Crew was very skilled and did an excellent job! Doors slide really well with no effort at all. Dual dead bolts give greater sense of security and handles are a must. Highly recommend for any sliding door repairs!!
four things that were not readily apparent when I gave the first review. Unfortunately, to be completely honest, these things now force me to lower my rating.
Much of the service was excellent. The two technicians arrived right on time, and were very courteous. And, they did an excellent job of fixing the problem. Prior to their service, the two sliding glass doors were extremely difficult to open. After they were done, the doors now work very well, and slide easily. I am very satisfied with that.
However, here are the four problems that I noticed later that day after they left. One, there is now a 3-inch crack in the glass
that I am 100% certain was not there before. It is on the edge of the glass, where they hammered the side of the sliding door frame back onto the glass. The glass will have to be replaced at some point. Two, there are now seven scuff marks in the window tint film that I am sure were not there before. I literally mean ?in? the film, not ?on? the film. They cannot be cleaned off, and are permanent until I have the sliding glass door re-tinted. Third, there was a pile of metal shavings where they did some drilling into the
metal door frame. That is potentially dangerous because these doors go out to the pool deck and people walk through there with bare feet. I had to vacuum those up myself. Fourth, there were numerous dirty hand prints on the white door frame.
I had to clean those myself. I wish they would have wiped those off the frame.
Update: Although I originally gave a ?C? rating because of the problems described above, I am now updating my review and changing it to an ?A? rating. The company worked very hard to remedy the problems, and got everything fixed. They made several trips out to my house to personally view, assess, and fix the situation. They even arranged for outside contractors to visit my house and handle whatever issues they could not resolve in-house. And also they called me numerous times during the process to keep me updated on the progress. During this time, they were extremely polite and courteous. I appreciate the fact that the ownership cares a great deal about customer service, wants their customers to have a positive experience, and that they tried very hard to correct the issues. Certain problems are inevitably going to arise with these types of home repair
projects, and this company will stand by their service and do whatever it takes to ensure any problems are resolved.
