Excellent. The crew showed up on time, performed great, wonderful clean up, all at a fair price.

It went extremely well. They showed up on time. It seemed to take them a bit of time to get started when they got there, but wow, once they actually started working, they were fast and efficient. They were also cheerful and worked very well as a team. They cleaned up as they went shredding tree branches and cutting up the trunk into more manageable pieces to be hauled off later. Their price was the lowest of all the quotes we received, and they did what they said they would do and they did it quickly. They did NOT damage anything in the yard. None of the other trees or shrubbery were damaged at all. Watching them work was like watching a well-oiled machine. They were efficient and had a very good attitude.

I would highly recommend their service. Our sales rep was Chris and he was friendly and gave us a good price, and he came to the job in the morning himself to make sure everything was being set up right. They had even called the electric company to come and take down the power line that was running through the trees. The power company showed up in the morning as promised, and they came back right after Chris called them to say the job was done. All in all the power was out maybe 3 hours at the most. The other companies that we called for bids said the electric company would not come out and they'd have to work carefully around the power line (thus the much higher price).

All in all we are very happy with this company and would highly recommend them to friends, family, neighbors, and internet readers. Ask for Chris when you call. He was very friendly and not pushy at all like some sales reps can sometimes be. He did not try to frighten us (as some of the other companies did about the terrible things that could happen if we didn't get this done immediately, or if we used some other company).

We found A Sun State Trees to be professional, efficient, friendly, and a lot less expensive than other companies. Definitely 5-stars!

They trimmed every just as we talked about and cleaned up the mess in less than 2 hours with four guys working.  I would hire them again.

The first indication I had that there was going to be a problem with the company was that they left the house with almost half the work of trimming trees undone. I called a couple of days later to see when they were coming back and the woman I spoke to said they didn’t have a “ticket” on the property and they would check with my “Sales Representative”. After several conversations and some yelling I was finally put through to the owner who said nobody told him the job wasn’t finished and got the crew out there to finish the job trimming trees. They said the stump grinder would be there the next day to grind the stumps of the trees they had cut down earlier. Four days later I called to see where the stump grinder was and got nowhere. The next day I called again and got nowhere. The next day I called, started yelling into the phone and someone was sent out to grind the stumps. The problem was that nobody bothered to mark the locations of the stumps when they cut down the trees, so the stump grinder failed to find some of them. This left stumps hidden under the debris in the yard that stuck up just enough to catch the cutting blade of the mowing deck hanging under my John Deere and rip it off (a very expensive repair). They also left stumps that the grinder said were cut too tall for him to grind. So I gave up and cleared the bottles, pieces of rope and an old rake they left laying around my property and went on with my life.

Fast, efficient, and when additional stump grinding was required, Dave, the grinder, and Dee, the office contact, were quick to meet a tight schedule, and work with the people who were installing a fence where the trees had been removed. I can't say enough about Dee's quick response, and how easy Dave, and the rest of the team, were to work with. I had already paid for the services two weeks ago, so, like so may Florida companies, they could have left the job unfinished, or given me the run-around. Instead,they gave us excellent service. This is our second experience with A Sun State, in five years, and they continue to provide the excellent service and reasonable pricing we experienced the first time. The owner must be proud of how well his staff represents the company!

We had such a good experience with our tree removal from their sister company A Sun State Tree Service, that we chose to call Angelo again for our landscaping needs.  We discussed my needs and came up with a plan, while fully discussing the pros and cons of every part of it.  Within a few weeks, I had a beautiful green, lush lawn, complete with new plants, mulch, and a large, beautiful tree.  Neighbors and other contractors are constantly complimenting us on how good the lawn looks.  Can't get better than that!  I also love that Angelo took time out of his busy schedule to stop by the following week to see how everything was going and to make sure we were sufficiently watering everything so it could take root properly.  I love the personalized attention we received throughout the process and would happily recommend them to anyone needing any sort of landscape help!

Our point of contact, Angelo, was very prompt, walked the property with me to determine exactly what I wanted, and had a crew out there the following week to take care of everything.  The team was prompt, courteous, and got the job done in just a few hours.  The stump grinding was running behind, but was done approximately a week later.  We had such a good overall experience that we chose to contact their sister company Sod Express to totally landscape our large corner lot that looked like a beach.  Nothing but good things to say about both and I've already started recommending them to other investors I work with.

1. The salesman was here the same day we called to give estimate.
2. Workers were here very promptly on the day scheduled.
3. Workers were very polite and funny and exceptionally good at their jobs. 
4. Contact salesman sometime was unresponsive and even rude at time.
5. We were happy with the work done. 
6. A fence post was broken in the process because another fence panel should have been taken out in order to do the job.
7. Amazingly enough the screen pool enclosure was not damaged at all. 
8. Everyone was very professional and respectful except the estimator.  I think he has some health issues, but still is a bit too sarcastic for my taste. 

CAlled Sunstate and they are going to come out tomorrow(July 30) and repair the damages.  yeah!

The following week the leaves all fell off and I have been contacting them ever since. They have not responded to my emails, and calls. I got a hold of the owner after months, Randy and he never called or showed up to the appointment I made. I have never been treated so horribly or ignored before by a company. They do not care about customer service or their reputation.

I've been a loyal customer of "A Sun State Tree, Inc."  for many years.  I have never been disappointed with the tree service they provide.  The team that came to my home on June 11, 2015 was outstanding.  The team members are:  Eugene, Snoopy, Bobby, TJ, Lucas, and Andrew.  This team arrived on time as promised and did a remarkable job.  All the tress are beautifully trimmed. They even cleaned up the yard debris.  These guys functioned as a "well oiled machine"!!  I would recommend this company to anyone searching for professional tree trimming at a fair price.
