Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Lakeland

I used this company once before. It was satisfactory so I decided to use them again. Yesterday, at 6:15am, I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing regarding an emergency broken pipe in my front yard. The dispatcher told me they would send someone out as an urgent call. Then she informed me it could be between 8am and 12pm. I again informed her that the emergency was that water could possibly come into my home. She told me yes; she would mark the call as urgent. I then called Polk County utilities to shut off my water. They arrived at 8:20am and was able to turn off the water. I was patiently waiting for Benjamin Franklin to arrive and at 11:30am I received a call saying that now no one could be here till 3PM. I then said I would go to a Dr. Appointment I had and would be back before the 3PM appointment. At 3:30pm, I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing, and they now told me I would have to wait till 6pm. I said to the dispatcher I been waiting just about 12 hour I cancelled the call.

The service was great and the plumber was kind and professional, Thank You.

The lady I made the appointment with said we would not have to pay the $89 If they could not fix the issue. They could not and we lost a tenant/income because they were upset we had to call a 3rd person. we were still asked to pay the $89 service fee. The young service rep who came out said he did not have any experience with that brand. He also kept looking at my girls if you know what I mean:( ugh.

Jose came out, gave estimate and fixed the issue. Also gave suggestions for maintenance and prevention for our system, and Identified an AC issue. Very thorough and explained everything. Cleaned up after work was complete and respectful of our property. Highly recommend.

Very considerate and went through every option and my budget so I would understand.

They did a great job for a quarter of the price that I was quoted by another company. The other company was trying to do more work than we actually needed and charge us like 1500 dollars but luckily I found Benjamin Franklin and they fixed our problem, and quickly! Also, for only like a fraction of the price the other company quoted!

The office gave me a 3 hour window for arrival and kept me advised of delays. My tech did arrive by the end of the 3 hour window and it took 2 hours to get my kitchen drains unclogged! So glad they were able to get the job done! I did some minor cleaning up after the job was completed. Yes, it was an expensive job but now I feel safe and I can use my dishwasher without any problems!

The guys showed up on time and diagnosed the problem within minutes. Felt the cost of the repair was expensive, but they did a great job!

Pricier than others, but at least they showed up and fixed the drippy facet and the wobbly toilet. Another Co. (unfortunately I donâ t remember the name of) was supposed to show up for an estimate, and never showed up. They were supposed to be here by 3 PM. I wasted a morning & afternoon waiting for them.

The two men showed up on time. They spent less than five minutes analyzing the problem. They explained the charges and the new membership plans offered by Benjamine Franklin. We joined after which they spent approximately twenty minutes completing the repairs. They were courteous, friendly, and professional. We are pleased with the results! Joe M.

I feel like I was price gouged because I was a woman without knowledge regarding plumbing. I paid over $800 for the gentleman to change a cracked pvc pipe and change the tank/flap on the toilet. First the guy told me $1395. After my neighbor came over and told me to call the company that service my irrigation system he called the office and it went from $1395 to $813. I took pictures what was fixed showed another professional and was told it shouldn't have cost me more than a couple hundred dollars. The gentleman was pleasant but most con artist are. The work was done very quickly. It took maybe an hour to complete the job. $800 an hour I'm clearly in the wrong line of business...
