The sales manager, Robert Battinnelli did a great job explaining everything that needs to get done and everything is written in detail in the proposed work contract.
Tommy and Darren came 15 minutes early ( schedule is at 8:30 a.m.)and were able to replace the units just right after 12 p.m. 7 May 2014. They were very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job and very satisfied by their work.
Guy did find where someone had taken the wires off the float switch quickly tested the float switch and reconnected the wires.
It's important to note that guy did not rush through this process. It was easy to see that he was thorough and methodical in his inspection. When the process was complete, Guy gave me a written report on his findings , Discussed his professional recommendations for the system, and his business card.
.I completely recommend Guy Davis and Air McCall. They are now our HVAC company

"As the owner of Air McCall, I take a personal interest in how our customers perceive our relationship and, although I am happy Mr. [REMOVED MEMBER NAME] gave us 'A's on almost everything, I am disappointed we did not meet Mr. [REMOVED MEMBER NAME]'s expectations on the price for our work. We use "commercial" thermostats that are very different from the type that can be purchased online. Our Honeywell thermostats are designed to be used with all types of heat pumps with different wiring scenarios and ours carry a 5 year warranty versus the Honeywell thermostats at the Home Depot and online venues that carry only a 1 year warranty and are a much inferior thermostat. So, although you can buy a cheap Honeywell thermostat online, you can't buy the commercial grade ones for $40. We continuously monitor our pricing structure and our charges are consistently under the industry standard and they were in Mr. [REMOVED MEMBER NAME]'s case as well. We also had to replace some additional electrical components on Mr. [REMOVED MEMBER NAME]'s system so that added to the repair cost and we cleaned the evaporator coil in the air handler and installed 3 ft of armaflex at no charge to Mr. [REMOVED MEMBER NAME] to make sure he didn't have any issues with the home inspection during the sale of this property. I feel our pricing is very fair but the bottom line is I would like to turn an unhappy customer into a happy one so I have placed a $50 "goodwill" credit on Mr. [REMOVED MEMBER NAME]'s account to be used in any way he would like to use it. "We can't solve each customer's problems over the phone, but by asking good questions we are often able to troubleshoot and suggest potential problem areas for you to check (tripped breaker, dirty filter, clogged drain, etc.) in order to save you a service call. "We appreciate you sharing your recent experience with our company. Air McCall performed a maintenance check on both of your AC systems then returned a few days later for a complaint that one of the systems was not running. Upon arrival, our tech found both units were running and cooling. All mechanical checks were normal and there was no additional charge. At the customer's request, we then installed a new safety float switch and left the unit operating properly. We look forward to serving you again in the future."
He responded within a day to my request and set the appointment immediately. He checked the electrical components, amps, coils, drain line, refrigerant pressures, vacuumed out the condenser and wiped down the older AC unit. He replaced the filter. I had contacted him before arriving to bring 6 filters for each of our units since we had no replacements. We paid an additional amount for those filters. He also recommended a replacement UV bulb and yearly maintenance contract but did not pressure us to do either. We opted to wait and decide later about both.
His service was excellent and we feel more confident that the unit is operating as it should, since we purchased the house 8 months prior to the service.
I would definitely recommend this company.
