This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. What service company takes a lunch from 12 to 2 where they cannot be reached? Whoever does the scheduling is very poor at it because I was told that my part would be picked up Monday evening and I would be the first call Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM. When I called at 8:15 to find out what was going on, I was told the window was 8 to 12 OK. Do you know what time I got my air put back on 730 tonight. I am 81 years old and have been without Air for over a week. If my home warranty was using any other company I would have insisted on it. The only saving grace is their technician Matthew.

I had an AC repair done by Complete Air Mechanical of Central Florida through my home warranty. Before they even sent the technician, they required me to sign a form stating I couldn’t dispute the $850 charge, without providing any clear breakdown of what it was for. I felt forced to sign because we urgently needed AC, especially with kids in the house and the Florida heat. Once the work was done, I asked for an itemized invoice or a work order and got nothing but vague references to “non-covered modifications.” The tech said he didn’t know what the charges were for, and the office just redirected me back to him. Very disappointing and unprofessional, no transparency and no accountability. Beware of unclear billing practices.

I learned the hard way about hiring a company before doing the research on it. A word to the wise read the bad reviews on this company before signing the contract. Many of these bad reviews are similar in a way and this if this company continues their substandard work and or what other faults they have they will continue having poor ratings possibly causing fewer new customers .They have a contract for one reason and that’s too lock you in as a customer . To cancel contract you will have to pay additional $. Reputable companies do not require a contract. You pay the full amount upfront therefore, you do not have an amount to pay to cancel their service.

I am a professional property manager and I always work with many different contractors. Complete Air Mechanical is the worst contractor I ever see in many years. I don’t think I will see even worst contractor in the future! I bought American Home Shield (AHS) for all of my managed properties. The AC doesn’t work recently in one of my properties. AHS assigned Complete Air as my contractor. Complete Air came two times, first time they told me that they need replace the capacitor of the and they did. The AC only worked for a couple days and then stopped again. Complete Air came second time. They didn’t mention anything about “pre-existing” condition when they were at my property. But when they went back office and submitted report to AHS, they told AHS it is a pre-existing problem. Unfortunately AHS blind trust whatever the contractor said, and denied my service request. I have to spend more than $7000 to replace the AC completely. I certainly called AHS, AHS promised that they can reimburse the cost if Complete Air can modify their report. In the next two weeks, I called Complete Air every day and I was told I need to talk with the manager “Melissa”. I left tons of messages for her but she never call me back. Finally today I drove to their office and I told them that I wouldn’t leave until I talk with Melissa. Unfortunately and not surprised, Melissa is so mean, rude, and didn’t show any professionalism. I don’t know how the owner of Complete Air can tolerate such bad customer service in his company. I will not be surprised to learn Complete Air will continue to lose customer and close very soon! Never hire them! I have called ASH all my experience. Don’t waste your time and money on Complete Air!

Utilized this company through American Home Shield for two service calls in the past 10 months. Both times James, the tech, told us, before even making an evvaluation of the problem, that we needed a whole new system. Last week he evaluated the problem and found a leaking core. Stated AHS would never pay to repair, that we could repair at our expense a week later, or we could put in a NEW system the next day. We said we would wait to see what AHS would do. So we have been without A/C for a week while we waited for Complete Air to file the assessment and get a repair. Yesterday, I called AHS to find the status of the repair and was told the tech, James, had filed the issue as a leaking core, NOT DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. As such not covered by AHS. Now let us be perfectly clear. The unit is 15 years old! It is 2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean! It has been repaired THREE times in 3 years for coolant leaks! But a core leak is NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR? So Complete Air Mechanical of Central Flordia got our repair claim denied, making it necessary to replace the system. Now I just saying, you be the judge as to whether this is a company you want to do business with! JUST SAYING!

STAY AWAY!!!! After being told by the tech (Carlos) that he would submit his report to our home warranty company today, I simply called to follow up and see if it was done yet. I spoke with Lisa in the office and she was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. She said she needs 24-48 hours and that it would not be done today. That is fine, but it was not what the tech told us this morning. She then starting saying "the tech would never tell you that it would be done today." So I asked her if she thought I was just making it up or hearing things? (Meanwhile, I have the conversation recorded on our Ring security camera and have verified that he told me it would be submitted today) His exact words--"oh yeah, we'll send it all in today." Lisa started screaming even more on the phone with me about how busy she is and about how much work she does in the office. It's like she started having a panic attack due to all the work she had to do. Then.... she hangs up on me! I called back and spoke with Candice, who said she understood my frustration. In the background I could hear Lisa yelling at someone else again. Telling them what happened and that she’s not going to deal with it. “She works too hard!!!” Now, I’ve received a notification from them that the job is “completed.” I guess they’re not able to help now because Lisa is so busy. What a joke!! You all should be ashamed of yourselves and your customer service skills. If you can’t keep up with the pace of the company, resign! Be thankful you have a job and do it. I’ve asked the owner, Melissa Sipple to reach out to me. Let’s see if she is as incompetent as the rest.

"I am very competent, as is my staff. I'm sorry that we were unable to provide satisfactory service to you under your home warranty company, as it is never our intensions for a customer to have a bad experience with our company. After an unsuccessful attempt to reach you by telephone, as stated in message with you, we should not have to be subjected to unwarranted rude comments being made to hinder communication because of previous bad experiences with other vendors or the home warranty company. We are all human, and we all deserve the same amount of respect, just as you expect from service companies. In speaking with Carlos I am being told that he did say his report would be submitted today, meaning he would be submitting everything to our office so that the office staff can get it submitted online to the home warranty company. This is the process, and normally the office staff does get everything submitted the same day unless there is some hold up on information available and more needs to be researched and in which case this is when it could possibly take up to 24-48hrs to get it submitted to the home warranty company. 98% of our work orders are in fact submitted the same day because we have multiple staff on hand that work well into the evenings to streamline things as quickly and as efficiently as possible. As my word to you in the messages I will be reviewing the camera system so that I can work on our customer service where needed so that in the future we do not fall short of anything less than acceptable. I look forward to receiving your ring video for my review as well. The notification you received from our dispatch system of the job being completed is because we did request a transfer of vendor so that your AC issues can be repaired in a timely fashion without delay due to any communication conflicts now and in the future due to yet another home warranty company network vendors incompetence. We wish you the best of luck."

My previous AC service provider retired. I used Angi to locate a new service provider and selected Complete Air Mechanical. This company offers a "discount for an Angi referral." Be forewarned – the promised Angi discount only applies to a one-time service call. If you sign-up for one of their annual service contracts, as I did, you will not receive any Angi discount. In that case, there is no benefit in contacting Complete Air Mechanical via Angi as you will pay the same price as any person calling direct without Angi. The provider does not seem to value Angi as a source for new customers. As part of the annual service contract that I selected, I did receive a service call for the annual inspection; the service person was pleasant, and everything checked out fine. Six months later, my AC stopped cooling and I arranged another service call from Complete Air Mechanical. It was determined that there must be a leak in the system that let the coolant escape. Because the system was old, it was also determined that I needed to replace the system. I was quoted a price in two phases to replace my existing AC heat pump system, which seemed a little high. I was also offered a “stop-gap” repair to tide me over until the unit was replaced; this consisted of a leak sealant plus more coolant. The charge was over $324. I was under the impression that the repair would buy me at least a week or two. However, within only six hours, my existing system was no longer cooling again. I do not think six hours of cooling is worth $500; if I had known this was going to be the result, I never would have authorized an expenditure of $500. The next day a company representative called to see if I decided to move ahead with the new installation they had quoted. I complained about being charged $500 for six hours of cooling; the representative did not even offer an insecure “I’m so sorry to hear that,” nor was I offered a refund or an additional $500 discount on a new system installation -- no consideration of any kind! Apparently, this company is not the least bit interested in customer satisfaction. I have since terminated my service contract with Complete Air Mechanical and I will never do business with them again. I do not recommend them to you or anyone else.

**Check Yelp reviews as well** Was assigned them by American Home Shield. True to the pattern here they took a week to come. Man that came said our system (4 years old) was leaking and completely out of coolant and I quote, he said “I’ve never seen that before” and that we needed new copper pipes. Of course AHS said this wasn’t covered so I’m thinking if not covered I’m going to go with someone trusted and has good reviews, Nunez AC. I called them at 7PM the night I found all this out. It is now 10:42 AM the next day and he was here and diagnosed the problem in literally 10 minutes and no where near what this company told us - #1 it is a valve (which has happened in the past) AND #2 Coolant/Freon is full. Complete Air Mechanical of Central FL should be ashamed of themselves and should just sell used cars - they are dirty and dishonest! I’ll be cancelling my AHS as soon as I can too! If any questions to the validity of this just respond and I will provide copy of the invoice left with us. IF YOUR HOME WARRANTY ASSIGNS THEM ASK TO BE REASSIGNED. USING THEM WILL BE A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
