Papa's Plumbing

Wow! I called because my garbage disposal was stuck -- a plastic measuring spoon had broken in two and the flat end was wedged inside the disposal such that it wouldn't turn. I called Papa's and they were willing to come out the same day, however, the gentleman I spoke to suggested that if I went to Home Depot and purchased an Allen Wrench specifically designed for my unit, I'd be able to make the repair myself. I was skeptical, but did what he suggested and it worked. I then called him back to cancel the appointment and he walked me through a few additional steps to ensure that my unit was working properly. Wonderful service and exactly the right approach since of course I will call these guys when I have a big job I can't do myself.

They are the best! I have used them many times and trust them completely..They are on time, nest and efficient. I'd be lost without their services.

I engaged Papa’s Plumbing for the first time on February 18, 2014. I needed a leaking out-side hose bib replaced. I also needed a leaking refrigerator ice maker water line fixed. When I made the appointment (on the 17th) I was told to expect Mike or Chris between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Mike phoned at 8:48am to confirm coming within 20 minutes. 10 minutes later he was at the house. Can’t beat that for promptness! As to the work performed it appeared to be done in a workmanship manner without leaving the usual mess that plumbers sometimes leave. The two leaks appeared to be dry. Of course, if over the next 36 to 72 hours something fails, I will have to amend this review. If nothing is posted between now and February 22, 2014 you can assume all was okay. I would definitely recommend and use Papa’s Plumbing again.

They responded to my initial request very quickly. We set an appointment and the technician showed up on time. Technician was very professional and prompt did all the work as promised would definitely use again.

It went very well. They were very professional and very prompt. They were courteous and they knew their stuff. I would recommend them to other people. Also, their prices are very reasonable.

The nicest part of this was dealing with Ed (Papa). He took me seriously, went to the extra trouble to order exactly what I wanted. That alone will make Papa's Plumbing my plumbers from now on, I really appreciate that high level of customer service.. Chris and Andrew did an excellent job with the installation too. I was very pleased.

Two cordial, professional men arrived fairly early in the time "window" I had been given. The charge was the base charge for a visit, plus a small amount for parts. I was very pleased.

Chris was simply the best.

When I called Papas Plumbing on Friday to schedule the work, I was told they would be there between 10 and 2 the following Tuesday. (This was fine since it is was new sink hookup. If it was an emergency I have no doubt they would have come immediately.) On the day of the appointment I received a call at 8:30 asking if they could come early! When the plumber arrived he not only performed the installation but also suggested the best placement of the water filter to allow easy changing of the filter canister in the future.
I would highly recommend Papas Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing work and will call them the next time I need any work done.

MIKE GAVE US GOOD SERVICE WITH A SMILE. HE INSTALLED THREE NEW FAUCETS THAT I PROVIDED. HE REVAMPED ALL THE PLUMBING UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK (PLUS THE FAUCET),REPLACED 3 VALVES AND THE FAUCET IN THE MAIN BATH AND THEN INSTALLED THE 3RD FAUCET AND SOME PIPE IN THE HALF BATH. GAVE A NICE UPGRADE TO THIS 46 YEAR OLD HOME.

They did a good job, it was a good experience. The guy had to go in and use a new brand to correct the problem. He gave us a solution to our problem on the spot. He gave me the decision to go ahead and do it or not. The problem was fixed.I thought the fee was expensive.

I called at 9:00 AM requesting service and was informed that I could be worked into the schedule for that day, between 10:00 and 12:00. A plumber called me at 10:30 and said that he would arrive around 11:00. Almost exactly at 11:00 the plumber arrived. Very courteous and professional. Within one hour, he and quot;snakedand quot; the line and the kitchen sink was clog-free. Also, very clean. By 12:00 he had finished the work and there was no evidence that there was ever a problem - floor, sink etc were spotless. Great company - glad I went on Angie's list and found them!

They were prompt. They did a good job cleaning. They do it for a good price.

The plumber--Mike--arrived when promised and promptly installed the new kitchen faucet. In the process he pointed out the leaking valves for hot and cold water. I had noticed earlier when shutting off the water to the broken kitchen faucet. There was no pressure to replace and he gave me a quote to replace the valves. I asked him if he could look at another issue--the utility room faucets. He called his dispatcher to see if could adjust his schedule to make these repairs. He knew exactly what I needed and replumbed the pipes and added the shutoff valves. Mike was friendly and professional and left the work areas just as he found them.

Great. Called them on Saturday and came by within 2 hours. Very nice.

Papa's Plumbing came to fix the problem and was very professional. They had to come the second time but my tenant who was supposed to be there for Papa's to finish the job did not inform Papa about change in her schedule. Needless to say Papa incurred a loss as my tenant was a no-show. I spoke with the owner to rectify the situation. He could have charged me extra since we needed to reschedule but he didn't...that's what I call Total Customer Service :) Papa was very reasonable in price, professional AND very considerate . I will recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing service...and to the owner, thank you so much ;)

Our toilet would leak water back into the tank and make a loud hissing noise throughout the day and night. The plumber replaced
some of the parts inside the tank. That solved the problem. Thank you!

My experience with Papa's Plumbing was superior. They were punctual and did great work. They were 2 of the neatest
service people we've ever used. Very efficient, polite and experienced would be a good description for Chris and Mike.

I'll definitely recommend them as well as use them for our condo again.

He called in advance to tell me he was on his way, and when he arrived he assessed the problem quickly, explained what he had to do, and did it right away. I would definitely call him again.

8/1/13 - UPDATE: I went to use the shower handle and it broke on the 2nd use. I called Papas, left a message, then called the next day and the owner told me he didn't get my message. He told me I did not provide the proper part which I did. I gave him over to my husband and he finally agreed to send the guy back out today. He came out and told my husband that and quot;We broke it when we tried to repair the handle on our ownand quot; which is totally RIDICULOUS!. If we knew what to do, we would not have joined Angies List to get an expert. Apparently a piece of plastic is broke now which I have to locate myself now. This guy begged us to go on Angies List and write a raving review right after he came out on the first trip and now they are blaming us for the work. I
am back to square one and will look to find someone else who can help me fix this I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM and will NOT RECOMMEND in the future.

He was very quick in providing the initial quote. After I received the replacement parts from the manufacturer, I called him yesterday to set up an install date. He was able to come today and do the job when my husband was available. We received the Angie's List Discount. We are very happy with his prompt, professional service and quality install - GREAT JOB.!

This was a very pleasant experience, from booking the appt to the service call! The plumbing tech called to let me know he was on his way and arrived at the start of the time range provided. He was very friendly and polite. He also explained everything that he did and all the information relating to our new faucet. He was fast and efficient and cleaned up. The service was very reasonably priced! I am very happy to have a reliable plumbing service in Papa's Plumbing. Thanks Papa!!

They were so nice from the phone call making the appointment to them coming out to my house. Very Friendly and reasonably priced and did good work. Very honest and even helped me with a few more minor plumbing issues I had. This is my first home and it feels really good to know that I can call papas plumbing and not have to worry. I would use them again and would highly recommend them.
