Thomas Walsh did a GREAT JOB. The job was completed and cleaned up in one day. Passed inspection flawlessly. I received from Walsh Roofing a new wind mitigation report immediately that saved me over $600 on my home insurance. They were very responsive to our needs and charged us very reasonably for unforseen repairs that needed to be made. Great company to do business with.

My wife and I dealt directly with Thomas. We had several questions and called him many times. Thomas was always available and was very professional. Thomas was amazing. He understood that I had to have my roof replaced or I was going to lose my homeowner's insurance, and he almost literally jumped through hoops to help me much faster than any of the other companies I contacted. On top of that his was the most competitive bid. Truly amazing!

They did a great job. Finished the work in 1 1/2 days. Thomas went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly and was done right. Very fair project cost and did not charge for some extras. Would definitely recommend SCM to any one that wants quality roofing.

WORK WAS VERY QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL

There ae two distinct parts to my story. Part 1. We needed to replace an asphalt shingle roof and after receiving quotes from three companies we elected to go with ACCD and signed a contract. Then pretty much everything went wrong. We had to meet again to re-sign the contract because the salesman had done it wrong. We set a date to begin the work. On Thursday before the work was to begin on Monday, the salesman called to confirm the date and to make sure we would have the solar heater for the pool removed. There had been no mention of removing the panels. The estimates from the other companies included it. The salesman said they were a roofing company and did not have the skills to work with solar systems. He said he would have some of the companies they work with contact us. On Friday, the owner stopped by and said we would be contacted by a solar company. No one called and the crew showed up on Monday. None of the crew spoke much English but they indicated that we needed to remove the panels. I called the salesman, my contact. He didn't know that the crew was on the job, thinking they would come the next day. He sent 3 links to solar companies for me to contact and I arranged with one to make a special effort to remove them the next afternoon. The next morning, I saw the panels coming down and stacked in the yard. The crew didn't want to wait any more, hadn't been told that we had arranged removal, and took them down even though they weren't trained to do this. The crew had asked to put a dumpster in our driveway and we had agreed. Later, without asking, they moved it into our yard digging up the grass. The contract called for replacing our gutters and installing a sky light and a solar tube. The crew was not aware of this and packed up and left when they finished the roof. Our contact gave up on us and said that Keith, the owner, would be back the next week and would contact us. Now, Part 2 of the story. Keith contacted us, came by, listed to our complaints and took charge. The work got done swiftly and well. He was available to answer questions and to check on progress. Each group that was working had at least one English speaking member who could communicate with us. We are very pleased with the final product and would recommend ACCD to anyone. Keith acknowledged our problems took responsibility and definitely earned our respect.

Thomas educated me on the difference and quality in material. Other companies were not offering the same quality of material, and were higher in their prices. Once signing, his crews were there in 2 weeks and had it done in 2 days. They did a beautiful job and did a fantastic job on the clean up. If you use his company, you will not be sorry. Everything ran extremely smooth.

I am very happy with my new roof. SCM did an excellent job. Thomas was professional and kept me informed while there was a bit of a delay due to the weather. I would highly recommend this company.

I'm very happy with my experience with SCM Roofing. From the start, Thomas was honest and patient. He didn't give us a "hard sell" and answered my numerous questions throughout the process. Mother Nature was uncooperative and forced rescheduling, but Thomas made sure the work was done by the deadline set by our insurance company. SCM Roofing uses GAF materials. I am no expert in the field. However, the company's 50 year material warranty meant a lot to me as a consumer and homeowner. Plus the dimensional shingles came out really pretty. :) The crew worked nearly non-stop from 7am until sunset, with only a 30 minute lunch break. The job was actually done ahead of schedule! And they were as courteous and efficient as they were hard-working. As promised, my concerns about the property being left a mess were unnecessary. They actually left my lanai cleaner than when they started. I am very comfortable recommending Thomas and SCM Roofing to others.

The crew that did the roof went beyond what anybody would expect was very professional, i have a difficult roof but they originally said would take 4 days only took 2 days, with afternoon storms coming they made sure the roof was water tight before leaving, would like to say thank you to the whole crew

The roofers were very professional, hard working, punctual, coscientious, very organized and courteous. They could build the Pyramids they were so efficient.

Another roofing company had told me that I would have to replace my flat roof over the porch to stop the leaks I was experiencing. Thomas, from SCM, came out and said he could do simple repairs to the flat roof, extending its' service life another 2-3 years, and fix some areas on the pitched shingle roof that were most likely causing the leaks. He came back to do the repairs when he said he would, even worked in the rain to do so. He then astonished me by suggesting we wait a week to see if he did indeed take care of the problem before paying him! This is a contractor that understands what "customer service" actually means and how to build customer loyalty. When it comes time to replace both my shingle and flat roof Thomas and SCM is the only contractor I will call. I trust him to give me a fair price and quality work just has he did with this vexing repair.

I cannot say enough about these guys. Eddie was amazing. The guys were finished in a crazy fast time and the yard was cleaner than before they came! The whole experience was excellent. They were so professional and so caring. I would recommend them for all your roofing needs and would use them time and time again. Thanks for making our home safe and our lives easier. I would highly recommend SCM roofing. I called after some heavy storms made it appear my roof was leaking. He came out and took a look and explained to me where the water was coming in from and that it was an easy fix with some caulking. He offered to do it but explained it was an easy DIY. He didn't charge me anything for his time and was extremely nice. I appreciate the honesty and up front nature. I will definitely keep his number handy and refer anyone I know here :)
