"Called the customer 3 days in advance to try to reschedule a Monday morning appointment to a Monday afternoon appointment. The reschedule was due to an unexpected situation that arose for the salesman scheduled to go out there. This was not acceptable for the customer, as he was not interested in rescheduling a time or a date. The representative was apologetic, but not argumentative."

delivery. 8 weeks went by, no delivery. I made it clear to the rep that I need installation before a certain date because I was going to be out of the country after that for a longer period of time, and he assured me there was not going to be a problem. After numerous calls and pleading, the installation was scheduled 2 days before my trip. The installer were totally unprofessional, arrived late, took long breaks for no reason, left a mess. I didn't have time to thoroughly inspect what they did at that time, but when I came back I noticed that one of the windows wasn't even sealed. It could have fallen out. I called the company and they sent someone to correct it. That person commented on how bad a job these installers did and said they were not their usual installers. Supsequently, when I was washing the windows, I got even more upset and frustrated because there was sealant and glue on the glass and it took me a long time to scrub it and remove it.
The quality of the windows themselves may be OK, but the quality of workmanship this company provided was totally unacceptable.
"Window World of Jacksonville was purchased in November of 2013. We are now under new management. We are Window World of Northeast Florida. We are sorry for the review sent by Mr. [removed member name]. His windows were ordered on April 10th and installed on May 31st. That was actually during the seventh week of his order. As far I as know, he has not called for any warranty issues. We hope that we can correct the opinion he has if he ever needs us. Our installers are subcontractors but work for our company exclusively. The subcontractor who installed this job has been with the company for several years. He is well liked and we have not had this complaint before. We are not certain about the window that was not sealed. Every job done in Atlantic Beach is inspected. There is not reference in our files to indicate that we failed the inspection. As far as the caulk on the outside surface of the window, we are sorry that it was missed. While the caulk is wet, it is easily remove by a damp cloth. However, once it dries, it becomes permanent. That is the reason we know that the windows are water tight. We hope that potential customers will give us a chance. We promise "Simply the best for less.""
instillation was not until 08/2013. Issues w/ parts on door coming
loose and water leakage reported but no return calls from owner.
After 3 months of calls/complaints problems were fixed by
manufacturer representative( 1st week in Nov 2013) . The doors
are designed to have and quot;weep holesand quot; to drain water but plugs that are to be installed were
missing. As of today (12/19/13) I still do not have them. Call to
company - waiting for return call
1/19/14and gt; I understand the business is under new ownership ; I contacted them 3 weeks ago re: job being unfinished and I'm still waiting for a response!
I called to verify the start date 3 days before and was told that the installer was sick and would we like to wait or for them to get a new installer. We asked for a new installer so only started 2 days late. The original 2-3 day job that they estimated took 5 days due to the fact that LT did almost everything himself. His assitant showed up for only one day and was of little help as far as I saw.
There was quite a mess on our back porch since everything was stored there while work progressed. It seemed that the trash built up over the first two days and when I saw rain in the forecast I asked LT to clean the porch out since all of the dust would have created a real mess. LT agreed and did a good job and even he agreed after the fact that it could have been a real mess.The windows went in fine, they look great, LT cleaned the outside and tried to clean the inside but we have hardwood floors and the dust was everywhere. When he was done we had the house cleaned.
I was a little leary of having someone do this job. I was particularly concerned about the stucco issue. I only went forward with WW once I found that one of our neighbors used them to replace windows and had used them 3 separate times. We were happy with the installation but be forewarned, it is messy.
"Member has complained to our business, We did what member requested and member was satisfied when we left job site. Member was having concrete siding installed and that contractor removed siding trim we installed to make siding install easier. Now member wants money returned because member removed trim from window after windows were installed. The installer did make some mistakes on this job, but we corrected these issues the following day with a new installer. The new installer left the member happy. There will be no money returned to the member."
We called them a second time, to give them a chance on another project. This time, after coming out, measuring, going back to the office, he called back and said he didn't think he could do this project.
We won't call them again.
"Window World has no records are shown of member calling and setting an appointment. Window World never has to get an exact installation cost and we never leave the home without giving a quote. The only reason that no quote would left is that the home owner wanted a entry door and as all entry doors have many options, and WW has to get pricing from the manufacturer. Sorry, but member has mistaken us for someone else."

"We do not give discounts. We could mark the windows up and then discount them, but we give you our best price the first time. We offer "Simply the Best for Less". As to the door, All of our doors are custom made and we have to wait on the door company to get us a price. We wish a door quote could be done in less time."
