"I apologize if I cause this member any inconvenience. To be very honest..I am very busy and my existing customers that I am doing work for take precedence."
"Unfortunately, I can't do work for everyone that requests our services, we are very simply too busy. If I am in the middle of doing something and am not able to write down a customers information at that exact moment that they call, I do make every effort to identify which number on my cell phone belonged to that exact customer. It is not my intention to offend anyone to the point that they would be so annoyed by not getting a return phone call as to cause them to them to write a negative review in an attempt to damage our credibility. Perhaps if this member had called me back and given me the opportunity to explain the fact that I could not identify which of the numerous numbers on my cell phone belonged to him, he may have been more reasonable. Every single one of the customer that I have done work for have given me extremely high marks, that is why I am so busy. I am truly sorry that I wasted a minute (literally one minute) of this members time."
"I informed the client on the first day I came to his home that I already had several clients that had already given me deposits to do work and that I would have to finish their work before I could do anything else. I continually told him that I was not sure if I would be able do the work. He literally hounded me to complete an estimate and do work for him. I was respectful and answered his calls when I could and returned them when I could. I NEVER once told him that I would be able to do the work he requested. He had the option to call as many companies as he wanted too to get estimates. If he wasted two weeks waiting on me, it is not my fault. I repeat, I never once told him I would be able to do the work. I spent more than two hours discussing his project and referred him to someone that I thought would do a good job and help him out. Instead of being grateful that I took time out of my schedule to try and assist him and referred him to another company that I thought would be able to help him out, he writes a negative report. I didn't get paid for my time or advise, all of my estimate are free. No matter how hard you try, you just can't please everyone."
"The member was a great customer to work with. We are usually very busy and sometimes it takes us a while to get to our customers. We truly appreciate our customers that wait to receive our services. We were glad that we were able to provide him with our services in the timely fashion that he needed."
"I was not a no show. I never set up a time to come and do an estimate. Member has stated that he would be in town for a limited amount of time. I had explained that I was busy and if I was able to set up a time to do an estimate within his time requirements I would do so. I called and indicated that I would not be able to set up a time while he was in town. I want to be very clear, I never set up an exact time that I would be able to do an estimate. We are very busy and to put it simply, I just did not have the time to set up an actual time to come and do an estimate. I apologize for any inconvenience that my inability to set up an appointment time may have caused Member."
"Unfortunately, we do not give estimates over the phone on the type of job that the member was requesting. He described multiple flooring surfaces that needed to be removed prior to the installation of the tile. He also indicated ball park estimates of the areas involved. I offered to set up a time to give him an estimate. He said he did not have the time for contractors to come out and give him an estimate. Guessing on estimated areas of flooring that needs to be removed and guessing on area installation costs in not how we do business. We pride ourselves on giving accurate estimates, with no hidden costs. We also do not give low ball estimates knowing that the job with cost the customer more money in the end. The only way to give an accurate estimate is to do an on site visit. It takes time and money to do a site visit and type up an accurate estimate. We are more than willing to spend our time and money doing site visits and our time to give our customers accurate estimates."
