The installer (Tommy) was prompt, courteous, and professional. He did a great job of replacing the old water heater that was located in a cramped, under-the-stairs location. The width of the new lowboy water heater actually required the removal of the door stops leading under the stairs. Tommy did a masterful job of removing and replacing the stops. Admiral Plumbing gets my vote of confidence.
Mole bit in to water line from meter to house -- discovered it at eleven this morning -- had City utilities come out and check it --they told me where the
leak was -- noon called admiral plumbing -- very courteous reception she asked when i needed them out -- i said as soon as possible --she understood the urgency and checked 2 minutes later she ws back on line and told me tech would be there before 2pm -- tech arrived at 1:15 an hour later all fixed and back to running water -- Tech was prompt quality work --Yes i would use them againThis was an extremely positive experience and though I would have appreciated a slightly lower price; in the end, it was worth it.
This is a class outfit, right down to the gal who answered my initial call.
my entire water heater and electrical outlet ($880). They claimed to
have tested my element and thermostat, this was not performed. I had a
third party electrician replace the outlet alone for 50 bucks.
I called Admiral Plumbing and the plumber came the same day. He drained and disposed of the old water heater; supplied and installed a 40 gallon Bradford water heater and replace the bell valve and a couple of other parts.
The plumber was very professional and polite!
"Thank you for your review. Most customers we have on Angie's List and elsewhere we charge $625 for a 40 gallon water heater installed in the garage. Your install also required a ball valve which ment turning off the water to the home and draining down the house water system. An old inactive heat recovery system had to also be disconnected. You told us another company quoted you a lessor price over the phone. I'm sure there would be a price adjustment once they saw all the extra work needed. I lowered the price since my tech was already at the home and I thought it was the right thing to do at the time. The state of Florida requires the Plumbing license holder which is myself to be responsible for the service techs I employ. They are not required to have a personal plumbing license, this goes for every plumbing company in the state.. TJ has been doing plumbing for many years and prior to employment TJ passed my requirements and proved himself as a great plumber. I employee many great plumbers so we can service all your emergency's the same day. I do not employee a plumber that I wouldn't want in my home. You can see this by all the great reviews we have on Angie's list. Please call us the next time you need a Plumber you would be happy to have inside your home.
