Contacted several companies due to AC dying on December 15, 2013. HD responded by having their agent contact us, Lowe's never responded. Local suppliers responded but were at least Two Thousand over HD bid. Specifically inquired about service. Old system was 26 years old when it died but was serviced annually and performed very well. Agent visited home; in reply to service questions wife and I were told that once installed there would be two inspections of the system. First by installation company within 14 days of installation and the second by HD shortly thereafter. We were told these were important and that installation company would not be paid until HD approved. Signed contract on Friday and workmen appeared on Saturday; complete installation was done Saturday, December 21st, 2013. On Sunday we awoke to no hot water. Called installation company to report problem, felt it was electrical but unsure, water heater was four years old. Installation company AC contact said he couldn't do anything as it was water heater but he would have plumbing department contact us. Plumber called within one hour, explained issue, told him I thought it was electrical. Plumber was condescending and said he knew exactly what was wrong without checking anything, the water heater had gone bad. He would come out at cost of $120.00 and would bring a new water heater, total cost would be $500 to $ 600. Told him no Left for Xmas family gathering. Returned home on December 26th, no contact from installation Company. Called other Plumbers upon return. Plumber appeared and found that power surged when AC installer turned on the new system had tripped circuit, new Plumber flipped switch and the water heater works fine; $85.00 service charge. No contact from installaion company after 18 days so called HD. HD denies everything we were told by installation company Equipment works fine, I think. Really would like to have the post-installation inspection we were promised and relied upon. Also I think installation company should pay for service call, if therir people had checked circuits when they left this probably would not have happen .

The cabinet work was fine even though I question the quality of the cabinets delivered for what I paid for them. The biggest problem was the vendor they recommended for the marble tops. The marble delivered was sub-par and completely different from what I discussed with the home designer. Even though they did return my money eventually I had to go two months without two of my major baths in house and wasted numerous hours working on solution with their recommended vendor. The Store Manager even said the marble chosen was sub standard which I asked him why didn't his "expert" store designer point that out to me. He had no response. I can only say completely unsatisfied and will make effort going forward not to use Home Depot.

Waited 30 minutes for someone to come off break to answer questions about window shades. The associate couldn't have cared less about my business. Could not find all the products for the rest of my projects. There was absolutely no one that could help here, just zombies walking around. Guy in the plumbing dept was absolutely cluless. This is THE worst HD I've ever been to. I suggest the Sebastian Store if you want real service.

They didn't get the job. Our kitchen upgrade was performed by another contractor.
