Charlie was very courteous and professional. His price was very fair and he tried hard to meet my scheduling
needs. He answered my phone calls promptly and answered all my questions. I will use him again when I need
another pressure washing at my home. I will also recommend him to friends.
"We did our very best to minimize the amount of debris in the pool. The pool water was the only thing on this property that was not filthy. The paver pool deck had not been cleaned in years. Due to the way the water drained from the pool deck to the pool, we were unable to keep all of the debris from entering the pool. When pavers are as dirty as these were, (with inches of mud built up between each paver that needs to be removed) it is impossible to keep all of that out of the pool. We use a surface cleaner that has a brush around it, (which is designed to minimize debris flying around) and we push all debris out of the doors, but when the deck is as dirty as this one was, you cannot keep all of it from entering the pool. The amount that actually did enter the pool was minimal. However, the client admitted she is not from Florida and did not know what to expect, so when she saw a small amount of dirt at the bottom of the pool and a few leaves floating on the surface, she really over-reacted. We did inform them before they hired us that some debris would end up in the pool and that some sealant would get in the pool when it is sprayed on the coping. The automatic pool vacuum would have easily cleaned up the amount of debris that was in the pool and would have been filtered out by the pool filter as it is designed to do. However, the client said that she did not know much about pools, and since it was an expensive pump, she was going to turn off her pool pump and hire someone to clean it out. I advised that this was not necessary, but she said she wanted to err on the side of caution and spend the money. To address the electrical issues. We never spray water directly onto any outlets, but it is possible that some water did enter an outlet during our cleaning. When she called on the weekend to inform me that she was having an electrical issue, I returned the call and left her a message letting her know that I could come back to her house and could probably fix the issue by hitting the reset button on a GFCI outlet. She called back later to let me know that she had already had an electrician come out to do that and that he said the outlet was fried and needed to be replaced. Unless the outlet was faulty to begin with, it should have only needed to be have the reset button pushed. I understand that this client was upset about the pool. However, most clients with a pool with the same amount of debris in it after having dirty pavers cleaned, are extremely thankful that we did not get the pool nearly as dirty as previous pressure washing companies they have used. Even if this client was upset about the issues they listed, I do not see why they would give me poor grades on all of the metrics such as Price (when they hired with no haggling), professionalism (since we responded immediately to all phone calls), and punctuality (since there were no issues there). One minute she was going on and on about how happy she was and how she couldn't believe how clean everything was, the next she was overly upset about a little bit of dirt in the pool. We take a lot of pride in our work. You can read through countless other reviews on this site where customers mention how thorough our work is, and how happy they are about how little we dirtied the pool. We have been on Angie's List for years and have never received a negative review like this. To anyone reading this, please look at my other reviews and do not base your decision to hire me on this review."
