Someone comes every Monday morning and cleans the pool.  They add the chemicals that they supply and clean the filter. They do all the work and I get to enjoy my pool for the first time in years.  I am very pleases with my decision to use this company to maintain my pool.

Marty came to give us an estimate. He was professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The first crew came out at the date and time promised. They applied a bonding coat and removed the old tile. The new tile installation began the next day and it took a bit longer than they had anticipated. Weather played a part in this. The pavers were delivered exactly when they were expected. The following week, the paver crew worked extremely hard in unbearably hot conditions. As a result of their hard work, the pavers looked amazing! Thank you Rogario and crew! The pool was then refinished with Diamond Brite. They even did this on a Saturday to stay on schedule! Today, the pool was set up with the proper chemicals and cleaned. The guys even replaced our heavy ceramic statue back on the pavers for us. The whole process took two weeks. We couldn't be happier with the result! Thank you Blue Horizon Pools for a job well done!

They came on time and are very honest. They sent me the estimate promptly and gave me different options. They know what they are doing.

I wanted to install pavers for my patio and pool area. Consequently it is very important to hire a company which provides a "turnkey" solution; i.e. experienced in pool maintenance and masonary skills. Blue Horiizons meet and surpassed my expectations with regard to pool preparation, paver installation, and cleanup. Their employees are prompt, hardworking, and respectful of the owner's concerns. The end result is that I have a patio / pool area which I am proud of as a result of quality workmanship. I would highly recommend Blue Horizons as a trustworthy company with high work standards.

Called and they came out to write up an estimate. Made separate appointments to drain the pool, sandblast and prep the pool surface for resurfacing. They were very accommodating when it came to me using my own tile guy and especially polite given the way I needed the job (and timing) broken up to work within my schedule. Once the tile work was completed, they had all of the new surface materials delivered and the following morning had an excellent crew come in and complete the resurfacing job. It was a LONG day for the resurfacers, but they had a great attitude and were very polite. Another team came in to test/replace the broken pool light as well as giving me complete instructions on how to maintain my pool throughout the resurfacing process. On each occasion they were here, after the sandblasting and the resurfacing, they took great pains to clean up everything completely. Highly satisfied with every aspect of this job.

It went fine.  The pool looked 90% better after they finished.  One man did the job on a hot day and he did a fine job.

We noticed our pool was never clean and discovered that the original surface had started to breakdown so everything was sticking to it.  We contacted many companies for estimates and felt the most comfortable with Blue Horizon. The process could not have been easier!  The crews that came to do each step of the renovation were professional, friendly and knowledgeable.  They showed patience while I asked a bunch of questions and made sure I was happy with the process all along the way.  I love my "new pool" and have already recommended them to a friend.

They gave an estimate the same day they came out!  This was in sharp contrast to another company that I had come to give an estimate.  Everyone was easy to talk to and glad to answer any questions (sales, construction, and office staff).  We think it is a beautiful redo. I have been told by pool cleaner, that if there are footprints in the surface, we won't see them for a few years.  I did see the resurfacing crew wearing carpet squares on their shoes or just wearing socks.

Called to have them look at my pool to repair some issues.  They never showed up or returned calls.

We were having problems with air bubbles in the line and poor circulation.  He discovered that the problem was with the O-ring on the pump.  It was allowing air into the pump.  He replaced and lubricated it, which fixed the problem.  We also had a problem with the filter housing.  When we would remove the top to clean the filter, the rod that goes down through the center was coming unattached at the bottom, which made it very difficult to put back in.  He fixed the broken clip at the top, securely attached the rod at the bottom, so it would come unscrewed, and acid washed our filter.  He also showed my husband how he recommended the valves be set and relabeled the valves for us.  He was very pleasant and very helpful.  Because we don't have regular service from them, it took about a week to get someone to come.  They were behind schedule with their regular customers because of heavy rainstorms that week.  They were very good about keeping us updated on when they would be able to come.  I would definitely use them again.

Blue Horizon has been my go to company for pool issues since I found them here on Angie's List. A few months ago, they replaced my pool motor for me, and it appeared that it had already gone bad. (The motor would turn on, but wasn't actually doing anything) They were able to send someone out that day to take a look. He quickly determined that it was the casing around the motor that was cracked, gave me an estimate for the fix and went to work. The pool had actually lost a good amount of water from the leak, so he also set up the hose to start filling it back up. (After checking with me to make sure it would be monitored.)
The new casing is working great, and I've had no problems since then. This is typical of the prompt, professional service I've come to expect from Blue Horizon.
I also wanted to note in response to the "F" review I saw on here with regards to them giving someone a bad motor. I have no specific knowledge of that and can't comment on it directly, however, the person who replaced my motor was very upfront and direct with me - letting me know that all of the new motors they have, while cheaper, also don't tend to last as long as the older ones. (The one I was replacing had come with the house) I appreciated that directness, and have had no problems with the motor itself since having it installed.

This motor which was not new even though it was supposed to be new was rebuilt, spray painted black and had a tag slapped on it. It lasted 14 months and of course is out of warranty.
I never checked the condition of the install post-installation so shame on me but I will not use this company again based on this deceptive install.

I cannot say enough about how well the project went for me and how cooperative Blue Horizon employees were with any and all questions.  they welcomed my calls even though at time I felt I was being a bother to them, they we always very receptive and helpful.  I would definitely recommend Blue Horizon. 
The screen was installed by another contractor so the final coat of acrylic has not been done on the deck yet, but I have no worries that as soon as their schedule permits it will be beautifully done.

Resurface of pool went extremely well. As described, on time as promised.

It was easy to get an appointment. The representative was punctual and nice to deal with. He gave us good information and was able to give us a written estimate before he left the appointment. This company had the highest level of professionalism of the three companies we dealt with, but we did not hire them because the one we did hire had a more desirable solution to one of our concerns.

Day 1  -  worker called before arrival and was on time.  He started the draining of the pool.  After the level was down, 2 hours +-, he chipped off the old water line tile which was going to be replaced.  Any problem areas were addressed and fixed.   After preparing the surface there was an acid wash and bond kote was applied.
Day 2  -  tile people arrived on time and set the water line tile.
Day 3  -  the diamon brite team arrived on time and applied the diamon brite surface.  There was no mess and they cleaned up when they were finished.  After the finish set, another acid wash, the they started filling the pool.
Day 4  - pool filling
Day 5 -  pool filled and sitting
Day 6-  pool startup,  review of owner instructions,  questions answered
Day 7 - 
Day 8 -  chemical balance check and small leak in skimmer identified and fixed
Day 9 -
Day 10 -  final chemical balance check, review of owner responsibilities  open for swimming

I called for an estimate in November but the Holidays got in the way. They were very nice and said that they did not ordinarily come out to my area.  But they came out regardless.   Weather got nice in January so I called them back and arranged a date to have my pool and patio deck powerwashed and sealed. I have a travertine deck which needed special sealer.   They were on time and spent the morning  hours powerwashing.  It is quite a large area and was very dirty.  I had a section in the back area of the inside patio that had some tiles that were stained and discolored so they spent time to flip them over and show a better side.   The next day they came back after deck had dried and sealed the stones.  Did a great job.  I'm very pleased and I'll definitely use them if I need any other pool services.
