I had almost every screen replaced, replaced roof panels and wall panels. I am in good shape, now. They also did the hardware on the doors, everything was cleaned up nice and trim looks good. He came back and took care of all my concerns. So far I am pretty satisfied and he also gives a two year warranty on all his work.

THE ESTIMATE
I called Joe for an estimate and he happened to be in my area so I got a verbal estimate the same day.
After getting 2 other estimates, I called Joe back because his estimate was lower and included two door closer kits, 2 bug sweeps and repair of a door panel. I requested the estimate in writing and scheduled with him to do the job on March 11th @ 9:00 AM. At 9:45 AM he had not arrived and had not called. So I called Joe to see what happened. He said he had forgotten the insurance and worker's compensation wavier documents I had requested, so he went back to his office to get them... And he was sitting in my driveway right now.
I went out to see him and he showed me the paperwork, then told me he needs to reschedule because he had a big job yesterday that he needs to finish today. He said he came by just so [I'd be able to confirm he has legitimate insurance and worker's compensation]. I was angry that I had blocked out the morning and he hadn't called me the evening before to reschedule, when he knew he hadn't finished the big job. I did not reschedule right then.
SCHEDULED WORK
Mainly because of his estimated price and extras, I decided to give him another chance. I called and scheduled for March 16th @ 9:00 AM. He arrived at 9:22 AM with an assistant. Joe had not provided the worker's compensation wavier for the assistant. I allowed the assistant to work after he signed a Construction Liability Wavier I keep handy. It protects me [the homeowner] from being sued if the worker is injured while on the property.
WORKMANSHIP
The quality of the screen installation was outstanding. I can't imagine a better appearance. Joe was checking the quality so closely that he pointed out a gap above the doggie dog flap that should be caulked to keep the bugs out.
ADVICE
Always, always confirm that a contractor has an appropriate license (if required), current liability insurance (which pays for damage to your property) and worker's compensation insurance or a wavier (which protects you from being sued by the worker).

Outback returned my call right away. Came and did the estimate the same day. Did the work the next day. Cleaned up everything! Great job and appreciated the quick results.

The experience started out great, They were quick to respond to my call reagrding the complete re-screen of my enclosure.The price was better than most at $850.00.
I was so happy at the time of the install that I referred them to friends and neighbors.
But, that all went south when I tried contacting Out Back regarding quality issues with the screen.
I called more than 20 times, and sent numerous emails with no response. When finally I threatened legal action they decide to come out and look at my problem. Please keep in mind he warranties the work and product for 2 years. Well he finally shows up and has an attitude right of the bat, claiming there is no way his screen is an inferior product, well guess what, it is. It started to fall apart in less than two years, and he refused to honor his 2 year warranty commitment, instead he was trying to give me price quotes for repair.
I was so disgusted with this individual that I decided to no longer pursue any communication with his company. I will pursue corrrective action with another installer..

Joe Herzberg arrived on time and completed the job in the time stated (2 days). The finished product looked very profesiional. Screens were tight and fit well. A high quality screen used. He even threw in replacement of hardware for two screen doors and power washed everything. I am very pleased with the results and will hire him for some gutter work I will have done in the future.
