ASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTORE

I feel scammed and defrauded and apparently there are 800 or more people reporting the same as I do.  As of yesterday 50 people have reported them to BBB and I assume there will be more.  AVOID.

I found the store very attractive and the usual rather aggressive sales staff, but attached myself to one that seemed "calmer" who let me wander at will. I soon noticed a sofa, love-seat arrangement with a coffee table and end tables that I admired and quickly decided to purchase this. The sales person arranged for the advertised sales price of the $299 "sofa" to apply to the sofa-bed that I preferred. I also bought some co-ordinating decor items. When I noticed one was missing from the set, he quickly adjusted the price to one that was agreeable to me. Later, when it became necessary for me to delay delivery because of a disagreement with my future landlord, Ashley Furniture was very understanding and stored this new furniture until such time as I wanted it delivered. It was delivered and set up very nicely for me by their employees, and it looks much more expensive than what I paid for it, and I've received many compliments on it.
