They came 3 or 4 business days after my initial phone contact. The young man came out to the house and beagn a thorough search for the leak. He detected one cracked pipe to a pool outlet and a leak around a skimmer opening. He hustled, no complaint.

no can fix the leak but they give the pool company that referred me to Rhino the first shot at quoting the repair. Then I'm to call Rhino back to see what their price will be for repair. Then I can choose. With no one wanting to step on each other's toes I assumed their repair was no different in cost so I went with the pool compnay because they could now know more about my pool and when I use them in the future I assume there will be no issues with the repair work because they'll lose all future work that any pool requires over time. To repair the pool was an additional $725 for a total of $1125 to find and repair the leak.

I noticed I was losing a lot of water and found Red Rhino through Angie's List. I called, and they came out within a couple of days to locate the leak; it took a couple of hours but the pool tech found it in a return line below the pool deck. I scheduled a repair, and they were here within two days. It was more of a problem than he originally thought, but it didn't changed the quoted price. He finished by cleaning up the place thoroughly; I had planned to paint the deck anyway, so he patched the hole to match the deck as closely as possible. Everyone involved, from the person who answered the phone, to the guy who made the repair, was excellent.
Ironically, the guy who cleans my pool called right as the repair was being completed; he asked how Red Rhino had done; I told him they did an excellent job. I put the repair tech on the phone, and Red Rhino got a new customer based on that conversation.
Note to readers - if you need a repair, schedule it on the day the leak is detected; you get a discount on the repair. Also, don't forget to use Angie's coupon; another great discount.
I hope my pool never leaks again but, if it does, I'll be calling Red Rhino.

Daniel spent two hours to detect five leaks in our pool. He did a temporary repair and it's working great! He also gave an estimate for a "long term solution." He was punctual, professional, friendly and knowledgable. I was really impressed. They really know what they are doing!

For all of those who are skeptical of these reviews please see mine, as I am usually skeptical myself. This company is the real deal! First, a technician came over to identify the leak. Within 60 minutes he found one under my skimmer. After completing a full analysis he cleaned up and set an appointment for 10 days later. (These guys are really good and it shows that they have a lot of jobs to do between the detection and the fix) On the 24th another specialist came out and started removing my pavers. He took them out like a puzzle and was sure not to alter their sequence. It was a nice touch. He had to go down about three feet as my pipes were really down there. He located the leak, cut out all the pipes and did a fantastic job replacing them. Not only did he fill in the hole and put the pavers back, but it looks much better now than it did before. The pool looks to be in good shape now and no leaks are noticeable. The price they quoted was already on the invoice and I could not be happier. Thanks for a fantastic experience guys

Very prompt. Contacted them and within several days they were at house determining why my water bill jumped from $35.00 per months to $330.00.
Pool detector equipment found 3 leaks, leaks repaired, next months water bill back down to mid thirties. Life is great!!!

He told me beforehand what the price would be and he honored that price when he came back out. They were very easy to get hold off. He left the water running in the pool as per our discussion beforehand because the pool had to be drain so that it can be fixed. They were in contact with me, they let me know if they were there and when they left. I got follow up calls afterwards. They were good.

They were wonderful. They came out when they said they would. Everything that they quoted me on was accurate and precise. They were here on time to do the job and I would definitely recommend them. I called Red Rhino and scheduled my appointment. One thing that I noticed was that the office personnel were polite and courteous in their dealings with me. I found their pricing to be slightly higher than some of the estimates I received but I went with them because Red Rhino seemed like a legitimate operation. Daniel, the tech, showed up for the leak detection and was also as professional as the ladies I spoke to on the phone. He took about two hours to complete the job and told me that he did find a leak but it was not in the skimmer but rather near my main drain. He explained the problem thoroughly and gave me an estimate for the repairs but was not pushy or aggressive. He cleaned up after himself and left my back yard exactly how he found it. I can't overstate how pleased I am with this company.

Red Rhino was the third company that we called out to find our leak. They were very thorough. And, best of all, did find a couple of leaks (at last). The service tech used all kinds of equipment and got in the pool with a mask to inspect all surfaces. It wasn't as inexpensive as the first two leak detection company--but they didn't get the job done. Don't hesitate to hire this firm.

I had noticed an abnormal loss of water from my in ground pool last year. I contacted a different leak detection service at the time and they went into the pool but were not able to find a leak. This year the water loss was increasing and my pool dropped 14 inches in December. I contacted Red Rhino and they were able to come out to do the leak detection within a couple days. Steyn and his team mate spent over two hours doing a very thorough check of the pool equipment, solar heater and inside of the pool for leaks. They determined that there was a leak in the skimmer throat and in the main drain of the pool. Temporary fixes were applied to both and they recommended permanent fixes to both areas. They provided photo documentation and an estimate of $350 for the skimmer repair and $750 for the main drain repair with a $100 credit from an Angie's List coupon. The charge for the detection was $295 . On Jan.13 they returned to make the repairs. They drained my pool and completed of the repairs by noon. The main drain repair required checking the water tables, making a cut around the drain, chipping out around the main drain, filling the area with hydraulic cement, and repairing the pool floor where they cut around the drain. Since I have a Diamond Brite finish, I was concerned with how this repair would look. I was very happy with the drain repair and it is almost a perfect match. When the repairs were complete, the pool area was left neat and clean. I filled the pool the next day and there has not been any water loss at all. I could not be more pleased with the services Red Rhino provided. At first I thought the cost of the repairs might be a little high, but after seeing the quality of the work and the expertise of Steyn's team, I think it was well worth it. I highly recommend Red Rhino.

Red Rhino came out and located the leak in our spa pool within an hour. They quoted me the price for the repair, and scheduled the repair for the following Monday. They arrived on time, repaired the leak quickly and pressure tested the system to make sure no other leaks were present. Then everything was returned where they had dug (pavers, etc.) and cleaned up. They make sure the pool was in working order before they left. They were very professional and did the job they promised on time and on budget. I would definitely use them again for any pool related repair issues.

These guys are great. They came when they said they would and did what they said they would do. The diver came out one day, found the leaks and applied a temporary patch. The office, within the hour sent me a estimate detailing what they found (including pictures) and what additional work would be needed (very professional) along with a schedule (when and how long). The supervisor called later and explained things in more detail.
We did not have all the work done as the pool seems to be holding but if we do we will certainly call these folks.....

A Leak Solution was hired after my pool service company spent practically the entire summer trying to figure out where my leak was occurring. We were losing over an inch a day. They insisted it was coming from the spa, but needed to tear out the tiles and coping to determine the exact location. This seemed absurd to me as they told me they pressure tested and there was no loss of pressure in the pipes.
I declined to have them poke around and hired a Leak Solution. They arrived on time and the technician was extremely polite, knowledgeable about the task and efficient. This company has all the needed equipment to find the leak that day. They did not have to try this and try that until you were ready to pull your hair out. They got the job done in a couple of hours and patched the hole which was NO WHERE near where the first company thought it was.
I told them I wanted to wait a couple of days to see if the water stopped leaking before going ahead with the permanent repair.
After three days the water level did not change and I have hired them to finish the repair.
I would recommend them to anyone. A great service.

they were great! right on time, ruled out a lot of my concerns like the underground pipes and a venturi valve that was fixed twice in the past. my regular pool guy tried to find and fix the problem all summer and then some. all i did was keep adding water. thats when i joined angies list and found this outfit. its been a week now and my level is holding, i was losing about 4 inches a week. nice job guys.

The service man did a thorogh job of looking for any leaks and repairing the ones he found.
The company indicated the main drain of the pool needed to be replaced and quoted a price of $1,300 dollars to do that "permanent fix".
Because our diamond bright was 15 years old and in need of replacement, I did not use this vendor for the repair.
Instead I used Cliff's Pools of Plantation to replace our diamond brite and repair the leaky sump. I am very pleased with the diamond brite job and the pool looks fantastic now. We also installed LED multi-colored lighting in the pool which greatly enhances our enjoyment of the pool. Two months have passed with no further leaks.

The service turned out well. They had a lot of high-tech technology. The service was very pricey however.
