"[member name removed] purchased our Big Deal and worked with one of our excellent long-term Expert Organizers. The session was for 3 hours, yet after about an hour and a half into the session [member name removed] advised the organizer that she felt that they were done and that she could take care of the rest on her own and that she just needed a jumpstart on the project. Our organizer thought this was odd as she had never had a client want to stop in the middle of a session, however she courteously finished up with what she was doing and left the clients home. From time to time we do have situations where the client and organizer are not a good fit for one another. In these cases our clients work with us to have another team member come out and work with them to complete their project and Wow the client with our exceptional service. Unfortunately, after several attempts to reconnect with the client we have still not received any communications back from [member name removed] except for this review which only has a letter grade with no text. Our goal is always to "Wow" our clients and make every effort to ensure their satisfaction. However, this is only possible when a client is prepared to communicate with us."

They came out to my scheduled appointment and charged me for service of which I had already paid Angie's List for. Also, the big deal mentioned a 20% discount on any additional organizing time within the same 3-6 hour session however they advised me they wouldnt give me the discount and that I needed to take it up with the office. I had paid for an extra hour but only got 35 minutes and not my full hour. I felt they were just so quick to leave that we couldnt even finished anything.

"As an organizing firm in business since 2006 we always welcome constructive feedback from our clients. For that we say thank you! The circumstances surrounding this project are unfortunate. Me In Order.com was running two deals at one time which proved to work against us in this instance. One of our deals included a 20% discount on hours billed beyond the initial 3 hours while the other deal did not. We were in the process of removing the 20% from the one deal so that there would not be any confusion, however, Angie's list was slow in getting this accomplished and our Expert Organizer did not receive the correct information from our home office. With all this back-story behind us - we never want to put our clients in the middle of our internal dealings so we did what we hope any reputable company would do and completely refunded the client for the additional time that our Expert Organizer spent with her. The client also mentioned that she did not get the full hour, so we were happy to provide her with the extra time that she did receive for free. We also refunded the client for the entire "double charge." After much discussion with our Expert Organizer and the client we are still not sure why the client did not mention that she had already paid for the service, but none the less we immediately refunded the double charge. We stand by our service with our money back guarantee. In this case we were prompt in refunding the client for the time that she was not completing satisfied with. We just spoke with the client and confirmed that she has received her refund. We also offered her an additional 3 hours with another one of our fabulous team members at a discounted rate since it appears that the Expert Organizer that was sent was not a good fit for her. Quite honestly, even after being in business for almost a decade we are still learning our way around working with clients that are not completely satisfied with our service. We have helped over 1000 of our South Florida neighbors create order and bring peace to their homes and I can count the unhappy clients with one hand so I guess we just haven't had that much practice."

he Angie's List The job was huge but we did get a lot done before the time was up - I think it was 3 hours. She was an absolute whirlwind. She got to work immediately after we had a short discussion about my goals. I can't remember what it cost but it was well worth it. I could have used them at least three more times but couldn't afford to pay their full rate. Their Angie's List rate was a deal!!

Went well. Kelly was very nice and professional, helped to keep me on track and moving along with the organizing so that decisions were made more quickly. It also helped to prioritize what's important, recognizing sentimental attachment is ok for a few things but not necessary for everything. She's very quick and focused.
Do's and Don'ts:
It's best to know your expectations and be realistic going into organizing a room. Knowing exactly want you want to have done and expressing that clearly will help. I failed to stress the one area I really wanted done compared to other things in the room, knowing how I wanted to use the space. So we ran out of time before getting to it- my fault really, so that's why I recommend thinking about it well before they get there and making it understood when they do.
Also do plan to do homework if you have a good amount of organizing you want done.
One last thing to keep in mind, when you remove items from a room that don't serve the purpose of the room but they are not items that should be tossed or recycled, i.e. things you do use, you will need to find a new place to put them since they did not get put back into the room. I wasn't quite prepared for that and had never seen it included in any reviews (probably since it is not a reflection of the performance of the vendor), so that is why I am mentioning it for the benefits of others. I imagine many of us who finally call to get help with organizing do so because we have an excess of things and nowhere to put them.
All in all - Me In Order did a good job in a friendly, helpful, and informative manner getting a lot accomplished in a small amount of time.

She hardly knew anything about office filing and I could hardly wait for her 3 hours to be up. She charged me $70 an hour; I paid her the money, then got a call from her and she told me how disorganized I was and how much I needed her help. I am handicapped, so I hired her because I can't reach to put things away. I certainly know if I could reach and put things away, I would know how to do it properly. She also had all kinds of things she was trying to sell me.

You hired me to help you with filing your paperwork in a filing system that you already had in place. I did not try to change your system as that is a system that works for you. In fact, when I work with clients in regards to their paper and their filing systems I always make sure that the system is best suited for them as they are the ones that will work with it on a daily basis. Again, I am sorry I did not meet your standards to filing your paperwork. You mentioned in your review that I was trying to sell you stuff you did not need. That is an interesting statement as we have a policy that our clients do not purchase anything as we try to utilize what they currently have. We do make specific recommendations if we think the client will benefit from a specific item but nothing more. We are an affiliate with one company, Scan Digital, and that is it. We do not make any commission off selling products to our clients, and we do not sell products! Another statement that you made was that in my follow up call I told you you were very disorganized. If I did say that and made you feel uncomfortable I truly apologize. I do not feel your home was that disorganized at all! I think during the follow up I was referring to the fact that you were considering downsizing to another location and needed some assistance to do so. I would not make any comments to my clients that did not mirror what they had already said. Again, I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our services. We found Clutterbusters online and filled out a form and Jeremie called within just a few minutes and we set up an appointment. He came over a gave us an estimate of how long it would take to get the job done. He admitted that it wasn't what he normally does (he primarily does personal spaces rather than warehouse), but he was willing to take on the challenge. The charge was $75/hour, if I can remember that correctly, which was a lot for us at the time. He came over and helped us drag everything out and then organize it and put it all back together. He was very professional and polite. It's honestly been so long that I don't really remember anything specific about the service, but it was a positive experience and I would recommend them. It is helpful to have an objective eye look at your junk and then know what to do with it.
