Overall McCalls does a very thorough job. My technician is very careful, always asks me if I see any bugs, what type etc so he can put the correct product around the house. He is careful of eating areas. I like tha tthey cover the areas thoroughly. They always call before they come and provide an approximate time and ask beforehand if there are any problems or issues. I have been very pleased with the service--it may not be the cheapest out there but you do get what you pay for. I like that they are thorough and respond to my requests in a timely fashion.

I have used this service for 6 months. They come every 2 months to spray my lawn. I have complained twice about the weeds and nut-sedge in my yard. Their rep said it is just winter kill. (?) My entire front lawn has died and I am now in the process of getting it re-sodded at a huge expense to me. I am still using McCall's for exterior pest control and termite bond, but I am no longer going to use them for lawn maintenance and may even cancel my other services with them.

Well, they never bothered to show any concern for their failure to provide my home protection as promised. A simple "We're really sorry about this." Would have gone a long way with me. I never heard from the owner, and the gal in the office was only concerned about getting paid for the last pest control application. Needless to say I didn't feel like I should have been asked for anything more, considering the $800 it cost me to repair the damage they failed to prevent. Of course, as of now, they referred this to their collection henchmen as is their usual procedure it seems, but Ihave no intention of paying a dime unless I get an apology from this scam artist.

They supposedly came to spray only the outside of my house while I was out of town. They left no notice or proof that they had actually been there and they didn't spray the inside of my house. I contacted them again to have them come back out to spray the inside of my house before I paid them. They threatened to turn me over to collections because I hadn't paid, but I hadn't paid because they did not spray the inside of my house as I had requested. I have since paid this bill by check, but they have to cash it.

I have Mc Calls come every three months to spray. The last time he was here he came on time and quickly performed his task. It really doesn't take long at all and whatever he uses works well as I have had no insect problems. I recommend them.

We had previously had a contract with them and the contract had ran out. They decided to come after it had ran out on this occasion and charge us for it. I refused to pay because I did not tell them to come to my home. Our contract was over and that was their problem. We had many problems with them because of my failure to pay. I would never recommend them to anyone or use them again because they took it upon their selves to just show up at my home.

"WE ALWAYS HATE TO SEE A DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. IN THIS CASE THE CUSTOMER DID NOT INFORM US OF HER DESIRE TO DISCONTINUE SERVICE AS STATED IN OUR AGREEMENT WHICH SHE SIGNED. WE SERVICED AS PER AGREEMENT, SHE REFUSED TO PAY AFTER MULTIPLE CONTACT ATTEMPTS. WE FELT WE HAD NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO TURN HER OVER TO COLLECTIONS SO THAT WE COULD BE COMPENSATED FOR OUR WORK, AGAIN PER OUR AGREEMENT. THIS UNDERSTANDABLY UPSET HER - WE ALWAYS STRIVE TO LEAVE OUR CUSTOMERS SATISFIED, BUT WE DO NEED TO BE PAID FOR OUR SERVICE. IF SHE OR ANY CUSTOMER IS DISSATISFIED WITH A SPECIFIC SERVICE WE ROUTINELY PROVIDE A FREE FOLLOW UP - IN THIS CASE WE WERE NOT GIVEN THAT OPPORTUNITY. AS SHE STATED HER PROBLEMS WITH US WERE DUE TO HER "FAILURE TO PAY.""

McCalls Pest Control is a very personal company. Our family has been using them for over 20 years and we have been so happy with the work they do. They are a spin-off from another company and they let us know right away what the company had done.
