We took our iPad in for a cracked screen, This company was not able to repair our iPad and they damaged it more while attemting to repair it. However the company damaged the iPad even worse by damaging the camera which no longer works, and the new screen is falling off. The molding/seal around the screen was damaged along with muliple scratches caused by the service technician using the wrong tool to remove and install the new screen. Dirt and debris have collected under the screen. I brought in my iPad to have her cracked iPad screen repaired by this company on 02/05/2013 as a birthday gift for my wife. I was told by Matt that they were Apple Certified and Matt has done over 500 iPad screen repairs as well as he convinced me to use the white screen because they were out of my color (Black). I was told it would only take about an hour and they would give me a call when they finished. I waited nearly 2 1/2 hours at the mall with no returned phone call so I just went back to the store to find out that during the replacement of the new glass Matt had cracked the new screen. I was told that they would order a new screen and would overnight it. I was very upset and was not thinking right, Matt charged me $143.09 for the service. I didn't even think to say no since the iPad was in the same condition I had originally brought it in for. I was furious and decided I rather take it somewhere else, so I called back and told another associate Tony I just wanted my refund and I would take it to another repair facility. I was told by Tony that he does not have the right to do any refunds but however Matt did say he would only refund me half of my money back $71.54. For a service that was never done, I should never have been charged in the first place. I called the owner Aaron French and left him a message whom called me back and apologized and said he would give me half of my money back and as well fix the repair. I was satisfied with that. On 02/15/2013 I took the iPad back to the store and Tony refunded me $71.54 and said he would call me after he did the repair. I being unaware of Tony's staus I did not know Tony has never done an iPad screen replacement before. Once again we never received a call. I called Tony back and he said it was now ready. When I got to the store Tony brought out the iPad and said that the screen was not seating in to the frame right and we would have to just keep pushing it back down onto the frame. I told Tony it was unacceptable and I just took the iPad and left upset once again. We called and left numerous messages at the store and never would get a call back from anyone and Tony was the only one who was ever in the store. Finally we got a call back from Mike who said to just bring it in on 03/01/2013 and he would fix it. We brought it in that same day and said to just please take his time. We waited another 5 days and had heard nothing from anyone. Finally I called the owner Aaron French who just said they were working on it. I was not satisfied with that response so my husband called Aaron and said he needs to replace it at this point because they were obviously doing more damage to than good to the iPad. Aaron told me I was calling his house line and not to call him anymore and that he was recording me. I did not call again out of respect. On 02/07/2013 Aaron called to say it was finished and we could pick it up. I went to pick up the iPad, and as I entered the shop Aaron the owner handed me the iPad in the exact same condition we left it in 6 days prior. possibly not even touched if not in worse condition with dust and debris getting under the screen. I told Aaron that the repair was unacceptable and Aaron told me that I would just have to deal with it. I took the service repair agreement off the counter along with the broken iPad and walked out the door. The 6' 5" 400lb Owner Aaron French chased me out the front door holding his phone o my face video recording me and reaching over me grabbing my shoulder and snatching the service repair agreement out of my hand while 3 young children watched as they sat in my car. We are now out $71.55 and a damaged iPad and multiple trips caused by this company that will now cost more to repair than to just purchase a new iPad. Please help us with this complaint as we do not deserve to be treated this way.
