"Ms. [Member Name Removed], We are very sorry that after consulting numerous, people you have come away with the belief that you have received poor service. The only way your new sod will die is if you do not water it sufficiently, daily for the first month to help the roots become established. New sod is often laid over weedy dirt with great results, if it is watered correctly. We do not provide the service of sod installation and give referral of two or three companies to choose from when we are asked about new sod. This is a fair way for the homeowner to decide who to hire to provide the service. We have been in business almost 20 years and have referred many homeowners to other companies to provide services we don’t. We have never had a poor experience with someone we have referred. We did reach out to Mr. Wood concerning your issues. Our understanding is Mr. Wood gave you two prices, one with ground preparation and one without. You made your choice (which was a perfectly fine choice, by the way). Mr. Wood tells us he has tried to contact you and has had no response from you (as of this post). It is unclear as to why someone who is not even a customer would go out of their way to drag our company into their situation and create a problem where there is no problem. Our best recommendation is to contact Mr. Wood and work with him to come to a resolution. Again, we are very sorry you are upset and hope you get satisfaction. Please remember to water your new sod generously and every day."
