The first thing the plumber did was listen in several places in the house for the leak. He then brought an air hose in and hooked it up to the line to definitely find the leak. He was very careful not to disrupt anything in the house when he did any of these procedures. Once the leak was found he removed all items from the bathroom so that no dust would get on them or rattle them off the walls when he had to jackhammer out the section where the leak was located. After he removed the concrete and dirt he was able to repair the pipe due to a small tree root had grown over the pipe and pushed on it just enough to rupture it slightly. After repairing the leak he checked the other pipes and each time he had me visually inspect every step of the work, which I appreciated. Then he filled the hole back up with dirt and poured concrete over it. The whole experience was painless AND he cleaned up every trace of dirt. My husband and I could not be happier.

I called David Gray Plumbing up and they asked me if I wanted to schedule them to come out the next day before or after 1pm. I told them before. A lady from the company called my about 10-15min before they arrived to tell me they were on their way. Two guys came out around 2:30 and fixed the pipe by about 3:00pm. They were friendly and they fixed the problem. Later that day, however, I noticed my kitchen sink water pressure was almost at a trickle. I called their office again and told them about it. They said they would send someone out again the next day. She explained that if its a problem related to the job the guys had done then it would be covered under warranty. The next day one guy came out, and Cleaned out the faucet head of my kitchen sink. He said sometimes when the water is cut off it dislodges stuff in the lines and can clog faucets. He fixed the problem and did not charge me. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend them to others.

David Gray's communication system completely broke down. Their policy of only servicing their customers during limited hours, their receptionists not knowing the schedule of their estimators, and the estimator not communicating with a customer is total failure of a company in my opinion. I will no longer use David Gray. Only after calling back later on Wednesday to lodge a complaint with their Quality Assurance department about the lack of customer service did I then get a follow up call from Gary Gray asking what it would take for me to do business with them. I told him, sorry but I can't do business with a company that will not work with a customer.

The first group of plumbers did the shower plate work poorly. They came back with a second crew of more experienced plumbers and got it done right. The shower looks great. I would hire them again only if they send experienced plumbers, not beginners.
