I felt we were duped into buying $1700.00 worth of hardware, I looked up the retail prices of some of the components (Amazon.com) and learned I was billed $150.00 for each door sensor that sells on line for $49.00. I would guess ADT has good monitoring service but I could not sleep (really, I was so upset I did not sleep) due to the fact that in my opinion, I was overchaged for the system, and not just a little, but tripple what it sells for.

They refurbished the system completely. They did a good job and the price reasonable.

It went very well. He just had to replace two batteries, so it was a short visit. The quality of their work is excellent, and they are very responsive.

From the very beginning, Art (the sales representative) went out of his way to answer my questions and provide me with the information that I needed. He came to my house, and we had a long discussion about my options. He even offered to come back again to speak with my wife, who was not home at the time, to answer any questions that she might have. (This was in stark contrast to the other big alarm company who gave me zero personal contact and misled me about the differences between their system and the Brinks/Broadview system.) The installation went very smoothly, and the installer even helped me run some antenna wire through the crawlspace while he was here. He didn't need to do that, but it was a HUGE help to me. The day after the installation, Art called to check in to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. The next week, I called the Brinks/Broadview customer service line with some questions, and they were even friendly and helpful. Overall, I am very pleased with how professional they have been.

The salesman was awesome. He came to the house twice, techs came to analyze. Very professional and responsive. The actual install was kinda crappy. the guys doing the job were nice and professional but it was a huge job and they only sent one guy in the morning. he worked all day with no lunch and finally at around 4pm they finally sent 3 more guys to help. the system was supposed to be hardwired and they definitely cut corners with hiding the wiring. my house was old but there were areas they couldve run the wire in the attic but instead tacked it along the corners of the walls..i guess they did the best they could with the time allotted but if they sent more guys in the beginning the job wouldve been done right..not shotty. the system works great and i get great customer service . the workers atcually rewired a couple doors without charging me too. overall price is kinda high

He never tried to sell me something that I did not need. My understanding is they are available at anytime for questions or problems with the system.

I said no to Brinks and the $500 plus 39.99 monitoring per month for a wireless system controlling 7 entry points plus motion etc. Called Dynamark. They are installing this week an identical wireless system for $199 plus 29.95 per month monitoring. I am glad Brinks had no wireless systems on their truck.

I wanted to see how good their work was on my existing security system before I signed a Monitoring contract, so they refused to look at my Home Security system at all. They did say that they could fix my system, but would not come out until I greed to sign.

They did an excellent job. Everything was priced better than anybody else, and they ended up finding a problem during the installation, and they didn't charge extra for any extra time or services.

They came right out and checked things out. They installed the entire thing in one day and the work was exceptionally neat. They did a very good job. There was a lot of windows and doors.

I CALLED BRINKS AND THEY WERE ABEL TO COME OUT AND FIX THE ALARM SYSTEM. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR PRICE. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WITH BRINKS IS THAT THEY CALLED A FEW TOO MANY TIMES WHEN I SHOWED INTEREST IN THEM INSTALLING A NEW SYSTEM ON ANOTHER PROPERTY. I TOLD THEM I WOULD CALL THEM WHEN I WAS READY. OTHER THAN THAT, OVERALL, I GIVE THEM AN A.

As I am totally blind, finding equipment that is user-friendly is sometimes difficult. The representative not only found equipment that I could use, but took additional time to explain all features so that I could use the alarm independently by touch. I was very pleased and continue to be more than satisfied with the level of customer service to date. Cost is for installation.

Cost is per month. We are very happy with the service.

At the end of the day, I got the best value from Brinks, and I'm a happy customer, though it was a bumpy ride. Two technicians came out to look at our system and couldn't get the wiring to work, so they quoted us over $600 for a wireless system. However, eventually a competent technician came out who got the wiring to work, so the price ended up being much lower. Nevertheless, we had to endure 4 to 5 visits from them to get it all working. The first time I made an appointment, they never showed up; but they were punctual for all of the subsequent appointments.

Had them come out to give me an estimate, but they couldn't get the wiring to work. They quoted me over $1,000 to put in a wireless system. Brinks came out and got the wiring to work no problem. Whole system only ended up costing me about $100 from Brinks.

HORRENDOUS!!! Within the first month of service, the system broke and ADT can't come out and fix it. Two appointments have been cancelled without informing us. The Customer Relations Department does not return phone calls. We paid to have a home security system so we could feel safe in our home. We have now, $238 later, the same degree of security as we did before.

I found that the monitor for the alarm was wired into my home telephone line. The phone company told me that this was not supposed to be done and that a separate wire should have been run for monitoring. The monthly fee for monitoring seems high and they want you to test the system every month. If an alarm goes off, they don't call to see if everything is ok if you turn off the alarm. I would rather have them call me to check because someone could have broken in and forced the occupants to turn off the alarm.

BRINKS IS EASY TO WORK WITH. ANY CHANGES TO OUR ACCOUNT (CONTACT NUMBERS, BILLING, ETC). CAN ALL BE MANAGED THROUGH THEIR WEB SITE. THEY CAN EVEN AUTOMATICALLY BILL MY CREDIT CARD FOR MONTHLY MONITORING FEES. IT GIVES ME THE SECURITY I NEED FOR MY HOME WITHOUT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT ONE MORE BILL TO PAY!

TWO GENTLEMEN SHOWED UP PROMPTLY FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT, GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE, AND ACTUALLY TALKED ME OUT OF SOME SERVICES I THOUGHT I NEEDED THAT THEY FELT I DIDN'T. THE INSTALLER SHOWED UPON TIME, PERFORMED THE INSTALLATION, CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF, AND SHOWED ME HOW TO USE THE SYSTEM. ONE OF THE SALES REP'S CONTACTED ME THE NEXT WEEK JUST TO FOLLOW UP AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY. EXCELLENT.

Im VERY impressed with Brinks Home Security. Salesman was professional, prompt, and courteous. The installer (Shannon) was very professional. Outstanding work ethic. Very, very high quality work. Very knowledgable and clean too!
