Founded in 1983 by Rick Woods, Woodsman provides Jacksonville area builders and homeowners with impeccable service on full lines of cabinetry, countertops, ceramic tile & stone, hardwood flooring, carpet, vinyl and design services. Through the years, Woods has continued to expand the scope of the products and services provided to meet the demand of the market. The objective has been to offer a comprehensive ‘bundle’ of products and services to both remodeling customers and new homebuilders to make the process as seamless as possible. Woodsman’s ability to provide professional design, installation and if needed oversee construction services on everything from cabinetry, countertops and floor coverings makes them a one-stop-shop. They had a competitive price on the marble, but when the job was complete, it wasn't a 100% job. They didn't measure the area correctly. It fit, but it was it was barely off. It was a quarter inch wide in one place and it an inch in another. I don't plan to do business with them again, considering they measured three times and didn't get it right/

The job went smoothly from start to finish. The only problem was when installing the counter top the PVC pipe from the dishwasher was broken. Their plumber came promptly and fixed it. I didn't have to call plumbers, electricians, etc. Woodsman handled all of that. My salesperson, Teri, was outstanding in her design. She worked with me on style, color, etc. and I absolutely love it! Doc was the head person on this project and he was right on top of everything and Jim and Nic were there to watch over everything! Someone from Woodsman called to be sure I was happy every step of the way. I truly felt like the customer was their main concern!

This company acted professionally when I met with them. The price quote they gave me was reasonable also. I would have used them if they followed up with me. Since they did not, I would not ever use them. If they can not follow up on an estimate, I would hate to think about their follow-up skills on work done. When they did meet with me, they were punctual and they knew what they were talking about. My complaint was with the lack of follow-up.

Woodsman is unique in that they exhibit everything they sell in their showroom. And if they do not have the exact color, you can take pieces home to try and match the color. Their installation work is good, especially with the higher-priced cabinets.
