I called Turner Plumbing in the morning and went over the available options to replace my hot water heater.  The representative gave me a rundown of the costs and gave me a discount for being a member of Angie's List!  The installation crew was able to come the same day and completed the work in under two hours.  They were very professional and made sure the job was done correctly.  The only issue I had - a small one - was that they installed a new pan and charged me for it without telling me that they were going to do so.  I would have asked why the old pan, which seemed to be in good working order, would not work.  I would have appreciated the oportunity to ask that question, but they only told me about the pan after the work was finished.  It didn't cost much (under $30); however, being an unexpected additional cost, I rated the price a "B".

It was early evening and my regular plumber was not available. One of my tenants called and could not get the shower in the only bathroom in the house to function. I looked up plumbers on Angie's List and came across Turner Plumbing. The person who took the call diagnosed the problem over the phone and responded quickly fixing the shower which made my tenants very happy. He was also kind enough to go out of his way (2 miles) and bring the invoice to my house for payment vs.me leaving to meet him at the tenants house as I was in the middle of preparing dinner for my family.

They were outstanding. They came out as soon as I called them! He found the problem right away and fixed it. They also followed up on sending me a receipt. They took the liberty of mailing the receipt to me because I could not make it to their office to pick it up.

The water would not stop running to our washer.  Had to shut off water to house so it wouldn't flood.  Needed someone to come out for same day service. It was no problem for them and there was not a additional charge for emergency appt.
Tec was on time, fixed the problems.  Would definitely use them again.

Turner Plumbing was extremely professional and did a great job from start to finish. They answered their phone (believe it or not there were some companies who failed at this basic service level) and scheduled a technician to arrive at the house to inspect and provide an estimate. They provided a quote and answered any questions with prompt email responses. The plumbers arrived on time everyday and were very professional and respectful while my mother-in-law was at the house all day while they worked. The work was to be done in 5 days but they were able to complete a day sooner which in my book is a plus. They even made sure my mother-in-law had buckets of water when they had to turn the water off. They repaired a leak in the kitchen sink which was not part of the original quote, another plus for customer service. The drywall guy did an amazing job of repairing the cuts and you couldn't even tell the ceiling had a hole. Overall Turner Plumbing provided great customer service which most companies seem to fail at. I will definitely be using them again for any other jobs and recommending them to everyone I know. There's a reason for why they have been in business for so long and if customer service is important to you then call them. Ask for Jim Smith and his crew, they are top-notch in everything they do.

I contacted Turner to come out and price an install of a tub.  Buzz came out to complete an estimate. I provided two potential options and asked for pricing breakdown for the two scenarios - 1 was the full project, 2 was the effort without the demo and drywall repair.  I received the estimates the next day.  I replied back I wanted to take the second option and notified them I had an Angie's list coupon.  They never responded to my note.  I sent a second note, never responded again.  I suppose you have to communicate upfront that you have an Angie's list coupon so they can hike up the price to offset the reduction.  Incredibly unprofessional.

They came promptly and on time.   The problem was diagnosed quickly.  As my house was very old, they had to get additional parts from the hardware store.  After they finished, an additional leak sprung in a different area and they came back within the hour immediately to fix.  The team was well coordinated and did a good job.

On July 20th they came back out and fixed the hot and cold handles, but the lever was still hanging. We called back to have lever fixed on July 24 and they sent out and different tech and he was not able to fix the lever. We then had to call back again and say they had done all they could and could not guarantee their work because they did not furnish the cartridge.

"All work IS GUARANTEED. This is why we returned and adjusted the owner supplied cartridge at no additional charge. The loose lever is due to the age of the faucet (1985 Moen, original to the home) and is unrelated to the cartridge. . We completed the work we were contracted to do. Our recommendation was to replace the faucet. We never like to leave a client unhappy and welcome the opportunity to help the homeowner to select and replace the faucet."

We bought a home with a large water filtration system under kitchen sink. Soon it began to leak, as did one bath faucet. Additionally, when we tried to replace the washer hoses it was seized on. The techs came out on time, with the secretary even calling to say they could come earlier if I was home. Two techs listened to all the concerns, then split up and got to work. They advised me we didn't need the filtration due to our water softener, but also described how to maintain if I chose to keep it. I had it removed, they cleaned it all up and sealed everything. The washer valves were taken care of, and my new hoses for new washer were installed. The bath faucet was the most difficult as he had to find exactly what was causing the leak, then that was repaired as well. They brought paper towels and cleaned up everything and took all trash with them. Good experience! The secretary was even great about scheduling through email.

They were absolutely wonderful. The water heater went out on a holiday weekend. They were available and were here within an hour, and for no extra charge. They told us that we couldn't get replacement parts, that we would need to replace the system. He told us what exactly we would need to get our money's worth within 1 year. They gave us a tank and installed a free mixer for the system to take care of the sulfur smell. And they did this all on a holiday weekend. They really went above and beyond. They were expert plumbers, very knowledgable, and didn't overcharge us.

Toilet wouldn't stop running so we tried to turn the water off at the wall and the pipe broke behind the wall. Thank goodness turned the water off at the street before we started. Of course this was a Sunday so we had to do an emergency call. The on call plumber returned my call in 10 minutes and was at my home in 30 minutes. Fixed the pipe and replaced the inner workings of the tank and quickly.

Plumber and helper came out for assessment, then scheduled work and performed it a week later, as promised.  Wall was taped and patched ready for painting.  Site clean when they left.  I met the owner when I returned a left tool.  He was courteous and knowledgeable.

TheKitchen sink was clogged. We had augured approximately 20 ' in and plunged with poor results. Turner was called and told us they'd be out in 30-45 minutes. They showed up within that time frame, discussed the issue with us and the most likely problem, then proceeded to get to work. Because of the work we had done previously and that the washer was draining properly, (the washer draining was one of their diagnostic questions) they went to the roof and ran an augur down through the roof vent. 30' in they found a blockage. It was removed and the sink started draining properly. We have a two bin sink, one of which has a garbage disposal attached. Within the sink cabinet, the two sinks were connected via a vertically mounted "T" connection under the second sink that then leads to the trap.The pipe running between the disposal and the "T" connection was horizontal. The plumber recommended that this configuration be modified to allow the disposal to drain better. Once the work was approved, it was performed quickly. I'm very pleased with the results as well as the cost of the work and Turner's professionalism. We will be using this company again when necessary and I recommend their work to others.
