Petre and Daniel were our two movers. They called an hour before they were expected to arrive to let us know they were on their way. When they arrived they scouted the house to plan how to load the truck. They were efficient with moving. They didn't stand around and waste time at all. We bought them lunch and provided them with bottles of water, which they were grateful for. Overall, they were very pleasant.
The big rave I have is that my husband and I were looking everywhere for our TV plug. The day after we moved I received a call from the company stating that they found the plug and a key when cleaning the truck. I explained that we had family in town and asked if they could overnight it to us. But, they did better than that! They drove it to us. They are located an hour away and drove it to us the very next morning.
The customer service was impeccable, and we'd definitely recommend them and use them again (God forbid we ever move again).
We purchased a deal through Angie's List to move out most of our belongings when we bought a new home. Our plan was to leave furniture at the house we were selling to stage it. In our initial move we left some bedroom pieces, a living room set, a dining room set, a kitchen table, and some kitchen items, as well as wall hangings. The house sold in 3 days and we had to move out the remaining items within 2 weeks. Since I had just used Start Moving a few weeks prior and was thrilled with their service, I called them and set up another move date.
The move went off without a hitch and the team was fantastic. I do not plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did, I would contact Start Moving.

"We apologize for the damage on your move, unfortunately damages do occur sometimes, which is why we offer additional insurance on top of your basic $0.60/lb coverage. We are also sorry about the miscommunication, the damage was not notated on the paperwork when you signed the release of liability at the end of the job, therefore, the office was unaware it had occurred. We did cover the damage through the basic insurance policy."

"We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy about any part of your move, especially after the good feedbackwe were given upon completion of the move. We know the dolly in question is back at the old house and was put back in the garage at the first location before we ever went to unload the furniture because we knew it was the neighbors dolly. After the move was complete, the golf cart was inspected by the client and no damages were noticed at the time. The reason we have the client sign a release of liability before we leave is because as weeks go by, anything could happen to your items when we are not around and we cannot be held responsible after we leave. We did compromise and sent out a $50 refund but if our client is still not happy, neither are we and we are very sorry there isn't anything we can do to make this move perfect."

I had packed most of our belongings and had them in the garage. There were 3 guys who worked hard all morning. Apparently they were not able to take a break, because when I asked if there were going to stop for lunch after loading, they wouldn't do so without my permission. They loaded a 24 foot truck almost to the ceiling within about 2.5 to 3 hours.
They did a great job but did get tired toward the end and, although I was pleased with their work, obviously just wanted to be done. I can't blame them.
I would use them again and was happy overall with services.

"We apologize if there were any issues with your move. We did schedule you for an arrival WINDOW of between 8-10am. The guys arrived at your location at 9:12 am which is within the time frame you were scheduled for. I apologize that they did not have the packing materials, but they did offer to get them and you declined, as you had enough materials to finish the job already. The men only asked if you wanted to help with the packing because they were worried that you were concerned about the time because you were paying by the hour. I apologize if they asked too many questions, but is important to us that we are doing exactly what the customer wants, and in order to find that out, they must ask questions. Please know that we were not trying to be rude or make you do the work, they just wanted to be clear on what you wanted done because in the beginning, you had mentioned that you only wanted to pay for a certain number of hours."
