"{removed member name}, I apologize for my apparent lack of people skills. I was trying my best to give you honest answers to the questions you were asking. I appreciate your feedback. Sometimes my "frankness" is mistaken as abrasiveness. I wish that your project goes and finishes well."
phone calls I finally reached him and his excuse was his truck broke down (I guess the phone did also).I should of reliized that it wa just the beginning of my problems. Many broken promises and a 1500 deposit later he said the liner was in (3 to 4 weeks), the linner was finally put in and 2 calls for repairs later I;m still waiting for him to either return my call or came over,He is not professional
I don't know how he stays in business. I joined Angie's List just to let everyone know my experience. This was to replace an existing liner. I have the emails from him. There are to many other professional out there to be treated like that. Shame on him
the pool was finish in July
"Well, I am surprised by the severity of this review. I have made every effort to do a good job for these folks. 90% of the communication was with her husband. Had I known, I would have addressed any concerns directly with [member name removed]. At one point, I paid for a leak detection company to inspect the pool after the new liner was installed. The claim was that the pool was losing water. The fact was the pool was only losing water due to evaporation. This was the best $200 that I have spent because I have not heard anything else other than this review. All I can say is Oh Well! You can't make everyone happy. As a company with a 15 yr history in Central Florida, This review is definitely an exception"
Mad River did a great job. The workers are professional and friendly. They let me time lapse video the pool installation. On time each morning and was continuous progress. Gave us a great surprise with an upgrade that was unexpected. Just happen to be at the right place at the right time.
They came in and measured, cleared out the grass and even helped me pull up a couple of trees they didn't need to. Dug a 6' hole and left it overnight to see if it filled up. Morning, no water, great. They brought in a large crane and dug the hole and leveled the bottom with gravel at the deep end. The pool was trucked in on a flatbed. The crane lifted it and placed it in the hole. They really wanted to make sure it was level so they lifted and leveled it 3 times to make sure it was right.
They then placed dirt around it and partially filled it. Next, installed all the plumbing and the filter. We had a salt filter system put in and lots of people recommend that. Filled the rest of the outside of the pool with dirt and the water inside. Once done, the paver guys came and did a great job preparing for and placing the pavers. When that was done, the screen guys came and constructed the screen room. We have 20/20 mesh. Great to keep most of the bugs out.
They all cleaned up after themselves every day.
So far, only had a small problem and Mike came over right away to fix it. Inspections went smoothly.
Another nice surprise, we didn't know that our pool came with a colorful underwater LED light. Love surprises and Mike seemed to have a few.
We love our pool and will recommend Mad River Pools to anyone!!!
