We have actually used Slaughter Plumbing twice, once to hook up a sink and more recently to install a new toilet. I was very happy that the plumber showed up in the time frame expected and that the charge was so reasonable. He cleaned up everything (took the old toilet away) and worked quickly. We are very happy with them and will use them for all our plumbing needs.

He was very pleasant but didn't wear covers on his shoes and left muddy footprints on the shower floor that I had to clean after he left.

One plumber worked two hours, said that he didn't have the parts, and made a mess. The part he needed was a simple "T" that you could buy at Home Depot. He spent the entire time trying to talk me into inspecting and suggesting other work they could do on the house to prevent future problems. He mentioned this 3 or 4 times. He gave me a card for a friend to clean the carpet, etc. When Jeff couldn't fix the problem, he called a second technician (Eric) who "fixed the leak"...but after Eric left the pipe was still leaking! Eric wrote not the bill, "Everything hooked up, the water is on. Nothing leaking at this time." Eric listened to music and was singing along while working, so I had to get his attention a couple of times to talk to him. The same pipe is still leaking. They both left trash/dirt on the floor and they never did the job correctly. I'm not calling them back ever again. I'll call a different plumber today.

I recommend them. I've always used them and they have always done a good job. They're always quick to respond. Their prices are average.

Removed old kitchen faucet, installed new.

Not good. I was not consulted on what sort of valves I wanted on the outside faucets. They used what they had, which are on/off valves, not adjustable flow ones. A different employee had to return to redo both toilet rebuilds, because they continued to leak, and provided disparaging comments on the quality of his co-workers. I've subsequently had to have one of the toilets rebuilt again, not by Slaughter, and have recently discovered that one of the shut off valves they supposedly fixed was not fixed. For the amount and quality of work done, the price was excessive.

We had to buy the shower door because they did not have it, but the price we spent on this work was very reasonable. They came on and time and gave us an estimate and scheduled the work. They told us that the tiling company was not done by them and they had to sub-contract it and they picked a good tiler. All in all we were very happy with it and the workmanship was very good. We got several estimates and the price the estimate they gave us was good.

Before repairing, Jim, the repair man, had to remove the temporary patch I applied. He did a great job.

He came out and stated the valve was not turned on. He confirmed it would start working today. He was very nice. He also replaced two shower valves.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB, WERE ON TIME AND FINISHED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
