Jesus was very nice. He came when he said he would and did the work and knew what he was doing.

Overall the experience was good. I called and left a message on the weekend and they called back first thing on Monday (which was excellent). A plumber was available to do the work the following day so I scheduled the visit between the hours of 9am and noon. Unfortunately, the plumber did not arrive until 1pm. They were apologetic about their tardiness but I think it's very important to respect client's time. Especially when they are taking time off work. If you are going to provide a four-hour window, you should arrive within that time period. Other than that, the work was done efficiently and correctly. It looks very professional. I have yet to run the dishwasher but I believe the plumber tested it prior to leaving and everything worked.

Douglass Orr has done many emergency jobs for our community and we have always been happy with the work and the level of professionalism. They can be expensive (I thought they charged fairly for this particular job), but in a plumbing emergency, the reliability is most important.

They are great. I don’t use anyone else now. I recommend them to everyone. Once they come out, its fixed you don’t have to worry about it anymore.

I called Douglas Orr because I was having an issue with a clogged pipe in the bathroom. I asked the receptionist if I could get someone to come to my house that same day. She was nice enough to inform me that she could have someone come out but that it wouldnt be until after 4:30 and I would have to pay the overtime labor cost. I decided to wait until the next day but I was very greatful that she told me about the costs. The technician showed up on time and got right to work. He fixed my problem and even cleaned up after himself. When he wrote up the invoice he asked if I had any coupons. I told him that I saw a coupon on Angies list but was not able to print it out because I just moved into my house and didnt have my printer hooked up yet. He called his office and got approval to give me the coupon. I was very greateful for that and think it says a lot about the company and the service they provide. I would definitely call them again (but hopefully I wont have to.)

Great job. Very punctual and professional. Although the issue was not a plumbing related problem the plumber took the time to explain the nature of the leakage problem and recommended the course of action for a repair solution.

All of our drains in house were not working and backed up It ended up being main sewer line from house was completely block from flushing down tampons. They sent the snake down from the roof vent and had to use the retriever attachment to pull the clog out. Overall they were professional, on time and response was outstanding. Would use them again.

The plumber was early and was extremely professional. He quickly and quietly went about his work.

They did a great job helping me out of a plumbing jam. They came to fix the main sewer line out of my house which required some digging and hard work. I was very satisfied with the work and the technician work very fast in effort to avoid me incurring overtime charges. I thank them for the hard work. This is my second good experience with them and I have no doubt they will do a good job on subsequent call outs.

JR arrived at my house first thing in the morning, as scheduled. Once I told him what the problem was, he determined that the thermostat needed to be replaced. After replacing it, he set the thermostat and waited to see if it was working properly. It didn't and he began to check other parts. He found that an element needed to be replaced; it had burned out. After replacing the element, he again turned on the water heater to make sure it worked properly and it did. He solved the problem, was both professional and personable and answered all the questions I had as he was doing the work. I would definitely use his company again and request JR.

The technician was knowledgeable, polite and showed on time. He arrived to the house at 12:39 pm and left at 1:47 pm. During this time, he did not perform any repairs but took measurements to re-route a water line. When he left, in addition to the hour spent taking measurements, he charged me one hour travel time. The total bill came to $170. Why would I or anybody have to pay 1 hr of travel time? Do you think it is reasonable to charge $170 for only taking measurements required to quote a job? Note that when I called to make the appointment, there was no mentioned about the travel time. I would not had hired Douglas Orr if I knew I had to pay travel time.

They did a great job and I would recommend them.

Gentleman arrived on time and completed all of the work under the estimated time. He was very professional and very meticulous. The projects were completed and tested to my satisfaction before he cleaned the work area and removed all debris. He replaced the leaking bibbs of the washer. He even explained the correct terminology. All I knew, was the washer was leaking! I would hire Douglas Orr Plumping again!

I am very pleased with this provider. I called on a Saturday, left a voicemail on their emergency line and was contacted within 15 minutes, 15 minutes faster than what they state the time frame is for a return call. I explained my problem, went over costs and had a plumber at my house within an hour. The plumber was friendly and professional and knew exactly how to fix the problem. I mentioned that I was an Angie's List member and he gave me 10% off of labor; I'll take it! This was not an inexpensive service (they charge time and a half on weekends) , but for the value, I received more than expected. All in all an excellent experience!

Called company mid-morning was told I would be called back that day with time the tech would be there. She called me back in a few hours informed me that they were on the way. I am about a half hour from my house and when I arrived home JR was in my driveway completing the invoice which included Angie's discount. My son was home and he had already removed, repaired and re-sealed the toilet. I was stunned! JR was very professional and informative. Saving the best part for last, the price, which was fantastic. Have lived in Miami for 37 years and this was very, very rare but I am very satisfied.

I've used Douglas Orr plumbing several times; sometimes for big jobs, sometimes for little ones. If I call in the morning they will arrive by early afternoon. They get the job done quickly and are competitively priced. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

I was needing help with my mother's property out of town and this company responded overnight in a rush order for help like no other company I have worked with. The plumber who did the work was very experienced, efficient, quick to resolve and explain the problem. Very friendly phone contact and plumber. I would highly recommend this comapny.

Customer service contacts over the telephone and via email were superb throughout the process. Job estimator was punctual and professional and comprehensive in surveying the problem. The company's representative who actually performed the work was punctual and professional and all work was accomplished in an ideal time period; work place required no clean-up. Excellent workmanship and service.

Prior to Douglas Orr I had four other plumbers come out and tell me that I needed to renovate my entire bathroom (condo) and it would not be worth there time nor mine to fix the problem. After reading reviews here I called Douglas Orr, they were prompt to send someone out (David), after assessing the issue he immediately tried to fix the issue. After finding out that he would have to access the pipes from my neighbors below I scheduled another appointment for repairs. This allowed enough time to speak to the owners and building management in concerns of the repair. Once the plumber came back out, he had the parts in hand and replaced everything within 2 hours. Could not be happier, I was so impressed with professionalism I recommended them to my parents to replace a water heater, they had it complete the very next day. I've never seen this kind of service before in South Florida, prompt, professional, no language barrier, and no nonsense. They come out to do a job and do it flawless!

Not happy with the results and is one of those experiences were you just accept your losses and move on. I did not think about writing a review until I just had to clean the whole bathroom due to the same problem I had with air bubbles coming up my toilet. Since I wanted it fixed the right way I went on Angie's and decided to pay up for a professional. I was told on the phone that it should be $94 per hour. When they guy got here I told him the problem but he could not replicate the problem. As I told them on the phone it only happens from time to time. Either way, he said it must be a clog and put a line 50 feet down the main pipe. Said problem should be fixed since he could not replicate the problem. In all he finished in about 20 minutes... I asked a lot of questions since the problem could not be replicated but none of the answers seemed to be concrete. He was very vague and it seemed like he either knew and didn't want to tell me or he didn't know which could be worse. He charged for an hours work along with his drive over here. He also included a "materials" fee. A week later and $160 and my toilet just flooded again. Thank god it was clean water.
