I had one of the worst experiences with "DAVID GRAY Plumbing" Company. Their business model is unlike anything I've ever seen. I contacted their customer support team to get a quote for installing two security cameras at my home. They said they would send someone to the property to provide an estimate. Today, they arrived, assessed the situation, and quoted me $1100 to install two security cameras. I had already purchased the cameras for $150 each. When I spoke with other electricians, they quoted me $200 for the installation. There’s no way I would pay $1100 for that, so I refused their quote. Then, "DAVID GRAY Plumbing" asked me to pay a $70 service charge. I initially refused, but the installation guy threatened to report me to the collections department if i dont pay service charge. So, I ended up paying the $70 service charge. Afterward, I checked online reviews and found that many others had the same complaint. They are ripping off their customers. I found another electrician who will install the cameras for $200. It seems this company makes its money from service charges because customers often refuse their outrageous quotes.

I’ve been using David Gray plumbing since the early 90’s. 3 repipes. Misc plumbing and pipe clean outs. Always had quick service calls, same morning or by end of day. Always seemed the value was worth the cost. However, something has changed. Had two service calls last week. Both I feel were way over priced. My loyalty to David Gray Plumbing is lost. Never felt I needed to read other’s reviews. But while penning this review, I see an overwhelming number of customers are having the same impression. They have become too expensive to even call for future service. I’ll find a smaller plumbing company to finish installing my bathroom fixtures I got in today.

I called David Gray to replace a ceiling fan in the living room and install two motion censor lights on my front porch (both were already wired just need the fixtures swapped out). A little pricey, but I felt better having an electrician come out to do this work rather than a handyman especially since I wasn’t sure if the fan was going to work (the one that was previously there did not work -wasn’t sure if it was the fan or the wiring). Andrew did a good job and I would use David Gray again.

Terrible service. It was emergency for me - there was a heavy leak. I called at 8 PM, mentioned it was energency and even 1 AM no one appeared here. I called again, technician was very rude and said I could call other plumbing company. Don't call this company, it's crappy service.

Horrible customer service. I was charged for them to come out and take apart a fan they put in 2 weeks prior and then have to rebuild because it wasn't done right the first time. Next, they put in an exhaust fan in my bathroom (didn't have an existing one) and I told both the person making my reservation and the tech who called to be sure to bring ducting since we don't have an existing fan. Instead, the guy cut a hole in the ceiling and just pushed in the fan we bought. No ducting, just sending the moisture to our attic which will only cause more mold issues! To top it off, they took all the loose insulation and just dumped it into one of my outside garbage cans - no bag - and it went everywhere. I have called 3 times, left 2 messages and no one is returning my calls. Going to have to hire another company to properly vent the exhaust fan as it should have been done in the first place. Very upset they did such a crappy job. Never using them again.

About 2 years back, I had David Gray Electrical install a chandelier which required replacing the mounting/junction box due to old wiring and missing mounting hardware. They seemed to do good work at the time, the price was right, and they operated efficiently. However, when they replaced the junction box in the attic, at the time I did not climb up there to verify their work, and they left the box uncovered with exposed wiring. I had trusted that they would do it up to code but they did not. Recently I discovered this, and called them last week to get it resolved. They were prompt in getting someone out to my house, and they arrived before their scheduled arrival time. Thankfully, even though the original work was done a couple years prior, to make it right they did not charge me for the repair. I appreciate that they owned up to their mistake and made it right. For that reason they get a good review from me instead of an F (would be A if I didn't have to deal with this).

Electricians showed up on time. They were professional and explained everything to me before any work was done. What I really appreciated was that after installing the ceiling fan I purchased, they discovered it didn’t work. They waited while I went to the store to purchase another fan without charging me for the additional time. They did not have to do this and it was great customer service. Thank you.
