Thank you [Member Name Removed] for taking the time to review our company and the work completed. We value your opinion and thanks for your trust in us!Service Provider Response
We should of caught the odors the first time. Sometimes they are isolated in one corner and nowhere else. I wish there were a way to measure odor but the only way is to use our "sniffer". I'm thankful that you put in there that we eventually took care of the odor issues. Odor elimination in area rugs is one of the hardest things to eliminate in the cleaning world. I believe we are the best at removing odor here in Central FloridaService Provider Response

Thank you so much for the review. We work really hard in ensuring the odor gets out of the carpet including all the pet hair than can give a yucky pet dander odor. It is nice to be appreiciated for our hard work and thanks for taking the time to leave such a great review for us.Service Provider Response

Not all fringe is white. I know the area rug ment a lot to you but I don't believe in bleaching fringes. Most fringe is made out of cotton and cotton isn't white. When you have a fringe that is perfectly white that means it was chemically brightened. If I wanted to get your fringe white I would have to use an oxidizer on your fringe. Oxidation, damages cotton and wool. (99% of all fringe is cotton or wool. The Fringe is the extension of the Weft and Warp yarns on the inside of the rug. They make the grid the weavers put their knots on.) I'm very sorry your dissapointed. Your fringe is not ruined. We can fix it. And it does take a long time to clean a rug. We ask for a week. One of the main reasons for that is because we sometimes have to wash a rug multiple times. When you wash a rug, you have to dry it. It takes some time. I'm always available to chat and will always back our work up. We have a 100% money back guarantee and we will replace anything we ruin. (which we have had to do before. Out of thousands of rugs we might have to replace one or two. It is the nature of the business.) By the way, I'm the owner and I clean and/or supervise all of the cleaning. It wouldn't matter if an employee left. I don't just let anybody clean rugs here. Takes a lot of trianing and it is all supervised.Service Provider Response

"The technician arrived at the appointed time within 20 min or so. He was rude and seemed not to want to work." I'm sorry you experienced that attitude. Customers usually mention how happy and cheerful we are. I don't hire folks we "don't want to work." :) "When I took him to the desired location, which I had described to the owner as being very dirty, he said that the price would be at least 250.00. I reminded him of the price quote for two rooms as 125.00 he said he had to go outside to make a call. when he returned he said 125.00 for only the one room. I agreed." We measure everything. We do have a $125 minimum. That covers 250 sq ft. If the rooms measure bigger than that then the rooms are just bigger than we thought. Also, whenever we give a quote we always give a realistic range. We don't Bait people into a cleaning job at a certain price and then Switch them to another. We can't give away cleaning because our process is very unique and requires a lot of effort to just clean one room. "When he reassessed the room he said that he would do his best. The owner had assured me that his product would get out dog hair and dog dander, guaranteed, and the work would continue until all stains were removed." The reason why we can get out dog hair and dander is because we use a CRB machine before we even vacuum. It is two counter rotating brushes that dig deep into the pile and remove the imbeded dog and cat hair that can't be removed with vacuuming. The last part of the paragraph above is partially true. We continue to clean until our pads don't show that much dirt so yes, we will keep cleaning until there is no more dirt to get out. However, there are certain spots that you can't "clean out". When we are dealing with a DYE like animal urine or paint you have to use different products on them. Those products work as they dry. They are products that use a form of oxidation. Oxidation doesn't work immediately. Some times they do but most of the time they don't. You have to spray and then judge their effectiveness. As awesome as we are, we are limited by only science. :) "The room did not have dog dropping, only residual from an art student, charcoal, yet, no paint." This kind of stuff is very difficult to remove. You can't just spray a solution down and its gone. We have to use proper chemistry. "The technician had to use my kitchen sink to obtain water...!!!" We always ask what sink to use or we use the hose outside. Our cleaning products require us to use water. "while completiing the job I called the owner several tiimes to remind him of this guanantee. He agaiin reassured me of a good outcome." Which I answered everytime and took the time to answer all of your question in a polite and friendly way. "The technician upon completing the job said that the s stains were stil visible would go away with a quick sweeping." I don't know what quick sweeping means? Maybe vacuuming. That is partially true. One of the last steps we do is put down an encapsulator. The encapsulator surrounds sticky soil and turns it into a dried polymer. Those dried polymers fall to the bottom of your carpet and get vacuumed out. Again, not every spot comes out with just a cleaning. Cleaning will take out about 90% of stuff you see on the carpet. But that last 10% is tricky to get out and requires specific formulas. "To make the incidence worse, I paid in cash and he said that he did not have a receipt to give me, I would receive an email. I insisted on a receipt for cash payment. I wrote a receipt on note paper for his signature. When I called the owner, he acknowledged that they do not give receipts to clients. I have never heard of that before...!" Of course we give receipts. I didn't say we don't give receipts. That is a half truth. We e-mail our reciepts to clients. for 98% our our client base this isn't an issue. And we store your service history in our database. So if you ever need a receipt in the future, say for warranty purposes, we can easily send you a copy of all your reciepts so you can produce a history of maintenance. I saw the pictures from the tech of the carpet. It was in pretty bad shape. It is my fault, and my tech's fault, for not giving you realistic expectations. But I guess he tried to do that when he said "I'll do my best." I agree it's not the best way to communicate, and that is my fault for not training him better in that regard. I hope this detailed explanation clears up any misconceptions. As always, we have a 100% money back guarantee. We DON'T want to be paid by people who do not like the work we do. We, I, don't operate that way.Service Provider Response
I made a video of this rug on youtube.com This rug came out great to us. But to customer that is all that matters. "Rug is clean and smells wonderful." Thank you. We appreciate that. "But the color is now deep red with a black wash over it and black instead of navy blue. There isn't a trace of navy blue." Navy blue and black are very similar. Ever had a navy blue suit and a black suit? You have to bring them into the light to tell the difference. I'm not saying this customer is not telling the truth but what I am saying navy blue and black are only one or two shades off. Light reflection and fabric play a part in differenctiating between the two. "Deland said they put something on the rug so it wouldn't bleed, and the color is not the same now." I did. I put down a product called "Dye-loc" from Bridgpoint. Their website is [hyperlink removed]. Dye-loc does not stop the colors from bleeding. That can only be kind of controlled by keeping the rug in an acidic state as to not raise the ph level which would cause the dyes to run. "Dye-loc" locks the fabric from accepting foreign dye so there is no "dye migration" issues. Anybody who cleans rugs knows that you can't say the rug dyes won't bleed. Especially on a red and navy blue rug. Red and Blue are the worst bleeders. I did a dye test (I have a youtube video of this exact rug online. It shows all of my cleaning techniques from start to finish) before I started and knew what was going to bleed and I did something about it. "There are also some areas where the dark wash is deeper." I don't know what dark wash means. "At the shop, we moved the rug outside in the sunlight so I could view it better and I knew the color was off, but they tried to convince me it was not." We weren't trying to trick you or anything. Look up what the word abrash means in rugs. dyes are funny with hand knotted rugs. We were not trying to convince you in a manipulating way more trying to educate you or at least try to show you what we are seeing through our eyes. "They offered to come out to the house to view the rug again, in case I am not happy with the cleaning job, but I don't see what can be done to fix this problem so I will not attempt this." This helps us look at the rug the way you REMEMBER the rug looking in its natural environment. The one you are judging the rug by. This is important to do so we can be on the same page as you. "I now have a very clean rug but it is not as beautiful as it was before it was cleaned." There are many, many, many options we can do to the rug to try to bring it back to what you are determining as clean and beautiful. "Morgan at Perfect Pear was very professional and tried to help me figure the problem out." As you left the shop, I appreciate the phone call you gave me about how you appreciate him. I'm glad you felt taken care of by him. Please allow us to look at your rug again. We would really like to make sure you are happy working with us.Service Provider Response

This is all true. This review is real. We really goofed up on this one. It was a clerical mistake on my part. When I took the information from this customer I failed, I don't know why, to input his # in his account. He did call the office and I immediately got a text message and an email from my call center. I don't like sending people to voice mail so I send missed calls there instead. I tried calling back, now that I had the number, but there was no answer. The appointment was between 9 & 10 and he called at 10:30. I called back at 10:35. There was no answer and I left a message. I called back multiple times. I guess if I was him I wouldn't answer either. I was so sick to my stomach that I did that too somebody. I wish I could say this was a fake review but it's not. This is our first "F" rating. But, we deserve this one. To make sure this doesn't happen again I hired a really good office manager. So now as my little company is growing that is one less hat I have to wear. That clerical error won't happen anymore. My office manager starts full-time July 1st. I hope anyone reading this and considering our company can see that this is an isolated incident and not a repeated pattern.Service Provider Response
