Our experience was a NIGHTMARE. We viewed puppies online, selected a puppy, paid for it (to the tune of $2,700) and then awaited 'shipment' of the puppy. It should also be noted that we were assured that the puppy would be a "papered" / "registered" puppy and that its papers would arrive within 6 weeks of purchase. Well, as terrible as it sounds, it's sad but true when I share that the puppy was supposed to arrive in Tampa, FL (from Minn) at 5:30pm. Late in the afternoon we were told it wouldn't be arriving until midnight, that it was too cold to ship the puppy (via airline regulations) so the poor little thing sat in a crate at the airport all day. We were also told that the puppy would arrive on a different airline and that they would call us to give us the specifics. We were at the airport at 11:30 anxious to see our new family addition. No call came from Premium Breeders. Finally I called and was told where to go. Upon arriving that the airline upon which the puppy was said to be flying, we were told that "no puppy" had been unloaded from the plane. Panic sat in as we made more and more calls. No one seemed to know where this poor little 10 week old puppy could be. While awaiting calls back from both the airline and Premium Breeders, we milled around the baggage claim area, finally we were told by the airline that NO puppy was unloaded from the plane. Within minutes of being told that, I came upon an "UNATTENDED" crate, and from several feet off could hear whimpering. There in the crate, shivering and scared to death and covered in feces, was the little puppy we bought from Premium Breeders. There was no paperwork on her crate, and in fact, we just took her home, no one asked if it was our dog - we just left the airport terminal with her. Once we got her home we realized we had no vet records for her. Our family vet refused to give her shots until he could see what vaccines she had already received. We called Premium Breeders, and to say that they were UN-COOPERAIVE would be an understatement. They flatly told us that it was 'our problem, not theirs.' We never did get the vet records, and worse of all - the reason we paid so much for our dog was because Premium Breeders advertised her as a "registered" - "papered" puppy from "championship bloodlines" (still have the ad) and yet, no AKC papers or any other kind of papers EVER arrived for the puppy we purchased. For all we know, we paid nearly 3K for a mutt. Don't get me wrong - we love her to death and she's our baby now (papers or not) but it?s the principal of the matter. They said she had papers and it was part of the purchase deal, and yet, it's been ten [10] months and they have never returned a call or letter and they certainly never sent her vet records or her papers. And as if that wasn?t bad enough, they charged us for micro-chipping, and of course, when we got her to our vet, they discovered that she had NOT been chipped, but of course, we were charged for it, along with her having to undergo all the puppy shots again (for the record and for her license). Do NOT use this company - the puppy was treated inhumanely in shipping, no one even babysat her at the airport to assure her safe delivery, and ... they did not provide the papers or other services they charged us for, and I said before, we?ve asked and asked repeatedly, and they have not returned our calls or forwarding any papers to us at all.
