I will never use them again. They had towed my car to the dealer a couple of times so when I swapped cars with my daughter I took her Tahoe in for tires. They are a preferred vendor for an auto repair rating service and they were an ASE certified repair shop according to them. They really ripped me off on the tires. When I went in there I told them I wanted the same exact tires because they were the big big tires to make it set up nice and high. They ended up putting on the cheapest, crappiest, tiny tires and charged me an arm and a leg. When I went there I said there is something not right. I told them look at all this space. Oh I see you put on these little tiny tires and they are cheapo tires. I picked up the car on my way to work and I paid the bill. After I got to work I called them and told them that I wanted these tires off my car and my money back. I took it somewhere else the next morning and had them put tires on of the appropriate size and took the cheapo tires back to D & D and I said here. They weren't even open for business but there happened to be a guy delivering a towed in vehicle. I said take these tires out of my truck. I don't care if they're not open or not. I don't want to ever come here again. Whenever they come to the house when I had a dead battery or flat tire they were very good and that's why I decided to give them a chance at their facility. It was some ridiculous price for the cheapest tires you could ever buy. I got all my money back. When you go in there, the place reeks of cigarette smoke. They are real down and dirty gear heads and love working on cars. The guy that runs the shop was very nice and gave me every penny back. The technician that worked on the car was a jerk.

D&D is a AAA towing and repair shop which uses standard shop rates and standard times to perform the repairs. The tow truck driver was polite, professional and efficient. My repair was complex involving debugging some interlocking electronics on a vehicle (my Florida car) which is 10 years old and stays here year round.
I stopped by the shop to see how repairs were progressing. The facility is clean, well equipped and well maintained. The owner and the staff were all friendly, professional and polite. They made an extra effort to get my car out so that I would have it for the holiday.
I checked their estimate by having them fax it back to my shop in Minnesota and my home shop confirmed it to be both on standard and at standard shop rates. D&D graciously did the faxing from their own office providing me with a proof of fax transmittal.
The owner and the shop are well regarded by AAA and the local business community as evidenced by the numerous awards they have received over the years and these are posted in the shop waiting area.
I liked these people and will be returning my car for an overall inspection and preventive maintenance.
In summary: good work, nice people and fair price.

They repaired my car in a professional manner. The quality of their work is excellent and it was done in a timely fashion. I have had work done here for a few years on all my cars and they have never let me down. You bet I'll go back.

The radiator replacement was done (I assume) competently, as we've had no issues with it since then (several months ago). The problem is with the a/c repair on the yukon. Several months ago, the a/c went out on the yukon (following several weeks of a strange noise), and since we had just completed the cr-v repair with Dand D, and we were new to the area, we decided to take the yukon there as well. A belt had broken, which they replaced, and we picked the car up. The a/c worked, but within days the noise started up again. The a/c stopped working again on 8/11, and when my husband contacted Dand D, they told us to bring it by on Monday. They replaced the belt (again), and we went to pick up the vehicle, but within 2 minutes of leaving the facility, the a/c quit again. We couldn't turn around, because we were late to an appointment, so my husband brought it back there this morning. The belt had broken again, but now they decided that we needed a new compressor - to the tune of $700. After having paid to get it fixed twice, we will not be having them do the work, as we don't trust that they will fix it correctly. They did re-replace what we had paid to have replaced yesterday, but we will not be going back.

They were professional and very prompt, and the work went very well. I did not spend anything because they were sent. They were excellent overall, and I would rate them highly.
