Services we don't offer
I do FREE ESTIMATES only when home owners are at home and will be present when I show up to coordinate with them about any detail.. I do not offer any free estimate if they are away so it's not the idea for me to drop any written estimate at the mail box or wherever. I do not offer to be O'CLOCK at any estimate unless you are the first. This is not an office and sometimes "little" estimates turn into big ones because a customer change his mind and decide to get more services. No way to say NO.

"Thank u very much for your review Mrs. [Member Name Removed] but i am not Alan....lol. My name is Ivan. I was very pleased to do business with u. Unfortunately i couldn`t do your job earlier cause i had to accomplish my schedule. ?"
"Mrs. [Member Name Removed]: As an Aluminum Specialty Contractor i am allow to build, repair, modificate and do everything about screen enclosures and some concrete jobs related to them. I have nothing to do with assembly and installation of grill gazebos. For sure i recomended you to make a concrete slab first for you to attach your gazebo because there`s no way for you to do it to the grass. But it didn`t mean i was including this assembly and installation in my proposal. I think you misunderstood what i told you. I had a helper that could do that job but you had to coordinate with him directly to get an agreement and not for free. I`ve just noticed he didn`t remove the 4 wood framing of the slab as i indicated him to do it because i had to travel. I will call you this week to do it. Starting July this helper does not work with me anymore and i am going to write again what i put in my proposal: “Remove and dump an area of 6’ x 8’ of grass and then make a regular 4” slab of 6’ x 8’ next to the property line fence”. This is not an unfinished work and for sure a partial refund is not applicable. Also you do not mention all your deposits and payments were late. So “wide” for you and “narrow” for me. Not a problem. Hopefully i got so many distinguished customers that really appreciate my work and i am very grateful with them. Thanks anyway."
"Thank you very much sir for your review. I will be always ready to assist you whenever you need it."
"Thank you very much sir for your review. Just give me a call and i will be ready to assist you."
"I appreciate very much for your comment sir and the idea is only one: provide excellence on every job."
The framework was already dated and initial signs of the paint peeling and oxidation were starting to become visible. So ultimately, if I was to have the work done, I wanted it done RIGHT the FIRST time. We negotiated a price that we both thought to be fair to both of us and he was very good about explaining the process; the role of a painter and his specific role as well. Everything was done as promised and with ATD (ATTENTION TO DETAIL). So much was this the case that he called me on the last day of the job, to inform me that we had a problem. Of course, I was concerned and was expecting to hear of some misstep on his part or on the painters part. What in fact had happened, was that the tenant that I had renting the property, went out back into the patio area and carelessly painted some craft project with total disregard for the space and the fact that Ivan was doing his work.
Ivan was good enough to inform me of the mishap but he was regretful of the fact that this solid job that he had undertaken had been so haphazardly disregarded. You can tell he definitely takes pride in his work. I had my say with the tenant, to say the least...
EXCELLENT WORK by Ivan Alarcon!!
"Thank you very sir. Ready to assist you when you need it."
"I appreciate a lot for your review madam. No way to change my way. I will die being a perfectionist."
I received quotes for this same work (new gutters) from 3 other company's, all were Angies List "A" rated vendors. I eventually awarded the work to another vendor for a total cost of $1,076 (276' of seamless gutters, selection of colors, 6-year leak-free guaranty, work was performed in 4.5 hours by 2 men, a spotless job, including haul-away of old gutters, professionally completed). Two other vendors that I solicited quoted me $1,400 and $1,500 respectively for the same services, and one of those quoted $700 to reinstall my old gutters which I eventually chose not to do because the price for new gutters from the vendor I chose was only $376 more.
I cannot explain the dramatic price variation between the other bid proposals I received and the one from this company, but my experience does suggest you might do well to shop around.
"It’s very easy to understand why you got an “amazing” Price. If you think that 2 men in 4.5 hours are enough to install gutter sections of 50’ or 30’ and make it aligned, straight and with a properly pitch…probably when you notice water accumulations in your gutters later, you will find out how “spotless” was your job. What I do is reduce progressively the back edge of the gutters to get an automatic pitch when I install them and that’s a time consuming task. Respectfully we are not going to rediscover the gunpowder. The cheapest prices are never attached with good quality jobs. With this kind of point of view companies are rated “A” no matter if the jobs are really good. Anyway if you think a market miracle has happened in your case breaking a basic economical rule….good for you and good luck."
Otherwise, he showed up on time, did the job, was nice and it looks good.
Ivan did an excellent job, started and finished job when he said he would. Ivan was very professional and I'm pleased with the job.
I would use this company again and would refer it to others.
Ivan is a very professional owner. He did my patio and some window screen. He explained what he needed to do and why beforehand. Job completed on time and I am very happy with the result. Altough I got his service perhaps more than 6 months ago, II did not have any problem since then. I would definitely use his company in the future and recommend him everyone. Thank you so much Ivan.

"Thank you very much [member name removed] for your review but I’d like to comment 2 points about it. - If you think I work “slow” that’s not a problem for me. What I do know is that the rush is enemy of the perfection. And as you say, I am perfectionist. That’s my illness and I have no mid-point. I always work using the brain, applying the common sense, logic, expertise and intelligence to get the best result on what I am doing. I do it totally good or I don’t do it at all. If other companies work faster trying to be more profitable for sure that’s not my business and I do not care. What is more important for me are my customers. They have to be pleased and I will sleep nice and quiet. - I remember you told me the day I made the estimate for your enclosure, you were not going to get more quotes and I think that’s the reason you say you “feel” my price is high about 30%. Let me tell you I know the rates of my competition and as I told you I’m not the cheapest but I’m not the highest either. I could shake your enclosure with my arms and is because whoever company made it, they didn’t do it right. The columns didn’t have any angle brackets. I put double set of them. They used 2” screws to attach the enclosure to the ground (and the floor has 1” thickness pavers) and I put 3 ¼” tapcon screws on every point. The braces I installed were attach with through blots and not with simple screws. The additional pair of cables I installed were attached into the concrete and I had to correct the installation of yours. Columns were not attached with the principal beams with angle brackets. I installed them. So all the job I made is a very time-consuming task - and time is money. I can assure you paid for what you got. I am the contractor and I made the job. No inexpert crew did it like most of the sloppy companies. You did not pay for more of the same. Thanks again [member name removed]."
