They did a great job. They were friendly and professional and very helpful in giving us instruction on how to use and maintain them ourselves. We especially like that for a small fee we can hire them to close the shutters and then open them back up as weather dictates when we are out of town. We purchased the shutters several years ago and we have been very pleased.

My initial contact was with the owner of the company who came to my home to estimate the job. He thoroughly explained the scope of work, and patiently answered all my questions. On the day of installation, the crew arrived early and wasted no time getting started on the project. To my surprise, they completed the entire effort in just a few hours (including removal of my old shutter system). I would gladly use MR again, without hesitation.

From the moment we met the owner to the installation, we were kept informed every step of the way. He helped us determine exactly what type of protection we needed and what we did not need to pay for. The product itself is excellent, the service above reproach. I would highly recommend this company. They will not steer you wrong.

Maximum Resistance was great at follow up, precise on measurements and timely. We got the shutters just in time for Hurricane Dorian and they worked great! Fabulous company which we would highly recommend.

This is a family run business, and the owner is very proud to meet all promises. I received an estimate from three places (one of which did not even come to look at my home). Joe explained the most and promised a time element that was very good! His price was just under the cheaper, but, if I had gone with the cheaper, I'd be sitting here (waiting on Dorian) without my beautiful accordion shutters. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to try them out so soon, but the closed and secured as easily as Joe described. I'm guessing that the windows will be the only thing left intact (thanks to these shutters) if Dorian rips through our mobile home park. But, I digress. I would highly recommend this company. There were no hidden fees, the down payment was beyond reasonable, and the work was DONE WHEN PROMISED! NOTE: The plywood on the rear door is my handiwork and my choice. I'm sure that they could have taken care of that, as well.

Not being installed until February.

Ordered aluminum accordion shutters on July 1, 2017. They delivered them August 4. Lightweight, super easy to install and store. Wish I would have done this years ago. Eased my mind when Irma blew through FL last weekend. Thank you Maximum Resistance!!!!

Overall, I would give them A on everything other than the price. On price, it was too high. It was more than I could afford. On cost of course I can’t do it.  It would be an F, but I would just say a C or something or D, I don’t want to put them way down. I'm just getting estimates it’s just out of my price range. Not at this price would I use them again.

I should have gotten a written quote, but didn't ask for one (and was not offered one). I was charged $100 more than the verbal amount.

On the back of our townhouse - it's actually a condominium townhouse; two stories, but it's a building with other units all in line - we have a recessed rear porch. The porch is recessed underneath the roof line and the building wraps around it. They installed a storm shutter, even with the exterior wall that juts out. In other words, they protected everything inside that porch, including the sliding glass door that was in there and a window that was in there. It was a Miami-Dade county approved hurricane shutter. They were very very good, they cleaned everything up very good. I was here when the inspector came out, he looked at how they anchored it below, how they anchored it above and everything like that and said it was a good job. I got three bids and it was definitely competitive. I can't remember if it was the low bid or not. If it wasn't, it was close to it. But, I obviously would have gone with them because of reputation or something like that. They were definitely competitive, so the pricing was fine. They were right here when they said they were and they finished basically when they said they were. It was a one day job. They did a great job, they were here and they cleaned everything up.

Avoid at all costs.
They led me on for over a month saying they were going to do repairs, then  after failing to show up on several occasions for over a month and a half finally said they didn't want to do the job. Wasted our time.
We had to hound them for any update, absolutely horrible customer service.

Everyone was easy to deal with. Mike the main contractor was punctual and kept everything easy for my schedule.
Dave and Joe the guys who did the removal and install we clean neat and professional. The whole team was ready to accomodate the different schedules of tenants and owners. Very nice guys.

Mike, the sales rep, walked us through our options and the features of his product. He told us what to expect and offered excellent off season pricing. The installation team did an excellent job. The nature of the install is noisy.
