"I will like to thank you for leaving this review. This job was done on April 18, 2019. The grass was replaced on the front and sidewalk of the property. Other jobs were done as well but the sod is the issue. Customer wanted it replaced because it was in bad shape due to it wasn’t taken care off the previous year. When sod is purchase it doesn’t come with warranty because once you lay it down is the customer responsibility to take care of it. I have all the conversation we had before and after job was completed and the customer was happy. This is the first time that I hear from the customer since April 18, 2019. The text came in on February 12, 2020 almost 10 months after. He sent me a picture that grass was a little yellow and he said that he checked the sprinklers and the grass was getting enough water. I asked if he water grass during the winter and if he was fertilizing the grass. He didn’t know what I was talking about. He said if grass needed to be fertilized and if he needed to water the sod more on winter. I told him to call a fertilizing company so they can look at it. Then the issue with the sprinkler. We remove some old overgrown shrubs that he had in a front flower bed. Before we removed it we showed him that those shrubs were planted underneath the sprinkler and the roots broke the line. Again the sprinklers were not working because the grass and plants were dead. Even though I don’t do sprinkler work, I felt bad and when to Home Depot and purchase the parts and tried to fixed sprinkler for him at no cost. Customer was happy and said that was going to make a good review for my company. Never got the review. I can’t be responsible for something I don’t have any control of it. Is sad that people can do this things to ruined a company reputation even when you are trying to help."
