Craig Chapman came to our home and estimated the cost of the project.. He also gave us a demonstration of his products showing remarkable results. We hired him for the job and he explained what would be done. He also told us when his men would arrive and the approx. time needed to complete the project. The day of the actual work two men arrived on time and were very respectful of our home. They never left the doors open when they had to go out to their truck and they worked quietly and neatly. We were extremely pleased with the results and our grout looks brand new. They made sure to go over the job with us before they left and told us to call the office if we had any questions at all. They also instructed us on when we could wash the grout and what to use on it. Great job. We were very happy with this process from beginning to end. Very professional company to deal with and they deserve the A on Angie's list.

Very nice people! On time and done what they said they would. Was honest with me. He could have made more work for himself but told me some things that I wanted done didn't need to be done. I watched the work being done and was very thorough. Cleaned and resealed every seam by hand. If I need any more tile work I will call The Groutsmith without a doubt. Thank you

The installer who did the work did an excellent job. My wife and I were highly satisfied with the way it turned out. I would recommend this companies to others. Installer and owner were very respectful and professional. They also have discount coupon for Angie's list members.

Craig and his team came a day before to prepare the concrete step.  They arrived promptly in the morning and moved the furniture and cleaned the tile and recolored the grout.  The cleaning and recoloring was done before noon.  Craig and his other worker took on the tiling of the outdoor step.  the project turned out wonderful and craig did a craftsman job.  the concrete was irregular and the installation required super effort by Craig and the worker to produce a perfect finish.  I would hire the Groutsmith again and recommend them with out reservation.

Matthew did the job, and he was very professional. He explained the whole process and showed me a sample of what it would look like so I could decide on the color. My grout color was splotchy and now it is perfectly even. My shower looks so much better. I highly recommend Groutsmith.

Everything went well.  The owner did the estimate and gave us an angies list discount. He informed us that he's going to have his son do the job.  To be honest, I was kind of nervous about that but the price was good so I let that go.  The owner's son arrived on time as scheduled and started working.  He had a friend help him intermittently.  I liked that the owner came in during both days to inspect his son's work and I had a chance to talk to him about the suggestion of putting the border on a part of the window too which his son did not realize.  He agreed and his son corrected it right away.  I can tell his son was still in training.  A few days after the project, a woman from the company left a message on my voicemail just to make sure everything is ok and to inform them of any problems if any.  I hope she reads this review because I never had a chance to call her back due to my work schedule. It was a good deal overall! I would hire them again.

Craig came by, spent time explaining what was needed and set up the work for the next day. Marshal came punctually, and began. He was very meticulous, detailed, complete and cleaned up as he went. He was courteous and respectful, made sure it was fine, and I was very impressed with the company, the work, the attitude and the cost. I felt it was very fair. I would definitely call them again.

Craig was very knowledgeable and explained in detail what the job would inclue.  The problem was Craig did not do the work and the team he sent to do the work was not well trained.  They had trouble laying the tile, they re-did the positioning several times.  The grout work was very messy, and once dried started coming up.   To his credit when we contacted Craig he did have his team come back and regrout the areas that needed it.  He also directed them to clean up the excess grout.  Later they came back and sealed the grout.    Now that it is all done, the job is fine but we did not have a good experience getting to the finished product.    After the team was gone we realized they had washed their equipment and poured backwash over our plants, which still have some grout residue on them.   Craig knows his stuff and seems motivated to provide high quality service; however, the men he employs to do the actual work seem much less motivated to provide the same quality work.

One of Craig's staff came out promptly at the scheduled time to do our grout job.   He cleaned all of the tile floors before applying the color sealer.   He was very professional and curteous and completed the job in less than 1 day.   He advised us how to clean and care for the grout in the future once he was done.   He left the areas clean when he left.

A big job estimated 3 days were done in 21/2 days. The tile in the shower and bath back splash looks band new after 15 years of use. Great job! Planning on having our other bathroom done by them and having them install a new kitchen back splash.

Very rarely it seems that we get a promise to do something seemingly improbable/impossible and actually have our expectations exceeded. These were two bathrooms with two-thirds of the walls covered with 15-plus year old tile [traditional medium size white]....in relatively good structural condition, but very dull with worn deteriorated grout. Mr. Chapman came the next day after my call and evaluated and quoted and promised that between his cleaning process and special mildew resistant/hardened grout the bathrooms' tile would look brand new. He was able to get the crew scheduled in within a couple of days and although indicating initially it would take two full days....the crew came in early one morning and worked non-stop until that evening and finished in just one day [the grout had to cure for five days before the showers could be used...he forewarned us ahead of time...it was fine]. The bathrooms looked TRUELY BRAND NEW!!! I could not believe my eyes... what would have cost me $2500-plus to retile with new only cost $700!!! I called family members over to look at the transformation....they were all amazed. With the cost savings I was able to add brand new plumbing fixtures and all new bathroom accessories as well as a new color/layer of paint for each of the two bathrooms and still came in at %50 of my original budget. I cannot give Mr. Chapman a strong enough endorsement/recommendation and bottom line "Thank You" for making such a big difference.

He then taught us how and why the damage happens and gave us tips on how to extend the life of the seal.  He also recommended what to use for personal showers and the shower cleaning tips.  He and his assistant worked rapidly and kept the bathroom clean.  Other than the restored grout, you could not ell that any work had been done.

Mostly it went very good but we had to have them come back and clean a few places they missed and grout 3 places they missed.  But it was no problem getting them to come back.

Completely satisfied with the work, attention to detail and professionalism.  All the workers (including owner) took the time necessary to insure the work was done with the highest quality of service.  They were on-time, clean and very hard workers.

Lein was timely and professional. Let me know each step in the process. Worked very hard even though he had to keep going out to his truck in the pouring rain. I was very satisfied.

Overall it went pretty good.  The gentlemen were very professional.  It looks much better than it was but the crack is still noticeable in some places more than others.  But, I guess when you are trying to repair a tile that is no longer made you either have to go with that or replace the whole house with new tile.  Still it was worth having done to make it less noticeable.

We recently bought a 16-year old home and the master shower needed some grouting and cleaning. They showed up on time for the estimate and on service day.  I feel bad, I forget his name, but he worked very diligently on the shower. When he finished, he called me in. WOW! I needed sunglasses! Fantastic job! Above and beyond! It is very obvious that he takes pride in his work. I would recommend The Groutsmith to anyone.

After finding on Angie's List, called for information and appointment. Instant response and appointment made for assessment on same day. Craig carefully explained options and offered his recommendation with estimate. We called several days later to contract for service and establish date for appointment. The crew arrived as scheduled, worked very heard and completed the work ahead of schedule. They were professional and did an excellent job. The tile floor was repaired and cleaned and looks like new. I highly recommend this company.

Perfection, a miracle.  40 years of Lutz well water removed.  Better than any chemical cleaning product.  Both baths look brand NEW, and compared to the cost of retile, practically no cost.  Well mannered, timely and professional, recommend to any and all people, especially those with iron rich well water.  Wonderful.
