Hearth and Home Heating & Cooling company initially installed my A/C unit. Yesterday, I called the company that my motor fan is not working. I talked to a nice lady Glenda and she assured me that she will send a knowledgeable technician to my house to replace my motor fan. Robert Wise showed up and diagnostic the problem and he answered all my concerns and questions. I was happy with the service and recommend to others to contact the company if they have any A/C issues.

In 2019, we installed cooling and heating system and Jeremy Sorum showed up and showed us a cooling brand and after we accepted it, he try to sell us lower brand and I said no. Then after 6 month, we had warranty called and he try to sell us maintenance service for $180 and after I said no and ask him a question he yell at me. So I let him to finish his job and left. Please do not let him in your house. Jeremy Sorum think that you do not know anything and can trick you and sell you high price AC brand. The lady owner was informative and nice to us.

I called Hearth and Home around 9:30 am this morning and by noon a technician named Jeremy showed up at our door with tools in hand and wearing appropriate Covid-19 protection including gloves and a mask. Even better, it took Jeremy very little time to diagnose a short in our heat pump caused by vibration having worn the insulation off a wire shorting out the entire system. After making the appropriate repairs and performing a bit of preventative maintenance, Jeremy buttoned up the system covers, cleaned up the wire debris and turned our a/c back on. Other than curing Covid-19, it couldn't get much better than feeling the household temperature return to the low 70's. Bottom line is that I had never used Hearth and Home before but I was so impressed with Jeremy and the personnel that assisted me on the phone, I requested a maintenance agreement on the spot. I am looking forward to having oura/c maintained by Jeremy and others who know what they are doing, make repairs quickly and don't try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need. BRAVO!!!

Definitely recommend Hearth & Home A/C. We purchased a maintenance plan and have been very happy that we did so. Jeremy Sorum was our technician who came out for our most recent maintenance. We found him to be both professional and informative.

I had never used Hearth & Home before and based on the tech that came out, Jeremy Sorum, I would definitely use them again! He was on time, personable and knowledgeable. He inspected my fireplace and chimney. He was very efficient and thorough.

Service Representative told me I would incur “service charges”. I explained that I was only looking for an estimate and the system is working fine. Didn’t make a difference. Decided to use another HVAC company that won’t charge the customer to provide a job estimate.

'm very satisfied with the service I received from Hearth and Home.They were very Professional and solved my AC issue in a timely manner. I called Tonya around 5:00 in the afternoon and explained the leak problem that we had. she was very professional and she send Jeremy in about 2 hours to fix the problem. Jeremy was very knowledgeble and knew exactly what the problem was right away and fixed it that night. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. Follow up phone call from Tonya and providing more info was a plus point. Over all I'm very happy with this company and will definitaly use them again. Thank you

When it comes to getting things done around my home, customer service is as important as price to me. You can shop around for the best price and most companies are willing to work with you to develop a plan that is the best for your budget. But great customer service can mean the difference between a bad experience and a good one. When I had to buy a new air conditioner during the hottest month of the year, Hearth and Home Heating and Cooling made the entire experience a pleasant one. Everyone I dealt with at Hearth and Home was friendly and very efficient at their jobs. From the sales people who came to my home to discuss my needs, the service technician who kept my old system cooling until the new system was installed, the technicians who worked all day in the HOT Florida heat installing the new system, the office staff and the owner, everyone greeted me with a smile and a handshake and were happy to answer any questions I had. I asked several of the technicians what it was like working for Hearth and Home and they all commented on what a great place it was to work. I think that was definitely reflected in their work ethic and their attitude towards me, as a customer. I highly recommend Hearth and Home Heating and Cooling. Thanks to everyone involved who helped make my experience such a pleasure.

We have been doing business with Hearth & Home for years and they have yet to disappoint. This particular instance was no exception. As fate would have it, our AC unit went out in of the hottest summers in years. From the customer service reps on the phone to the technicians on site doing the work, all levels of customer service were exceptional and repairs done in as timely a manner as possible. My family and I thank you for making our comfort a priority.

Very smoothly. Price was good and the higher efficiency system has made a nice difference in our comfort and energy usage. Overall very pleased.

Jeremy the service tech arrived on time ready to get the job done. Very polite, professional and knowledgable about his work. He went above and beyond to fix the rail that was damaged on my brand new Jacuzzi. It was a harder job then expected as this was one of the first times this part has been replaced because the Jacuzzi is so new. This never stopped Jeremy from being positive and completing the job with great professionalism. Starting from the original sale until now this company and all its employees have been great to deal with. I would highly recommend them and will do business with them again in the future!

Mr. Sorum was right on time, provide the work required and was very familiar with our spa. He suggested a second warranty repair needed that I was unaware of until he pointed it out and also gave advice about an electrical change.

Just had another excellent service experience with Hearth & Home! The motor on our AC system broke and it was repaired very promptly. Everyone in the company was very helpful, especially appreciate Will for his quick response and Jeremy Sorum did an excellent job on the repair and impressed me with his technical skills and customer-service approach to the job. We are very satisfied customers.

I requested a "top-to-bottom" chimney inspection, chimney repair & sweep, if required. The top of the roof pipe was bent sideways (due to Hurricane Irma), and was badly rusted out. The 2-man crew performed necessary repairs on the chimney stack, and checked the chimney cap for integrity. The firebox was found to be somewhat rusted. A chimney sweep was not required. I am now awaiting an estimate for a new firebox for a 36" x 42" fireplace with stone around it, along with pictures of the chimney/fireplace that the crew took while on premises (for my home maintenance records). Hearth and Home is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I called the company for a new A/C quote based on a friend’s recommendation and could not be happier. The service manager, Rick, spent 1 ½ hours with me in my home on the initial visit, patiently answering my numerous questions (I had done a LOT of research on A/C’s and Air Handler’s so I could make an informed decision). Once I ask for their proposals, John, owner of Hearth and Home brought several written proposals for different BTU levels and SEER ratings for my review. I never felt that they were just trying to “make a sale”, but desired to install a good product and one that was best for our home. On the install day, both technicians, Robert and Harold were here early in the morning, as scheduled and WOW were they awesome! I was snapping pictures throughout the entire process so I could send them to my husband who was out of town. I was really impressed by their superb work and very visible dedication to their crafts. Robert organized and tie wrapped all the wiring on the inside of the air handler which will make it easier to maintain during the life of the unit. Additionally, everything he attached to both the air handler and the outside unit is organized and protected against weather as well as strings from weed-wacker! He also got some of my living room paint and painted the wall after he took the old thermostat off so it would have clean lines when he put the new one in! Can you believe that? Harold’s work was superb as well. He completely rebuilt the air handler box, and although it took a good portion of the day, never tried to rush through or compromise the quality of what he was building. He made a good, well built, sturdy, strong box. He not only put mastic on the outside of the box, he put it on the inside as well (and he used ¾ “plywood instead of OSB board – which was what the old one was built with); he also put it on the inside and outside of both the new supply and return plenums. After they finished the install, my garage was spotless. These guys were unbelievable!! I am SO happy I went with this company and have told several friends about my experience with them. They delivered exactly what they promised. If you are in the market for a new A/C or are looking for a company to provide a maintenance program for your old one, do yourself a favor and call Hearth and Home.

The tech, sales staff and installers were very professional. They took time to explain each step, their products and services. We were a little stunned at the replacement cost but also we had just experienced the sad result of a "cheaper" AC, so much the wiser. Waited until now to rate them because I wanted to make sure they would keep their word at the end of the 1-year maintenance contract and give me the next seasonal check as my Angie's List prepaid special (never completed because we bought the new unit). When I called to claim my third maintenance check, I had to bypass a resistant staff member but the manager resolved it promptly and my prepaid maintenance service was recently done, very professionally.

Beyond the dishonest sales pitch on the new blower motor, I had a conversation with the same salesman today which led me to write this review. The technician who installed the new blower motor took out a very old and dirty air filter at the bottom of that unit. He showed it to me, said it badly needed to be replaced. He left it out, indicating maybe that had something to do with why the old blower motor went bad. I spent weeks trying to find the size that fits in this Carrier unit. Nobody carries 20 inch by 22 inch by 1 inch. I ordered it from Amazon, but the paper air filters were too flimsy to go all the way in the unit. I could not even put the door back on the filter area. When I called the firm, he stated "oh, we only replaced a blower motor. There is no written record of or parts number for the air filter." I replied the technician took it out, said it had to be replaced and would not put the old dirty filter back in the unit. Replacing it has proved impossible to date. I told the salesman it was part of the work done, and the work was not completed. He was adamant it had been completed and that a technician would have to come out (at my expense) because "filters are a very complex issue, so many different ones". I could not believe after shelling out nearly $1,500 with this firm, the salesman had the gall to insist the filter issue was not part of the original work. The technician clearly thought it was. Maybe there are honest salesmen in this firm, and the technician was great, but the salesman who lied to me once, and had the gall to try to charge me for an issue that did arise and was related to the blower motor. I have called Carrier directly. I will not deal with this firm again. Bad bad news!!

I called after hours on a Friday (tenant's AC finally died, beyond repair). The owner answered, went out Saturday morning, and made a proposal Saturday evening. He made a logical case for the unit he recommended and described a contingency plan if the recommended approach didn't work (reuse of existing pipe). His price was less than that of the company that I had been using. His people installed the AC on Monday. They also came out for a minor repair after the hurricane (no charge). The company made a very positive impression on my tenant and on me.

We were very pleased with his service as well as with Jeremy personally. He is a very fine young man. We appreciate his honesty and integrity.
