I had a leak under my kitchen sink. I had to order a new faucet assembly from the manufacturer and needed it installed. The plumber was here on time and he went right to work. He installed the new faucet within less than an hour and cleaned up after himself and was on his way. I would use this company again and would recommend them to whoever needs a plumber.

Luis came and took care of everything! There were a few little issues with the faucets I purchased and also a crack in one of my pipes and he discussed all of them with me. so I would be aware of it. Overall, I was very pleased with his work.

When I called the plumbers they set up an appointment to come out to our condo and as requested easily arranged for me to pay over the phone since I was not able to be there personally. Before the arranged time they called me to remind me of our scheduled time. My son, a highly critical consumer, met the plumber and was very impressed with his work and integrity. I assumed we would need to replace the water heater but even though this would have been a more expensive job, the plumber fixed the hose and after examining the appliance he did not believe replacement of the water heater was necessary. Throughout his work, he showed my son how to solve and fix problems. He called me with the final estimates and I was amazed at the cost as I thought the work would be much more expensive. This plumbing company is the best I have ever worked with over decades of using plumbers. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services when necessary.

Cracked toilet bowl needed to be replaced. They were contacted, researched which toilet was needed to replace the cracked one, we were notified of cost, appointment set. The plumber arrived early began the project , worked quickly and was finished in the noted time frame. An outside leak was also discovered at this time. He was able to find and repair on the spot. It was great not to have to shop for a toilet and find someone to install it. The price noted was for both repairs. The plumber was very professional in dress, manner and work done. The office staff are great. I would highly recommend this company.

We had a leak in an unknown area in the house. One plumber came out and looked and dug around for it and suggested that we needed t have leak detector come in an find the leak that had to be in the house. Leak detector came in and found the leak in no time. He had to spend 10 hours here doing non-stop work. is fixed the leak which required rerouting pipes. Then he had to lay a new line in order to connect water to the other bathrooms. He moved heavy stuff in our garage to get to where he needed to be. He kept all damage and drilling on the outside of the house with the exception of behind the washer and through a small hole in the bathroom. He explained to me every step he was doing so nothing was a surprise. He was neat and clean, respectful of my house and of me. He worked diligently to get the job done and even brought in someone else in the afternoon to make sure the job got finished. This is a company who has worked also with a commercial building we own, and we had just as much professionalism there too. From their staff on the phone, to he guys in the field, this is an outstanding company who values its customers.

My 25 year old shower was dripping, I tried to fix it and damaged the pipes behind the on - off faucet. I called and was given the first appointment the next day. The plumber was on time and was courtious and professional. He was able to replace the damaged pipes, "Delta three way junction. thru the small hole in the shower enclosure. It was fixed correctly the first time and he cleaned up after himself.

Work consisted, among other things, in repairing a backed-up waste disposal system. They were punctual, responsive and professional in performing this service. Five weeks after repair, unit has failed again, but Douglas Orr Plumbing is unwilling to guarantee their service and indicated that repair would be treated as a new job, and they would have to bill me again for parts and service. Unnaceptable

Everything went great. The price was fair and the problems have been fixed. The only very slight problem is that I was given far too wide a range of times they could show up ("Between 9 and 4:30"), called at 12:30 to say they would be there in "15 or 20 minutes", and then didn't show up until an hour later. Still though, I can't complain about the work that was done, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Tommy has represented Douglas Orr Plumbing in my home 3 times over the past few years. He is always prompt, professional and his work is neat and clean. He checks and double checks to be sure the problem is completely resolved before leaving.

I cant say enough good adjectives to describe the service provided by the plumber that they sent. Also, the office was very transparent about pricong and billing. made my Angies subscription worth it for another year!

The overall experience went very well.

I was satisfied with the work that Jose did. He checked for leaking pipes in the walls. He did not find any leaking pipes. The tile on a shelf at the end of the bath tube was cracked and caused a leak into an adjacent closet when the shower was used in the bath tub. The shower pan in the other bath room was leaking into the wall shared by the two bathrooms. Jose had the estimator from his firm send me an estimate for replacing the shower pan.

I had just moved into a new home and purchased and installed a washer/dryer and utility sink. Our kitchen sink was draining very slowly and whoever installed that new utility sink (me) left the drain pipe with a slow drip. Douglas Orr was able to fix both! They snaked our drain pipe and thoroughly checked to make sure the kitchen sink drained properly after snaking. Then he re-did my sloppy utility sink drain... haven't seen a drip from that pipe since! Douglas Orr was extremely friendly from the moment they answered the phone through the completion of the appointment.

They were good. I did not like the attitude of that particular guy though. I think it was kind of condescending. Everything was done and fixed. He wanted information on the credit card on the form that he had. He was trying to get more information than that form actually needs. I had to insist and call his supervisor to know. That is fine now. I just did not like it. Their price was okay.

The good news is that I inherited a condominium in southern Florida. The bad news...I live on Long Island. There was a drain/dishwasher issue that needed to be fixed in the Florida apartment, so I searched on Angie's List for a plumbing company in Fl. with positive reviews. From the moment I made contact with this company, they were nothing short of patient, friendly and professional. Dealing long distance with the tenant and the condo association is daunting at best and this company made every effort to get in and fix the problem. Their fee was reasonable, and should there ever be a plumbing problem again, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. I called on a Tuesday and organized a plumber for the next day. The guy came right on time and went to work straight away installing the garbage disposal I had picked up from Home Depot. He was courteous and efficient and had the disposal installed in under 2 hours. Very nice, clean job. I would use this company again.

Service man, James, showed up the same day I called. He removed the old water heater and installed a new one ; total time spent, approximately 5 hours over two days. He was pleasant, efficient, and knowledgable.

He is a great guy. He is patient and explained everything thorough. Educated you on what he did and the process. Highly recommended. Do business practices.

It went smoothly. I called for a service appointment at 10am. The customer service representative gave details about the fees--$94 for the 1st hour, $47 for each additional half hour. Their policy is to dispatch the nearest available serviceman, and driving time is calculated into the 1st hour of service. I was billed for 1.5 hours. I received a call about 10 minutes before he arrived, which was early afternoon. He was friendly, efficient, and managed to control a dirty job so that everything was cleaned up quickly. Have some paper towels or disposable towels on hand for him.

We recently purchased this condo,and found that we could not control the temperature of the water(always scalding hot). We hired a plumber recommended by our condo association, but he could not identify the make of faucet(it was a brand from Italy, that is not that common in the US). We were ready to order ran entirely new shower faucet, which would have meant the shower tiles would have to be ripped out, to be able to install the new faucet.We then found Douglas Orr plumbing on Angie's list,which was highly recommended,and decided to give them a try. One of their plumbers, Matt, showed up on time, after taking the faucet apart found the name of the manufacturer on the back of the faceplate of the faucet. I was then able to order parts from the manufacturers US warehouse.The parts arrived quickly, but since this is only our winter residence, we were not able to have the work done until our next visit .One issue we had, was that a permit was needed to do the repair. The office staff at Douglas Orr was so helpful and friendly in obtaining the permit, and with providing the necessary paperwork to our condo association, especially Megan who we were in contact with very often in order to coordinate the work being done when we in town. On the day the work was scheduled Matt arrived on time,and did the work cleanly,and efficiently. To summarize, by being able to identify the problem,and the brand of faucet, I saved hundreds of dollars of unnecessary work.I will not hesitate to use Douglas Orr Plumbing again should the need arrive. It went very well. The office staff I dealt with over the phone were very professional and pleasant, explaining their services/rates/procedures, gave me an accurate estimate of when the plumber would arrive, and shortly before he arrived they called me to let me know he was on his way over. He was also very professional and courteous, put on shoe covers before entering the house, quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it clearly and had it solved in about an hour. Based on prior experience with other plumbing companies, the fee seemed very reasonable, considering the plumber had to get up on the roof of the house in order to access the clogged line, and apparently encountered quite a bit of gunk in there that took some effort to clear up. (I had a sense that'd be the case, since I'd poured 3 bottles of Drano down the drain the night before to no avail.) I also found the company to be very responsive and efficient -- I first called them at around 9:30 am, and the problem was solved before noon.

I first chose Douglas Orr because they were among the most highly rated plumbing companies on Angie's List. I can easily see why they had such favorable ratings, and so I called them again this time. They did outstanding work both times I called them. They came out within a reasonable amount of time. The only "negative" if you can call it that was I think the price is a little on the high side but not ridiculously so. I gave them a "B" for that but otherwise, all "A"s. They deserve it. I HIGHLY recommend Douglas Orr Plumbing if you have a plumbing problem. They will take care of it, fix it right, and they'll do it quickly. And their service guys are polite and professional. Can't say enough good things about these guys!

Punctual, quality work, excellent service and fair price. I'll definitely be using them again.
