Art diagnosed the problem by phone, ordered the new computer, but came by to check that it was really needed. It was, and he installed the new part the following day. He was on-time, professional, courteous and friendly. I'll call him again when needed.
My Double ovens are 15 years old. I use the top oven the most as it is more convenient for my height when removing items. The oven was no longer browning evenly and was taking a long time to heat and cook. Turkeys would take almost 2 hours longer than estimated cooking time based on weight. Scones and French fries would cook well on the left side of the oven.
Naturally, my microwave the buzzed and stop working, so I asked his to look at it also. No problem.
Called promptly, made appointment, arrived on time, professional and organized evaluations. Recalibrated my oven, checked temperatures with thermometer's. Cleaned after themselves, no messes. Oven works beautifully.
He then tested the microwave, which was not repairable. He offered to help find a replacement and install. He was not pushy nor did he insist on his services. In and out in no time. Efficient.
Installation went very well. We were also given instructions on how to open and close the refrigerator doors to try to make the new gaskets last longer. Who knew there was a preferred way to open and close the doors. Friendly and quick service.
Feel he is very honest in that he didn't come to the house and charge us for a service call, just to get the model number for the gaskets. This was handled all before he even came to the house.
