We purchased a small guest house in our neighborhood from an estate after the house had been abandoned and squatters had moved in stripping the house of anything of value to include electrical wiring. We called Ace based on the advise of a neighbor. Steve Konigsberg came out, gave us a professional, up-front estimate for all work. Steve worked with us to develop a three phase plan that allowed us to divide the work up logically; this allowed us to pay for each stage of the work as it was completed. Steve was very detailed oriented, consulting us on everything from the color of our wall plates (he wanted to ensure his ivory plates matched our color scheme) to the position of our outlets in bathrooms and kitchens to ensure they met current code. My husband is an electrical engineer; he was very impressed with Steve's work; however, the company actually sent out a qualtiy control inspector after Steve finished his 2nd round of work. The inspector was also very professional; Ace provides this second set of eyes at no extra charge to ensure the quality meets their high standards for installation, safety and quality. No surprise, Steve passed on all counts. We will continue to use Ace for all of our home electrical needs. I think they are probably a little high in terms of price, but I am willing to pay the extra price for the high quality of their service.

It went well. He was professional and courteous and I would have him again to have work done. I bought the ceiling fan and the three light fixtures, and he was responsible for putting them in. He explained to me what to expect from this job.

They were very professional to work with, they were on time and very prompt. I would recommend them to others and I would use them again. They were very respectful.

The company always tries to send me the same man which is nice because he knows my house. We trust him. He is reliable, punctual and a very nice man. Plus he gave me a $25 discount. I would recommend him to my friends.

They did a good job but I felt that they were a little expensive. They were fast, efficient and very courteous to me. They are very knowledgeable and very professional and I would recommend them to everybody.

They said a copper contact that connects to the light bulb was broken and I would have to get a new one. I paid them for the service call and the $179 for a whole new fixture. He told me I could keep the other part as a spare, so I wondered why I even needed a new one. I took a screwdriver and bent it back into shape and it worked just fine. I didn't need a new fixture and he charged me for a new one anyway. I will not use them again and I would not recommend them.

Three hours late. The service tech, Kevin, was much too busy answering his pager/cell phone, to listen to what my husband had to say. ACE wanted to charge $367 to replace the switch. Then to replace one security lights, an additional $389 (may have included the fixture, I don't know). There was an additional charge of $99 for I don't know what, for a total of $875 (not including taxes but including service call of $69). We had the work done by another local, well known electric service company for $303. Husband did buy 2 security lights at $80 total. The $303 figure includes the installation of them, plus the switch, which took about 15 minutes to fix, but not the taxes. In all fairness, I must add that when he complained to ACE, the service manager refunded the service fee ($69), which my husband had paid.

Damien the electrician was on time, professional dressed and very pleasant to work with. Prices were reasonable for the work done. This company will be my first choice for any future electrical work.

I called Ace for help in the PM. Based upon fee for after-hour call, I declined immediate service. She said she would put me top of list and call me the next morning. When I did not get a prompt call, I called. They apparently had misplaced info. They told me when a tech would be available. Ace's tech arrived when stated and was very polite. He attempted to reset my 25+ year old breakers but couldn't and said they needed to be replaced. He verified prices and availabilty of 2 breakers by phone before he gave me the over $1,000 estimate. Said it would be another two days before he would be back...and sooner if possible. I called next day to cancel order and said that I had found cheaper price. They were very polite and told me they would keep my deposit as full payment. When the other electrician reset the breakers, I called ACE back and informed them that breakers apparently never needed replacing. Seemed surprised at news but did not offer a refund and I didn't ask for one.

They wanted an up front fee to coming out and giving an estimate. I asked if they would give a ball park price before coming out, and they said no. They came out and quoted $2200 and said it would take 4-6 hours. This was all LABOR, and I asked if they were serious at charging $366 to $500 per hour for labor. I called and talked to Charlie, the boss, who said that they had a flat rate for doing this type of work. I asked why they did not just give me the price over the phone, and he could not answer. I asked them to leave and refused to pay their $69 estimate charge. I would not recommend and should have checked Angies s list first.

They were extremely overpriced. They were out for 2 hours, and the price was too high.

THEY DID GOOD WORK, BUT THEY HAVE WHAT THEY CALL UPFRONT PRICING. THEY ARE PRETTY HIGH ON PRICING. I PROBABLY WOULDN'T USE THEM AGAIN BECAUSE OF PRICING.
