 + -1 moreDerald personally came to give the quote and then returned Wednesday at exactly the time he said, with a second man. They removed the trees and started loading the debris, when I reminded him that it was ok to leave it until Friday, but he didn't want it looking bad, so they continued to clean up the cuttings. Friday again, he came exactly at the time he said he would, with his grinder. We found a couple more small stumps in our back yard and asked him what he would charge to grind them. He gave us a great price of another 50.00. The total for removing 3 trees and grinding 6 stumps was 400.00 which was fantastic. He is very conscientious and I plan on recommending him to anyone that requires tree work. We will also definately be using him in the future for other stumps, trees and spanish moss removal.
Description of Work: We spoke to Derald Smith (owner) and advised him that we were in a rush and needed a couple trees taken down before we could schedule our satellite service. He came out on the same day (Tuesday), checked the job and knowing the urgency and being booked up, he said that he would come out early the next morning and take the trees down if we would be able to wait until Friday for him to clear debris and grind the stumps. This was acceptable to us since we were going stir crazy and had the satellite service re-scheduled for Thursday. The initial quote was 300.00 for the two trees. I asked him if he would take a third tree and grind an additional stump for another 50.00. He agreed to do all for 350.00.
