He was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable regarding servicing the A/C system. The problem was with the start gear and
he replaced it and had the unit up and running within 10 min. I would highly recommend them and will call on them again if the situation arises.
Technician (Joe) arrived within the time frame promised. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to determine the problem immediately and then discussed with me the repair procedure, cost, etc. J & L installed my unit approximately Three years ago. Joe and sometimes Shawn are the techs who usually service my AC. These guys are very pleasant to deal with as are everyone at this company I've had contact with. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends and neighbors.

I called another company who quickly repaired the small leak in the condensing coil and refilled the freon at no charge. Informed me that this would hold it long enough and possibly indefinitely until I could get the part delivered. New company gave me a quote for $450.00 for labor to replace the condensing coil.
J and L Air conditioning wanted to charge me a total of $1,188.00 for a pin hole leak in the condensing coil. Per the other company the leak was easily repairable.
Perhaps you get better service when purchasing new system for $5000.00 plus.
"J&L Air Conditioning strives for excellence and customer satisfaction on each and every contact we have with a customer. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations. However, here are the facts 1. Michael wasn't even there nor did the technician ever speak with him. All correspondence went thru Verna. 2. Your system was installed improperly, is oversized, installed by friend of a friend and was unpermitted. The Goodman unit should be a 3ton not a 3 1/2 ton. 3. Your leak was in the condensing coil and the part was under warranty which was why we recommended to replace the coil while it is still under warranty since it's a limited warranty because the unit was never registered, so the unit only has a 5 year warranty and the unit is already 56 months old (stated by Goodman). 4. Verna was given options with pricing (A) recharge unit with R-22 (old refrigerant) and see how long it holds, not recommended (B) replace warranty coil while it is still under warranty, Labor, Travel, R-22 Freon, Dryer and materials are not under warranty Verna, went with option A because she wanted to shop price. 5. The $354 was for a $68 service call, $79 for a leak check and the remaining $207 was for the R-22 Freon. No options were chosen to patch the coil never stated that it couldn't be repaired. 6. A "pinhole leak" does not leak out in 2 days 7. In response to J&L's responsiveness and punctuality we were at your door within 90 mins of your call into the office and you chose option A. 8. J&L Air Conditioning has a satisfaction guarantee. J&L was not called until Sunday afternoon, by Michael. He spoke to the answering service and thought we were a friend or family member that could do the job cheaper like $450 or something. 9. J&L was not contacted till Monday morning to order the coil which was not in stock it was in Miami. The customer was notified and kept informed of this. 10. For someone to be $400 less almost 1/2 the cost I would guarantee that they did not give new R-22, there was no filter dryer and the unit was not vacuum pumped down. If you call around in this area our prices are in line with all the other licensed bonded reputable A/C companies in our area."
The installation went very smoothly. The guys showed up on time. They were very professional, polite and went about the job
efficiently. If was apparent right away they were very skilled and knowledgeable. The system has work flawlessly since.
I BELIEVE THE JOB WENT EXTREMENLY WELL AS THEY ARE TRUE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.I 'M NOT DISSAPOINTED ON ANY OF THE JOB THEY DID.I GOT 4 ESTIMATE AND ALSO CHECKED ALL WITH BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND ALSO CHECKED ON THE SYSTEM THRU THE INTERNET TO CHECK SYSTEM THEY WHERE INSTALLING AND GOT SOME SURPRISES WHICH LED ME TO J and l
