The owner of the company was referred to me by a pest control company technician that was performing our yearly termite bond inspection. He noted the excess moisture around our house and suggested that gutters would alleviate the problem. Since we had wanted gutters anyway, we decided to contact Gutter Helmet based on the recommendation. The owner came out that day and walked the house and gave me his recommendation for full coverage. He left a written estimate with no pressure to sign anything.

My wife and I discussed it over a couple of days, and I called him back to ask him to schedule us. He had his scheduler call me back to set up a time. The reason I did not give them an 'A' for punctuality is that their installer called me the morning of the scheduled work (about an hour before they were supposed to start) to ask if it was OK to reschedule me. He explained that their job from the previous day ran into some unforseen complications that required them to go back that morning. He said they could still come that day, but would be late, and due to the size of my house, it might require them to stretch the work over two days, so they preferred to reschedule. It was fine for me, and didn't really inconvenience me, but it was short notice and could cause problems for some people.

When they did come they were very professional, cleaned up after they were done, and were good about letting me know what was going on. The guttters look great. The installed exactly what we agreed on and the price was exactly what the owner quoted me, so no games there.

They were professional.  They were willing to rectify anything that wasn't right.  They were responsive.

The job went very well. They were professional. It was hard for them to tell me as to when they were going to do the work because at that time there was a lot of rain and everything. What they did was they scheduled the workers but they didn’t let me know when and they said that the reason they didn’t let me know when was because it was all depending on the weather and things like that. I used them for two different things. For the work that they did last week I spent $1690. I live in a group of town homes. There are six town homes. They did the town homes. They have been very pushy about getting paid when I told them to begin with. They have to go to the treasurer of our Association but they have called every day to get the money and I explained that to them and now they are saying something. First of all, we never even signed a contract but now they are saying something that they have to release a lien and I don’t know what they are talking about. I know what a lien is but I don’t know if the lien is personally against me or the association but nobody actually signed a contract. They can’t have a lien without a signed contract. I think the price was high but they were okay. I would give them an ‘A’ for price. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Another company contracted Gutter Helmet to replace my gutter and downspouts on 6/24/11.  The gentlemen came on the day requested, installed the gutter and downspouts, and spoke to me about the type, how they were installed (without gutter nails), and what I could expect with these gutters.  I asked about gutter cleaning, and they gave me a card to call in the future about cleaning the gutters. 

They were very professional, answering all my questions. 

Gutter Helmet also came highly recommended to me by my neighbor (these 2 gentleman told me they had installed his gutters!).  However, I was pressed for time with 2 other jobs I needed completed, and hired a company who could do all 3 jobs at once, not realizing they would contract out to Gutter Helmet!

I would absolutely hire Gutter helmet for any future gutter needs.

They did a very good job. They were straight forward and did what they said they would do. I wanted them to test the product to make sure it did what they said it would do and they did and it did. So far I am happy with the installation. They were recommended to me by a client and I would recommend them to others. So far, it's worked well. I would say the price was fair based on the hours they spent doing it, the proximity and the products needed to do it. They cleaned up after themselves.

Gutter Helmet was a good company. They were clean, quick and polite. The helmets work great and I have recommended them to others.
