One of the worst Contractor experiences I have ever had .Average time of arrival 10am, Man and his wife for a crew.Install was sloppy enough I had to get the hardie corporate office involved. Four months after signing the contract my siding is finally complete, barely satisfactory, but done. Its a shame that in South Florida we have so few good contractors. pictures are how they left the house after running out of material creating a 3 week delay.

For over a year I had been contacting companies just to get my fence replaced with no companies that would even show up to give me an estimate so when I started to look for siding repair I was concerned about what I would get. I was pleasantly surprised by Holeman, Inc and their quick response. Met with Mike Holeman and his salesman Brian in November and they were wonderful and explained everything that was going to happen including the timeline on when the materials would be ordered and work would start. As they were the only company to show for my estimate I was surprised that their estimate came in about 1/2 of what I was expecting it to be. On date that work was to start Andrew the project manager showed up to ensure he knew everything that was to be completed. The crew that did the work was a husband and wife team. She is great with the fine details that I would have missed. They were very professional and each day the took time to clean up their work area and left things tidy and neat. Again we were surprised at how quickly they got the work finished. It took less then 2 weeks to complete the job. We are very pleased with the results of this company and would strongly recommend them to anyone who asks. We also love the color that we choose and recommend get it precolored for the state or FL as it comes with a 15 year warranty on the color alone and 30 year on the Hardi Planks. In the pictures below is the color before in light blue to the slate blue that we went with.

As old siding was removed extensive water damage was found on the structure of the house. Tom and Kelly removed the rot and repaired all the damage before installing the new siding. The project manager and the the shell contractor were professional and kept us appraised of everything that needed to be done. Would use them again.

Job went great. All workers were on time, polite, helpful and very neat. The installers/carpenters went beyond what they had to do in order to assist me in having a new chimney cover installed. I am very pleased with the final result and I would highly recommend this company who anyone seeking this type of work.

The sales presentation and estimate that I received was actually a little higher than the final cost, but was exactly what I wanted. The job foreman and original crew were excellent and quick, doing much of the house - replacing the damaged original  support structure necessary to install the new Hardie Board fiber cement planks, installing the siding and trim and caulking and finishing that portion of the job. The first part of the project went very well and quickly, then due to an unforeseen and potentially dangerous electrical  problem unrelated to this company, the job had to be postponed until the local power company could rectify the problem. At this point, the job was completed satisfactorily, but seemed to be almost an afterthought, even though the final payment had not been made. I believe that some jobs were not performed smoothly due to the fact that our location is physically somewhat distant from the company's normal working area and their normal contractors were not available in our area. It was necessary for me to get more involved in supplying local contractors for some functions than I would have liked, creating a certain amount of stress. The original crew were fantastic, doing very good work and completing most of the opening phase of the job. after the enforced delay, the crew brought in to complete the job were less pleasant, and they damaged some of the electrical work that had been done, but they did complete the job quickly and in a satisfactory manner. Repair of the damage and certain other equipment expenses that were generated by the unexpected delay were compensated for in the final payment. The inspector completed his inspection and cleared the job in short order.
The completed job garners much admiration from our neighbors, and we are completely satisfied with the finished product. All worked called for in the contract was completed in a professional manner. Contact with the company was satisfactory for the most part, being somewhat sparse during the enforced break, which I found to be understandable. Once the electrical problems were repaired, the job was finished quickly. I am happy with the overall project and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone wishing to get the best siding applied to their home at a competitive price.

On time, great work for fair price, Highly recommend!

This firm is excellent , extremely professional from the sales staff providing assistance to us on product and color to the final nail and calking of the house . Mike Holman came out to the job to see how things were going and speak to me . His Job supervisor John was always on point and knew exactly where the crews were at and there progress, scheduling inspections with the county and the guys never stopped once till the job was done. I had some problems with a window vendor and Mike and John worked around the areas so not to slow down the job . They were extremely helpful working with the time frame. The crew Flore, Oscar, And Juan were outstanding . They worked well with each other and worked at a good pace completing the job within the time frame 3 weeks . The crews cleaned the job site and were pleasent and polite. They showed up on the job site every day at 7:30 am like clock work and left at 4pm . Monday thru Friday and were off Saturday and Sunday .
The inspections with the county were scheduled a day or two ahead of the needed time and passed inspection every time .
At the end of the job John showed up with all the paper work , wavers and warranty.
I would definitely use Mike Holman INC. again in a heart beat . There price was extremely fair and competitive with other bids .
However they were the only firm that had trained there staff through Hardy Board in the South florida area and were up on all the new handing procedures .

This job was a dream from beginning to end.  The price was competitive.  The salesman was informative and never pushy.  The job started and was completed on schedule.  The workmanship was superb.  Everything went right; nothing went wrong.  Would highly recommend Holeman Inc and HardieBoard.
