I will be meeting with the sales person in question and sharing your letter with her so she can realize your perception of how you were treated, so we can learn from this experience. We recently moved to Jacksonville and used Woodsman to install the counters in our home, because they were recommended and have a name here in Jacksonville. The final product in the kitchen is very nice. However, the process to get there took way too long and had too many people involved. Phone calls were not returned promptly, communication among the contacts at Woodsman was poor. The team that did the countertop install left razor blades and debris around and under the countertops, and did not protect existing surfaces in the home during install. One backsplash piece was cut incorrectly and not installed, and the install team left and said that Woodsman would call them about it. It took almost 3 days to get a call back regarding that missing piece. The team that did the tear out was top notch, and Jim told them to make sure to clean it up and leave it as it was when they arrived. We cannot give the install team the same review. Even though we had our bathroom counter templated by Woodsman at the same time the kitchen was, we do not plan to use them to replace the bathroom counter(s).
Additionally, for Woodsman being a "full service" provider, it was annoying that the installation of the countertop is handled in such a piece-meal type manner. Tearout of existing counter is an additional charge, disassembly of plumbing is an additional charge, and they recommend that you hire your own person to do it. The $/sq. ft cost of their granite is quite misleading when you have to add all of these additional charges to it.

I forwarded your comments to the operations manager over the counter top department, discussed the matter with him, and he is meeting with our team today to address these items of concern. We take our customers’ concern or disappointment very seriously. One note regarding your comments about our pricing approach to please consider is that every job we do is different. Sometimes the people have the ability to do their own plumbing or construction work such as removal of existing tops or electrical work , and many times they do not. We really can’t pre-include those items in our pricing because then it would inflate the prices and be viewed as too high. I hope that makes sense to you. As the owner, I want you to know that myself as well as all of our employees always want to give our customers the best experience we can in communicating with us. I am very sorry that in your particular case we failed to do so. Because I am unsure whether you spoke to one of our receptionists or a sales person I don't know who to specifically address internally, but I am going to address this to all possible personnel to make sure we don't ever do this in this same manner in the future. You are 100% correct in your frustration about our response on the phone, and knowing my people as I do, I want you to know I believe it was a case of unintentional, very poor communication on our part in attempting to answer your questions about " our process". We worked with a wonderful person, Jayne, who made great suggestions. She suggested we remove a half wall in the kitchen which opened the room up and just love it. All the counters were raised and a few custom cabinets were made to give us extra storage. She spent as much time with us as we needed. Everyone there was great to work with. Anytime we had questions or needed something done, they were right there. They thought it would take about a month and it did. Everyone was very professional and a pleasure to work with. It was so nice to have everything coordinated from one place. We both work and we had no problem having everyone in our house when we were gone. They let us know who would be there and when. We would definitely use them again.
The arrived when they said they would and installed an Armstrong floor and shoe molding.
The job was done in one and a quarter days. It would have been done in one day but the truck
they had did not have the saw to cut the molding.
The only down side was the floor was ordered 2/20/2014 and not in till 3/21/2014
If you are buying from them check to make sure the product is in. Other than that I would use them again. The work was great and my wife loves the floor.
