If for some unknown reason you feel like you have to do business with this company make sure you have a contract drawn up by a lawyer. Erans contracts mean nothing. He lied and cheated me out of my money. The only right thing Eran could do at this point is refund my money.
Provider was instructed physically to replace failed Hard Drive and nothing else. They were clearly and explicitly instructed to do nothing else without A.> providing a cost estimate AND B.> receiving authorization. Cost for the Hard Drive replacement was to be $70.00. They were specifically instructed that they were not to install an operating system, nor to attempt data recovery. We were billed for both services and our hardware held until the bill was paid, resulting in charges for more than three times the amount quoted.
Further, upon receiving the hardware back, no data was recovered and the operating system was incorrectly installed, requiring service by the manufacturer to correct. To get satisfaction regarding this issue, we had to appeal to our Credit Card's protection services.
Repeated attempts to handle this issue at a direct customer service level were rebuffed in an immature and unprofessional manner. Pass this company over for someone more reputable.
