A neat, clean plumber (Chris) arrived exactly when he said he would and did the work quickly and professionally.

All went well except for the cartridge valve swap on the old sink faucet, which wasn't the plumbers' fault. The hex screw on that old faucet could not be unscrewed due to the hex socket being worn and rounded. Rather than drill out the screw I had them leave it as is for now. Another plumbing company had tried and failed to unscrew that hex screw on a visit the year before. All in all eht Egerton plumbers did a good job.

Everything went amazing. They were clean, professional, and very skilled in their trade I am going to be using them again and would recommend them to everyone.

It went well, very friendly and professional service. The plumber was on time and had all the equipment and replacement fixtures that were needed. They were prepared for all and any time of problem. The checkout/payment at the end of the service took longer than expected (20-30min) to calculate and process all bought service and material, but I would use them again in the future.

They did not show for my scheduled 9:00am appointment so I called to find that I wasn't on the book even though he remembered talking to me. They sent someone as soon as they could which was just after noon. I prepaid for a $79 Angie's list deal to have them replace a unit. I had the new unit. It took forever for the old one to come out due to rust which he eventually sawed off. After attempting to install he realized the new unit was too large. He attempted to install in front of the garbage disposal and did try to make it work. He needed hose which he did not carry so after quite a while of being gone to a home improvement store he returned. Once installed the unit kept leaking at the faucet and he was getting very aggravated. I got the instructions from the unit and read that the hose he extended cannot be extended or the unit will not work right and will leak at the faucet. I had to tell him this and he is the plumber. I asked him to please just take it out and he said he couldn't because the valve started leaking every time he tried to remove it and he was done messing with it. He left with a clamp on the hose under my sink and said he could come back to replace when I got one that fit. I asked if they carried a unit and he said no just look it up and get one that fits. I have never, ever written a negative review and thought long and hard before writing this one, but I do not want anyone else to go through what I went through. So, bottom line I paid for one of service which it shouldn't have taken much longer than, plus an additional $148 for a job that is not finished and literally sitting under my sink with a clamp on it. I do take blame for not knowing that the unit did not fit, but since I am not a professional, I did think that I could rely on one to be able to let me know that it was not going to work before charging me for something that could not even be done. I now do not have the money to get one that even fits and cannot return this one first because it wasn't removed. I am so very disappointed.

very professional and fast. did the job right

This was a $79 big deal purchase. I don't remember who I used but I did have to have a callback from whichever plumber I used. Some of it they did sloppily and they did come back and did fix it. I did have to have someone else come out and redo some of it. I wanted them to also hook up my gas, but they did not bring the parts they needed so I had to have another service person come out and do that. Their punctuality was fine. I was not there when they were doing this.

They were very professional and courteous. I called right before the holiday and they scheduled me on the next business day after the holiday. The dishwasher works great and there is no longer a leak in my kitchen sink. I would definitely use them again.

Keith knows plumbing. I was glad to see that he had the parts he needed on his truck. My house was built in 1959 and I frequently find that visiting repairmen don't have the part they need.

Speaking with Bret at Eagerton Plumbing prior to my appointment made me feel comfortable with having them come into my home. The technician (I wish I knew his name) was extremely polite, patient and explained everything that he was doing. He was knowledgeable and very efficient with his time. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend this company. Thanks Guys!

It took him an extra hour and I have never had that happen. I think that their price is standard at $85 but I wasn't expecting to pay the extra hour. Usually you can unplug a sink and a commode in an hour. It took a little longer than I anticipated. I would probably go back to my old plumber.

After a couple of rounds with the hand snake the technician cleared the problem and it's running freely again. My other questions one about a noise that I thought was perhaps a small leak in the wall and one about the toilet gurgling, the technician put my mind at ease by explaining what I was hearing. He also helped with another small problem with the flush handle on the toilet and he also explained that fully too.

Big thanks to Eagerton and the technician, James P., for excellent service. Because James was so good, I didn't have any issues or additional charges, I would encourage Eagerton to stick to the advertised coupon. When I called in, I was told the deal didn't include travel time of 15 minutes. If that's the case, change your coupon to state it's for 45 minutes of labor or doesn't include travel time or change the price. Any issues Eagerton has with AL's coupon "rules" shouldn't be discussed with customers; that's between Eagerton and AL. I hate gotcha coupons! I'm glad this wasn't one of them. I've already told a few folks about my good experience.

Service was great. He arrived exactly as scheduled and did the work within the estimate quoted. He also gave me helpful information on other services we may have done through them in the future. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The plumber arrived on time and was very professional and he stayed until he was sure everything was working properly. This isn't the first time we've used Eagerton and it won't be the last.

they did an excellent job with a smile on your face

A tree root in my front yard compromised my water line. My yard was a swamp and water was bubbling out of the ground and running down the street. Eagerton was very responsive and was able to get someone out within a couple hours. The gentlemen were friendly, professional and hard workers. They fixed the water line within two hours of arriving; however, unfortunately they forgot to tell me to open my tub faucets all the way and flush the dirt out of the line, so after they left my kitchen sink line clogged up solid. Eagerton sent the same two guys back out in the evening (~6 PM) to unstop that line. They were worn out. After they fixed that clog and put my kitchen faucet back together they accidentally wrapped the faucet line around the water cut-off knobs. Now I can only pull the faucet out about 6 inches. I'm going to have to take it apart again and unwrap the faucet line. Also, when they were leaving, they turned one wheel of their work van around in my soggy front yard and the tire made a rut that's about 6 inches deep and 8 feet long in my front yard. It destroyed the sod and took 5 bags of top soil to fill the rut. Hopefully the sod will grow back. I'm happy that Egerton was able to send someone out within a few hours. I think the plumbers could have done a better job if they had more time to do the job right. I would have paid more for them to slow down and down the job right the first time, not tear up my yard and remember to tell me to flush the line from my tub. Having said that, I'll use them again because I tried three big plumbing companies and Eagerton was the only one who could get someone out to help me within a few hours.

As for the plumber, nothing but good things. He was professional, courteous and an expert. As for the payment system, they need to get their act together. I do not know what the malfunction was, but if I pay for a certain amount, I expect to have that taken off. Whoever processes the Paypal payments do not know their front to their end. I WILL NOT BE PAYING DOUBLE FOR THAT AND UNTIL THEY CAN FIGURE IT OUT, I WILL NO LONGER DO BUSINESS WITH EAGERTON PLUMBING. END OF STORY!
