As a former contractor, I couldn't have been happier. They were professional from the first quote through the final cleanup. They were always at the home when they said they would be with more than enough manpower and they always left the work site clean at the end of day including running a magnet through the yard. They handled everything from the permits to ordering materials, from installation thru cleanup and provided a release of lien at the end of the job. Every possible headache was thoroughly thought out and accounted for.

DC is very honest, and very flexible. They worked around my busy work schedule to meet with me to go over options as far as materials, color, and payment. I called them the last week of December and they started my roof the 2nd week of January. They do NOT cut corners: we had several sheets of plywood that needed replacing and the informed my wife and I of this immediately, took pictures to show us, and explained the why’s and how’s to us. The pricing was the best I found out of 5 quotes. Thank you DC!

DC Roofing responded right away and came out to give an estimate. Their price was very competitive. Leigh had answers to all of our questions. Since the property was under contract for sale, we needed the roof right away in order to close on the deal. DC Roofing went above and beyond the call of duty to work us into their schedule. The permits were applied for right away and the roof was completed in record time. It looks beautiful!!! I highly recommend DC Roofing and will recommend them to all of my friends and clients.

DC Roofing were amazing! They were very professional and knowledgeable! I was living out of state when the roof was being done. Colleen was great with keeping me in the loop every step of the way from when the permits were coming to when the crew arrived and completed the job! DC Roofing was also so great with the payment of the final third of the cost! This was an unexpected cost at the time but they were awesome in letting me pay over a period of time that was comfortable in my monthly budget! I wouldn’t have been able to get the roof done otherwise! I would highly recommend Dave and Colleen to anyone wanting to replace their roof!

I contacted DC roofing 3 weeks ago regarding my leak. Within 2 days, they had come out and inspected the roof, taking photos and being made aware I had some tile from previous work remaining. I was told I would be contacted shortly after he consulted with the company's "tile expert". I waited a week, hearing nothing and then another week hearing nothing. I left a message asking them to respond or tell me to "drop dead". There was no response, Business must be booming if you can "blow off' paying customers. UNRESPONSIVE and UNPROFESSIONAL.

UNBELIEVABLE! INSTALLED ROOF THAT WAS OVER TORQUED AND 24K ROOF WAS INSTALLED LOOKING LIKE IT WENT THROUGH A TERRIBLE HAIL STORM. I am a Disabled Vet on fixed income. I Cant affor to replace my roof twice.

"DC Roofing Inc. presented you with all the available options for a new metal roof installation and worked with you closely to find you a match between what you liked most and what fit your available budget. You wanted the option that DC Roofing Inc. had previously installed on the next-door neighbor’s house the year before which was 26-gauge (thickness), light stone (color) metal rib panel over existing shingles. The price of that combination was just over your available budget at that time. However, 26-gauge (thickness) silver (color) was within your range and you did not chose that option. The option you choose was the 29-gauge (thickness) light stone (color). You opted to down grade from 26 gauge (thickness) to 29 gauge (thickness) and retain the color option of light stone. DC Roofing Inc. installed exactly the combination of options you chose, which was 29-gauge (thickness) rib panel with the light stone (color) over the existing shingle roof. Your neighbor’s home has no evidence of this effect during any time of day or any lighting because they choose the 26-gauge (thickness) metal light stone (color) option. Your roof was installed correctly per local codes and per manufacturers specifications. Your roof passed final inspection of the local jurisdiction. DC Roofing Inc. requested the manufacturer out to said property and had it inspected. The manufacturer provided you with a letter stating proper installation approval. DC Roofing Inc. also hired an independent engineer to have the roof verified for proper installation and full roof integrity. The screws are set with the proper amount of torque to create the necessary seal to do their job for the life of the roof. Your concerns are strictly cosmetic and only visible upon close inspection during a small window of late afternoon. DC Roofing Inc. installed exactly what you asked us to provide. Your roof is installed correctly per code and per contract. We are terribly sorry you are not happy with the options you requested."

Overall I'm happy with the roof. Called them after the job was done to inquire about cost of a wind mitigation assessment for a new insurance appraisal. Three business days later they responded. In the interim I paid someone else for the assessment. Come to find out, it was a perk included with the metal roof, just no one came out and did it after the installation. Then I complained about how the install left me with one diverter directing rain water to flow down a wall, and Dave was having none of that kind of talk, just wanted to sell me a guttering system. Not even offering to come and see what I was talking about. The roof comes with a two year warranty, lord help me if I ever need to call them again.

"DC Roofing provides Wind Mitigation Reports upon request and the homeowner was contacted in two business days due to the fact of Veterans Day falling on a Monday. DC Roofing does not sell gutters and was trying to offer the best solution to the issue. The homeowner ended the phone call before we were able to get to a solution. DC Roofing has since contacted the homeowner a second time to discuss possible solutions and home owner said that he will call back once he has made a decision. DC Roofing is more than willing to assist homeowner with this issue and hopes that we can come to a resolution with the homeowner."

So I shopped around for quite a while, looking at many companies and comparing the price of shingles and metal. I even called the metal suppliers directly, I got a quote for the metal roof supplies by itself ($10,000 including shipping and matching copper screws) . And after talking to them it looked like many companies took the full price of re-shingling (including the price of new shingles and tar paper nails and such) the roof and then tacked on the cost of the metal on to of it. This company was on a list of recommended installers I got metal company. They were prompt on returning my calls and were out to give me an estimate within a day or so. Other companies have sales people to talk to you not roofers. With DC Roofing t you talk directly to the Owner who is a roofer. The price was $7-10,000 less than the other companies and it came with a free Wind mitigation. My deposit I Paid upfront covered the cost of the metal. As soon as the metal was delivered I called DC roofing to say it was arrived. At that point I had to wait for an install date. (yes that took a while) almost a month because of rain delays and lightning storms. I thought it would never come ( but the owner did call me back and tell me where I was in the list of installs) I was 4 jobs out then 2 then one. But the install day finally came and it was a new roof within 3 days from that date. Questions I Get all the time on my roof: Is the metal loud when it rains -No, I hear no difference in sound, I think that is because I put the metal roof directly over my old shingle roof Does it effect cell phone signal? _ my house was a dead zone before the roof I see no difference Does Metal it cost allot? - Yes it cost more But I was quoted $11-16,000 for shingles and this out the door price was 17,0000. And will last forever compared to the 10-15 years of shingles ( please note that this was the price two hurricanes ago) My sister in-law had her roof done last year all the prices went up for all companies across the board Would I recommend? Yes, I have given out DC roofing's info and all four families are happy with their new roof.
