From day one I reached out to this company and they said they could do the job. They initially told me I would have a proof within a week. It took 3 weeks for me to get it and I had to call and email them numerous times. I feel they pushed me to the back because I am a sole proprietor and didn't have multiple vehicles to wrap like some other business, even after I put 50 percent down. I am located in an upscale area in Tampa, and I told them they are the pros and I would like something classy and appropriate for my area. They said they know how to do it right and know how to draw business. The first proof I got had graffiti on it and I couldn't understand why they would put that on there considering my area. We finally agreed on something. They did one side in Black and White for the barber side. When they did it, it came out green. I told them about this and they said its normal. I have a client that is in printing and he said it definitely should not have come out green. I told them about this and they denied it and said it was because I was looking on my cell phone. They kept denying it and said I was stuck with it. Finally after I threatened to call my attorney they decided to change it and do it in color. They told me it would be done on a Monday and it wasn't and they said they needed more time. They never notified me of this and I even had to get a rental car. When I went to get the vehicle, they put a wrap on the front of my hood, which I told them I never wanted and was never approved on the proof. They said they wanted to do something extra for me, which I appreciated, but I never wanted. He suggested I drive it around and see if I like it. He then told me the wrap on the hood would peel and bubble and I could not understand why they would put it on there. They said I could bring it back when it happened and they would fix it for a small fee. They finally took the hood wrap off and they said it would take 1 day and it took four. The guy in the paint shop said they should have never given me a time-frame like that because it is a longer process since they don't do paint. When I got the vehicle back, it had fingerprints and rain spots on it from them rushing. Now, the wrap they put on the rest of the vehicle is pealing. I have had to take it back twice for them to fix it and it keeps peeling. The GM said I have cheap factory windows and they need to be replaced. I eventually told them I would like the whole wrap taken off my truck and 50% of my money back. I also wanted the sticker with their company name on it and the license plate border they put on, without my permission, taken off. Bill, who goes by Harry, the GM, would constantly lie to me and his son would try to work with me on things, but Harry always came in and blamed me, or my truck. It's a horrific situation and I have emails and photos of how un profession this company is and damages to my vehicle.

Various forms of this complaint with different story details and different demands have been repeated before, most recently with the BBB. As with most urban legends, there was a grain of truth from which many changing details have been added as the story is retold. This latest version contains untruths and misrepresentations of facts. The core of this issue is that a customer who represented himself as both a professional barber and a professional photographer hired LocalWraps to wrap their vehicle with different images on each side of their car, one side for the barbershop where he worked during the day and the other side for his photography business. He provided LocalWraps with photos he took of people whose hair he had cut for the barber side and different photos he had taken of other people for the photography business side of the vehicle. After much input from the member during the design process and many delays, he approved the proofs of the design and LocalWraps printed the wrap material and applied it to the vehicle. While accepting delivery of the completed vehicle he noticed he had neglected to clean the stubble off the necks of the people whose hair he had cut in the photos he provided to us. He later began to complain about the subtle colors used in the creation of the design, saying that when he approved the proofs, based on what he had seen on his small cell phone screen, he assumed the images were black and white. Despite the fact that he provided the defective photos and approved the proof of the design that was provided to him, LocalWraps agreed to fix the defects in his photos, redesign the entire barber shop side of the vehicle to change it from his previously approved "black and white" design to a full color design and to deinstall, reprint and reinstall the entire side of the vehicle, all at no charge to him. When he originally delivered the vehicle to LocalWraps, it was noted and discussed that the vehicle was mechanically and cosmetically substandard with many areas of unfinished body work, exposed primer, areas of missing clear coat and generally bad paint finish. He was advised that if, in the future, he decided to unwrap the vehicle it would most likely result in further harm to his already damaged paint. When we later unwrapped the hood at his request (which he admits we wrapped at no extra cost to him and which he appreciated at the time) as predicted, some small patches of clear coat were removed with the wrap, no paint was removed. Despite the fact that the hood was already in rough condition when we wrapped it, in yet another attempt to satisfy the customer, we agreed to have a body shop repaint the entire hood and provide a written warranty. In summary, some of the steps LocalWraps has already taken over the past year in our attempts to satisfy the member; all at no cost to him: Reduced the original full cost from $2500 to $1850 Retouched his defective art work to remove stubble from his photos Redesigned the wrap containing his defective art Added color to the previously black and white design Reprinted the side of the car containing his defective art Rewrapped the side of the car with our corrected art Rewrapped his windows three times Deinstalled the wrap from his hood Hired a nationally known body shop to repaint his hood Provided him with a warranty on the paint work Paid to have his repainted hood buffed to his satisfaction Provided valet service for his convenience Offered to address the sole remaining issue related to his window Perf.
