It is a very nice salon. I think it has got recognition nationally for their quality and their service. They are always on time. They are always pleasant. Tina, the girl who cuts my hair, is fantastic. I am very pleased with them.

Did wait that long. They offered coffee, tea, soda and water after they took my name. They showed me how they clean the basins and utensils they use for pedicure which put me at ease. Diana was friendly and very professional at the same time.

This was an awesome experience all the way until the time my hair was actually cut. The salon is clean and sparkling. The hair stylists are professional. The shampoo was more of a scalp massage - the best ever. The hair stylist took the time to talk with me before she began cutting. We discussed the problems with my last hair cut elsewhere. And then she did exactly what I told her I did NOT want in this cut. It was the worse hair cut of my life. WAY too short. The sides aren't even. My hair doesn't blend - it's choppy. It's been 6 weeks and it's still too short to do anything with. Bad, bad, bad....

Really, it couldn't be any better. I have been coming to this salon for several years now and I wouldn't exactly describe myself as hypercritical but still, I've left salons before when a cut or color has been absolutely dismal.
I am almost always ecstatic about the results. The stylists listen intently to what you are saying and they are totally professional insofar as being clean, courteous and focused on customer service. It never lapses this professionalism and that is a pleasure in and of itself. I can totally relax with the knowledge they are listening and I don't have to be a customer vulture always watching that they do what I ask.
It's relaxing and, IMO, probably the best of the best that's available in this area. The mirror in your bathroom back home will show a beautiful result.

• Made the appointment on- line which was very easy. On-line they introduced me to my manicurist and gave me a little history of her work experience. When I arrived for my appointment, I did not have to wait any longer than a few minutes. The manicurist was very professional, but friendly. She did a very good job and I was very pleased with her work. Next winter when I return to the area, I will surely return for another manicure and add a pedicure.

Their atmosphere is clean. All the hairdressers there are very nice and professional. In addition, their service price is just within the normal range.

So far they have been super. I can't say anything that isn't excellent about them. I'm sure that I can get some of the things done slightly cheaper in other places but the differences in services are not worth in going somewhere else. They are good people who do manicures and pedicures. They are always clean. The people who work there are nice to each other, apart from being nice to me; which I value very much because there is no fighting or anything. The only complain that I have is that their background needs a little more hours. They just knock me off my feet. They are worth a trip across though I have them in my neighborhood and that's lucky for me.

They cut my hair right and did what I asked them to do.

My first experience with this salon in 2010 made me nervous because the hairdresser was so hard-sell about products, but I switched hairdressers within the salon for color and was happy enough to return several times. However I made the mistake of getting a cut in July which was dreadful. She said she cut herself and ran to the back, seemingly in tears (I didn't see any blood), and when she came back after 10 minutes started babbling about how cool the back of my hair would be. I went in with long hair and wanted a shoulder-length bob; instead I got a sharply angled Sassoon-type cut that was cut to the nape of my neck in back. WIhen she blew it dry and styled it it didn't look too bad but when I washed it myself you could see it was terribly uneven with random lengths hanging down the sides. I also have a cowlick, which I'd mentioned several times, and some of the back was cut so short that it now sticks straight up. Considering that I had made an extra-long appointment to get advice on styling it with finger curls when I airdry it since I work at home, I don't think anyone could imagine I wanted a severe sleek cut! Personally I think that either she slipped cutting the back of my hair when she cut herself, or perhaps didn't actually cut herself but slipped on my hair and ran to the back to get advice on how to 'sell' it to me. Now, these things happen, I suppose. But I was rather in shock. And when I called the next day, I was only offered an appointment to come in during my work hours and was told nothing else was available (even though they are open at night). I was not offered an alternative appointment, an alternative hairdresser, or a credit. I tried letting it grow out a bit which only makes it worse - i have these long side pieces that make me look like a Chasidic rabbi with sidecurls! - but when I called the salon to ask if anybody could help, I was not allowed to talk with anyone in management or anyone senior, only the receptionists, who said they were told to tell me that I would have to pay for any repair because I'd 'waited too long'. I have used their spa services and have probably spent close to $2000 there in the last couple of years, so if that's how they treat me, just because I thought they would revise a haircut for free or discount, be warned. And yes I am a very nice polite person - maybe too nice because I did not immediately scream and yell :-) I am not even blaming the person (Tina) who cut my hair, I think the unwillingness or unavailability of anyone in ownership or management to talk to customers is a real shortcoming at this salon.

I have been very happy with them - I have been really tickled with them. They have a good group of people in there. They listen to what I have to say. I have had problems with finding good salons in the area; they either think that I have to look like a great-grandmother or they have to give me the models that they are wearing right now, instead of listening to what I want. I do not think that there are good salons in the area. Salon West has got a whole list of stuff including massage, manicure and pedicure. They are good and they listen, and I think that is good. I have been in there for manicure and pedicure, which have been very good. The rest is cut, color and other services. They have got a spa too. I would not say that they are the cheapest people around, but before I go to somebody who is going to butcher my hair - and that has also been done - I would rather pay a little more and wait a little longer in between visits. I get what I pay for. They are very concerned about the health of my hair and are not trying to sell me the most recent product. They are extremely friendly in a real way. They are not just all smiles, and as soon as they have gotten my money, they don’t just rush me out the door. They remember who I am and what we talked about last time. It is not that I need therapy there, but it is just nice when they remember me. I find that pretty amazing. I am going again today; I guess I will be spending more today because I am getting color done.

It was a wonderful experience. They have very good customer service and the place looks nice. They treat you well and you get very good service. They are rather expensive, but I was very pleased with the results.
